Thank you very much for your support! What do you think of Elf Refresh? How did you like this video, would you like casual videos more or you prefer the normal types?
Mixed emotions on seeing this a bit more. Have always kind of viewed elves as having natural beauty...this feels a bit more like make-up. Even looks a bit like lipstick on the men in some areas. Optimistic about it all though, feels like I could come up with something I would like. Thanks for the preview...Bilbo.
Due to the mouth color options - it is "technically" lipstick, so you have to choose it wisely. It is possible to create a naturally beautiful Elf, I just didn't go for it specifically - maybe I focused too much on showing how you change the original templates to something else!
Wrinkles don't necessarily mean old, regardless not all Elves looked young according to Tolkien. In the end it is a video game for fun and an RPG for roleplaying.
"In the last years of the Third Age, Círdan appeared very old save for his eyes which "were keen as stars", wearing a long beard. Likely, he had grown a beard since having reached his third cycle of life." Elves do appear aged when they are very old. He is like over 11,000 years old and one of the oldest Elves in Middle-Earth and last to leave it.
With the technology of ai coming as a storm to game change everything on the gaming development, i wonder if it would be possible to integrate it to lotro and see a huge graphics update as this gem game deserves
@@Samarah98 No, that's for the previous avatar update over the first iteration. As far as I know, there have been two iterations before this new batch that started with the Man avatar update, which is the third. The checkbox came with the second iteration to allow people to keep the first iteration. This will now be obsolete for Elves in this third iteration, as it is now with Men.
You should re-customize your character at a Barber NPC because their current appearance is definitely gonna be changed or messed up when the update arrives. You're largely not meant to leave it as is.

Wouldn't mind casual / gameplay videos from time to time!
I want this update for high elf! Right bow
Love seeing your content brother, really well executed. It’s good to have you!

@@RangerHaz Good to know, makes me more optimistic about it.
You're doing an excellent job !
Thank you Alex! Have a great day!
I like that there's a unique art style in this game which seems to stand the test of time.
Agreed, it's old - but still extremely enjoyable.
@@RangerHaz Absolutely!
Hi!! I'm fairly new to LOTRO and I found this channel while looking for some guides, are they planning to update other races or just elves?
They started updating them last year, so I assume so yes!
@@RangerHaz That’s pretty cool, hopefully they do it, thanks!
What race and class is the character at very start of video? Is that human or elf ranger?
Also u got a sub bro! Like your videos🎉
The beginning of the video is actually a Beorning! Thank you!
Rip. Dont have a normal elf but my main is a high elf. Was excited for this ever since the man update to now find out this doesnt inluce high elves...
I AM SORRY BUT SINCE WHEN DID ELVES HAVE SCARS OR WRINKLES?

It is probably not as easy as that and I am sure using AI has its own cost either financially or sacrificing that human touch.
@@RangerHazlotro is so special with how everything is so entirely human, it would be such a shame!
Bilbo!
Bilbo😊

this elf avatar " update" has me puking and losing interest to log in. They killed my char she just looks so ugly now
If you don't like something specifically you could always give a detailed feedback to the devs, they seem to read the forums very actively!
I think there is an option you can uncheck in the game settings that disables avatar updates. You will be able to keep your current avatar look.
