That old lady’s comment about, “boys like having something to grab onto.” Hit too hard. I go teased all the time for being too skinny and flat. I developed later than my female friends and I was told, by my friends and bullies, that no one would ever love me because my body was too flat. I was consistently told this from ages 10-12. I started eating a ton of food to try to fill myself out and it didn’t work. And then my friends would make comments about how I shouldn’t eat so much because I’ll get fat and look like a pig and no one loves a pig. I couldn’t win and they aren’t my friends anymore.

Leaving your car on with a child inside is a very easy way for your child to get taken, or both your car and kid being taken. A lot of cars need keys in the car or ignition to be left on which makes stealing the car very easy. If there is a young kid in the back they don’t know the dangers of a situation like that. There was a situation of a 13 year old girl being left in the car while her parents ran in to grab takeout. They left the car on and someone ended up stealing the car. The guy didn’t notice the girl because she tried to jump out but was stuck by her seatbelt. The girl ended up being dragged for miles by the car because she was stuck in her seatbelt. People followed the car and called the cops, but by the time the police caught up with the car she had already died. The parents only ran in quickly to grab food and in that short time someone took their car and changed their lives forever. Leaving your kid in the car isn’t smart or responsible no matter how careful you are.
