Fact - Sour Patch Kids actually ARE vegan. So on top of being a bully and a generally unpleasant person, Erin doesn’t actually know what she’s talking about.

Erin isnt vegan either cuz there is no such thing as a "vegan diet" since veganism is a philosophy (and subsequent lifestyle). There is however such a thing as a '100% plantbased diet' which is what people usually think of when they hear 'vegan'. But the fact of the matter is you don't have to be 100% plantbased in dietary terms to be vegan and you don't have to be vegan to consume a plantbased diet. (If anyone has questions I'll post the definition of veganism :)

You can also not be a child molester without telling other people not to molest children. >.> The problem with this logic is exploiting animals like other things includes a victim. There is a just a constructive way to go about it, none include name calling, shaming people as most people are not aware of their choice to exploit animals. Harvesting honey, making money out of it, undirectly make people go out of their ways to protect bees. Also, there's 'fake' honey, that's not coming from bees.
I'm not vegan myself, I try to limit my meat intake, be careful about what I buy. There's some things I've never really understood though. While I understand eggs not being vegan, if you were to adopt a hen, give her plenty of space, wouldn't it be okayt to take its eggs? I mean, it wouldn't be animal cruelty, your hen is still going to lay eggs right? That's on these little nuances that I sometimes don't understand the very strict rules people like Erin have.
Sadly the message behind veganism is often clouded by people like her who want to make you think that it's all or nothing, when in reality, if everyone was a bit more careful, maybe we'd be able to make things more respectful towards animals when we do eat them. I'm not sure i'm making much sense, but when we mass produce, everything has to go fast, with no regards to the animal's pain. However, there are ways to make those animals not suffer, and maybe before yelling that everyone should stop right now, being in a middle ground would be more fair. I just wish things were more nuanced, and that i wouldn't write 3 paragraphs to explain something that could have been said in probably 2 lines haha

People like that usually never practice what they preach. I imagine that she’s not vegan when she’s alone. There was this girl sitting in front of me in class who was a NLP counsellor and the world’s most perfect life coach and she let everybody including our teacher know about it. One morning as we all bleared in, coffee in hand, she was drinking juice and gave this great speech about how she only consumed natural foods, caffeine was a bad, bad..a crutch, basically making out that us coffee drinkers were beneath her lofty standards.. at lunch time I took my coffee around to the side entrance of the building where no one goes, to smoke a cigarette ( because why have one bad habit when you can have two) . So I was sitting on the step, out of view, and then I saw her..she was walking across the parking lot of the convenience store next door…. and she was carrying a huge bottle of Coca Cola.. that made me laugh.. human hypocrisy at its finest. Mind you, if anyone says they’ve had anything to do with NLP, that’s a game changer for me, because they are going to be non-functioning human beings, complete hypocrites, living in denial. Totally disconnected from themselves. They will never walk what they talk, they are broken down people.

Exactly this. I was vegan once (hated it, sorry), and the community was so chill. The K-pop community is the same way, I’m no longer a part of it but the loud few were _so_ loud. Almost every vegan I’ve met didn’t announce it unless either being asked or ordering food.
