I’ve watched all his videos , it’s Better then going to the restaurant keep doing everything your doing , can I recommend fried gyozas I really want to make them for the family
Steve can we see your wife?.. she’s doing a superb job with the camera🙌🏼I have made every recipe and there all bloody fabulous! Thanks to you both for such a fab series my family are loving it ! 👍🏻😘🙏🏻
this makes us so happy to hear! steve's wife name is claire and she is indeed a brilliant camerawoman and lady. I'm sure we can convince her to make a cameo soon! thanks for watching 😘 x
I moved out of the UK a year ago and I’ve been missing this ramen all that time. I just cooked it and it tasted reaaally similar to the one from the restaurant and my family loved it. Thank you for the video :)
Folks I should point out he's not cooking REAL Japanese food. Ramen is much more complicated than just boiling up water and adding chicken stock cubes 🙉 plus never put red onion in ramen especially raw 🤢
El Japonés Exotico wagamama never claims to be traditional. Food is constantly evolving and if it taste nice why moan about if it follows your great grandmas recepie? BRING FORTH THE REVOLUTION
There's nothing bad about liking the food but when even the "chef" is getting it wrong calling the sauce "katsu" wrongly educating people I feel they should be exposed
I had had one other bowl of ramen in my life before I ate at wagamama at like age 15 and I was still disgusted by how bad it was. It's not ramen in any meaningful sense of the word. I hatewatch all these videos just so I can confirm with my own eyes that he sucks at cooking and I wasn't crazy. Costs twice as much to eat Wagamama's garbage ramen too. Wouldn't eat it again I was paid to.
Little confesion here, used to work fryier station at Wigmore st. London. I remeber you walking in few times in the kitchen. For that year I always took what's left after noon shift and gave that super luxus asia food to homeles people at Elephant and castle. Greetings from Czech rep, missing my most hated (at the time) Chicken Katsu, so thanks for that recepie!
I’m so glad this is a thing now as I have been to Wagamama since I was 3 and I’m the only one in the house with taste buds and love chilli ramen !! Thank you!!
Caitlin Muir without doubt! Won’t be as good but will still work fine! Play around with the garnish too! Can also add a touch of soy sauce and remove the spice elements, taste as you go and see how you get on :)
Finally found this video! I’ve been ordering in chilli chicken ramen soup every week for the past 2 weeks as I’ve been feeling poorly 😷 and this has helped me restore my sense of taste. Although I’m broke af I’d definitely order it again and again!!
Steve, what a phenomenal video. I genuinely find your style very engaging, and I only stumbled across this video whilst looking for the best/closest ways to cook Chilli Chicken Ramen the Wagamama way. I'm putting this in to practice tonight and can't wait to see the results. Keep up the great work mate, cheers
This looks amazing and I will definately be making this,I've seen some ramen dishes that have a boiled egg in the dish which I might add. Regards chris
Amazing Steve well done! So excited to give this one a go. I need to see if you have done a video on the fire cracker as that is an all time favourite of mine. Would love to have a crack at cooking in the wagamamas kitchen
My absolute favs are the vegetarian gyozas and the veggie katsu curry. I love the salad dressing and was so happy you did a video on how to make it! Could I ask for a video on the the gyoza dipping sauce, it's just a little pot of delight and have been craving it so much 😋 thank you!
Thank you Steve for sharing these recipes, have already made 3 of them and they are amazinggggg. We visited London for a week last December and ate at Wagamama every alternate day. We are loving it! Thank you once again 🤗
The excess starch from the noodles will make then stock starchy, like used pasta water and the noodles would stick more as there’s less fluid to dilute the starch and give them space
Steve, These pieces of delicious magic have been a blooming God send. We love the Waga family even more than we did before because we can see the magic behind the magic. Loving the dogs as well - an essential ingredient to a happy house!!
I’ve watched all his videos , it’s Better then going to the restaurant keep doing everything your doing , can I recommend fried gyozas I really want to make them for the family
hey harry! steve is hosting a live gyoza making workshop on our instagram feed this saturday! be sure to tune in! 🙌🏼
This recipe series from wagamamas is the silver lining to tide us over during these corona times
That does not look like 150g of butter lol, guessing it's 15g?
It looks like a table spoon he uses

Lovely
That bowl of ramen looked delectable. Hands down my favourite dish on the menu. Thanks Steve!
Duck Donburi! 😁🎌
This is legit my fav meal from wagamama thank you so much
Loving this series and the chef's professionalism & accent. It's as if Martin Kemp became exec chef of Wagamama and gave me home cooking lessons...
I moved out of the UK a year ago and I’ve been missing this ramen all that time. I just cooked it and it tasted reaaally similar to the one from the restaurant and my family loved it. Thank you for the video :)
Wtf

Plus we are in lockdown not everyone is going to be able to access a chicken carcass
There's nothing bad about liking the food but when even the "chef" is getting it wrong calling the sauce "katsu" wrongly educating people I feel they should be exposed
El Japonés Exotico i just dont think its that deep? he’s just showing people a recipe

Please please please i really need the raisukareee recipe please 🙏🙏🙏
Steve, thanks for doing this, your kindness is unbelievable. Wagamama is one of my favourite places to eat, and these days I have reassured it.
Quite love your use of adjectives for each ingredient, quite exceptional! ☺️
Thanks for the videos!
Looks great. Any chance you could recreate the Chicken Surendra’s curry? That was my favourite but sadly it was discontinued!
Made this today for dinner! Thank you soo much for this recipe! I love Wagamama! But we don’t have it in India! Needed this so badly!
Could you do this with just a stock cube then, and add the butter/cornflour/fish sauce combo to that?
Caitlin Muir without doubt! Won’t be as good but will still work fine! Play around with the garnish too! Can also add a touch of soy sauce and remove the spice elements, taste as you go and see how you get on :)
What temperature does the chicken go in the oven for, and for how long? :)
3:12 190C for 20-30 mins
PLEASE make chicken + prawn pad thai
Is that 15g of butter not 150g for the Beurre Manie?
20-30 mins for half a chicken breast seems like a long time in the oven no? Recipe looks great though 🔥
hey harry! thanks for watching! good spot. that is based on the original recipe which calls for two whole breasts 😁👍🏻
Could we see salmon teriyaki soba?
Why is he talking intermittently with a silly mocking accent?
Not sure if I watch these for the recipes or for the dogs
Shouldn’t you lay items like red onion in the bowl first then cover with stock? Let it soften slightly
Can you do a vegetarian version please
Making this tonight 🍲🥢
He has such a nice house
Ok... This was excellent. Love Wagamamas Ramen
Finally found this video! I’ve been ordering in chilli chicken ramen soup every week for the past 2 weeks as I’ve been feeling poorly 😷 and this has helped me restore my sense of taste. Although I’m broke af I’d definitely order it again and again!!
Incredible, I cannot wait to make this. Wagamama's ramen of all types is my fav
Any chance we can get a link for that awesome ceramic draining bowl?!
Never been to a wagamama. Would people recommend it. I remember when they opened just put off by that whole seating arrangement
Worth it
its good but your local asian restaurant is probably better!
If you’ve never had Japanese before it’s a good starter. If you like your Japanese food then there’s better independent places.
Yeeees! Shirodashi next, pleeeeease?!
Noctia omg yesssss! I miss my weekly dose of shirodashi!

This bloke is by favourite chef after Gordon Ramsey
Thanks Steve - you've got exceptional food and great presentation skills too. Would love to watch you on TV too 😀
This looks amazing and I will definately be making this,I've seen some ramen dishes that have a boiled egg in the dish which I might add.

Has anyone tried making the chicken stock from scratch? I had a go with making this recipe today but my stock was a bit greasy. Any tips?
How much of this is the same if I wanted to make your wonder Chilli Beef Ramen? Is it just a simple case of switching the meat?
Where can I buy that stock strainer? Or even if anyone knows the model.
Amazing Steve well done! So excited to give this one a go. I need to see if you have done a video on the fire cracker as that is an all time favourite of mine.
Would love to have a crack at cooking in the wagamamas kitchen
Hi how much water do you start the stock with? I assume there is water added with all the stock ingredients.
Amazing. Can I request surendra curry please
please do a vegan ramen! ive been craving it so much and thr packets i usually buy are all gone! lol
Thank you for taking the time to do these videos. I really enjoy them. Can you please do my fave next chick Niko curry please???? :)
My absolute favs are the vegetarian gyozas and the veggie katsu curry. I love the salad dressing and was so happy you did a video on how to make it! Could I ask for a video on the the gyoza dipping sauce, it's just a little pot of delight and have been craving it so much 😋 thank you!
Is this the same prosese for the chilli prawn + kimchee?
Is there an alternative to making own chicken stock?
i started cooking for my family a few weeks ago and they absolutely devoured the dish and you made it so simple
Can you make the chicken ramen please
Thank you Steve for sharing these recipes, have already made 3 of them and they are amazinggggg. We visited London for a week last December and ate at Wagamama every alternate day. We are loving it! Thank you once again 🤗
this is the best thing off the menu tbh
Came for the dogs, stayed for the food
Dopiest Chef in The U.K 🤣💯
Thank you...That stock tip is bang on.
Where are your knifes from? 😀
Top video mate!! thanks!!
Please do a pork ramen
Legend mate! Keep the good vids coming
Pad Thai recipe please 😊
Wouldn't it be better to cook the noodles in the stock rather than water?
The excess starch from the noodles will make then stock starchy, like used pasta water and the noodles would stick more as there’s less fluid to dilute the starch and give them space
Love this, thank you💞
Is there something else that I can use instead of fish sauce? I can’t eat anything that’s seafood or fish related.
That’s an added extra to give it a bit more umame just a bit of butter will do the recipe in there cook book doesn’t have the fish sauce in it

Yessssssssssssss
Looking great!
Yessss finally haha ❤️
Steve, These pieces of delicious magic have been a blooming God send. We love the Waga family even more than we did before because we can see the magic behind the magic.
Loving the dogs as well - an essential ingredient to a happy house!!
I like the food but the guy seems a bit of a clown 😂 ‘we want the onion really thin’ *cuts it thick* 😣🥴
Loving this recipe, but should we be cooking off the beansprouts? I always thought raw beansprouts were extremely bad for you?
It’s okay to eat the raw if you don’t have any health issues.
