I met Robby Gordon in April of 1995 on CA State Route 62. He was driving his sisters BMW at 95 mph, verified on Ka band radar, in a 55 mph speed limit area as he was coming towards Vidal Junction, California. After he adjudicated the CHP 215 that I had issued to him, we became friends. I can attest to this fact about Robby Gordon; He does what he says he is going to do. If Robby Gordon says that he has put the team together to build a Dodge Challenger SRT for Watkins Glen, you can rest assured come this seasons race, he will be fielding a 2022 Dodge Challenger SRT in that race. He will win that race as well and put Dodge back on the track to NASCAR Cup fame. He is one honest, good and decent guy.
