This brings back memories! I did this drive in March 2020 with my Mom & sister. We also moved from the GTA to Calgary. Unfortunately with the pandemic starting, we didn't know what to expect so we had to rush the journey. Our version of the fog was a crazy snow storm in the same spot!
That was such a beautiful road trip Celine. Awe Inspiring. I loved your reflective monologue as you got closer to Calgary about how different people live their lives along some of the farm land you drove across. Just the writer in me giving your storytelling and profound summary a hi five. Here are my highlights. You already know the first one. What it is? Yep you guessed it! The Regina rain!! How dare you not buy two raincoats and a small one for Bean 😂. You have to take a long walk and enjoy heaven's showers. Try it one day. When I release my rain collection of poetry and journals I'll drop the link in the comments. Other highlights were the prairie lands. That was the most gorgeous sight ever. Cool prairie dog too! I enjoyed seeing that legion of cows all laying around slacking too. I wonder if someone owns all of those cows? Probably so. Seeing the Rockies in the distance was breathtaking. I love snow capped mountains. I flew over the Cascade mountain range coming back from a Seattle trip once. I can't even describe how euphoric that was. My final highlight was was the stop at the burger and shake spot you guys stopped at. I haven't been to one of those old fashioned Mom and Pop Burger spots in a long time. I bet it was yummy. I enjoyed this vlog so much I rewinded it and looked at it again. It was an adventure. Thank you for sharing it with us. I'm looking forward to the path ahead. You've definitely taken the road less traveled. You've stepped into the beautiful unknown. I also can't wait till your return to the intimate setting of your audio podcast. The difference is now I have a podcast and it's getting great feedback. I'm excited to create new episodes. So I'll leave it there. I hope you're settling in and you all are doing well. Later! Walter

Very nice trip with great scenery. I haven't seen much of the middle part of Canada before and was very interesting to see a part of Canada that doesn't get shown much.

It certainly would have felt like a video game, going from one destination to another with so many interesting sights and things to see. You really chose so well for the Airbnb stop overs👍. How did Bean do during the long trip? I laughed so hard when he was growling at the black bear statue😅. Thunderbay certainly looks beautiful😎. I couldn't get over the rain you encountered. And the last thing you needed was some sort of car trouble but at least it wasn't that serious. I have heard about the Matt Perry Biography, being such a good read as well as sad. I love the show Friends and his character Chandler was so hilarious. I have been to Winnipeg twice when I stayed with a pen pal for 3 weeks ( sadly we lost contact). I have been to the Forks and thought it was really nice. I loved my stay in Winnipeg. Goodness me, seeing a prairie dog😲. Can't wait to see your settling into Calgary videos, cheers, Lara🦘🐨

I moved from Sudbury to Calgary and what a long arsed trip it was but I went during the 1st snow fall and it was a journey and a half, I'm so glad you made it safely and Wawa still looks the same wow, thank you for this video of Ontario it was nice to see home again, I miss the water and trees out here in Calgary.
