Living the dream (should have seen the rain I rode in a week ago) 🙂 I only take the small 500\ zoom lens body in the tank bag, never taken the Pro bodies on the bike.
Inbetween jobs it's nice to have some fun right? Rain can be heavy on these islands haha.

Just like Wales but warm😂 Living in Northumberland I’m used to varied weather. I carry a Canon M6 camera in my SW Motech PRO Engage tank bag, perfect camera for moto adventures…with a lot of DJI kit too most of which goes in a top box😬👍

I had a Vanguard sling bag called UP-rise that was fairly good for small hikes. It took a body with attached 70-200, and could still fit a few other smaller lenses (max 4 of them). Don't think it sells anymore, but B&H have photos so you can search for it, and get a good idea on what it looks like and how it would behave. Had built in rain cover - seems like you could make use of that. ;)
Not an abundance of extra pockets or storage room, but could squeeze in a little extra, like a pack or two of Compeed for blisters.
I believe the road you refereed in California is Mulholland Drive....Love you channel😁

Afhankelijk van het doel wat ik wil vastleggen neem ik of (spiegelreflex of compact) camera mee, maar wel altijd in de Nelson Rigg Trails RG-1055 deze bevalt mij prima. Op vakantie gaat het mee in de zijtassen.

something i learned the hard way, always pack your lens's upright in whatever bag you have as i've had the glass inside the lens move from going over large bumps/dips in the road when packed laying flat.
What is the mount you use for your camera. Looks like you got Irish weather

I too had to be rescued by the sacred hot dryer air 😊
You never know what kind of attributes you might need while on the road, I was so happy with the hand dryer at that moment 😂

Maybe use a tankbag for your camera stuff? I use a sw motech bag. Nice and sturdy.
I have a Tank Bag that is held on with Magnets and when you take it off it has straps so you can use it as a Ruck Sack...... Have you tried using those thin surgical gloves under your normal gloves just to keep your hands dry?? That is one hell of a coast line.... Lots to explore..... Take care and have fun.... :-)) xx
When travelling I always carry fuel-pomp-gloves with me for that extra layer of warmth if needed haha! Beautiful island indeed

Great video as always Leonoor. The weather plays a massive part of our motorcycling lives doesn’t it. When I’m out and about with my camera I use one of three set ups to transport my gear. 1. A Manfrotto camera bag on my back. 2. A Lowepro camera bag strapped to the back of the bike or 3. An Oxford Tail Bag. I always place a thick drying towel at the base of the Oxford bag to help with vibration and create extra padding. I must be honest, it’s always a pain when taking the gear with you but it’s a necessity as you know. I can’t wait for your next episode! 😁👊
Ain't nothing like that weather hey! But we can dress for that. It for sure is very difficult to find something that I can use on my own bike, well as on other bikes when travelling/working. So a backpack seems to be the one option that I can for sure always use. Thanks for your tips! Next episode is in the making
