It sounds absolutely great. I have a question regarding the decibels. Did you, by any chance, measure it? And if so, how much was it? Because I'm only allowed to have exhausts that produce 80db and not more over here.
Thanks for the video - it was concise and informative. I just ordered for my 2015 NC700. I did see another video where the guy drilled a 1" hole in the baffle. Does this serve any purpose in your opinion? Thanks again!
Go get a tube of the red high temperature Permatex. Run a thick bead at every joint before slipping them together and wipe off the excess. Let the Permatex dry completely before firing up the bike. I did this on mine and no leaks.
No adjustments or tuning needed for just a slip on. The catalytic converter is built in right after it comes out of the head and provides all the back pressure needed. It will pop and crackle on decel, but this is to be expected with such an open pipe. It came with a baffle called a (DB Killer). I didn't install the DB Killer, but it may prevent the pop on decel. It will also make the bike quieter, which is not what I wanted.
Great video very informative, just one thing though, forgive me for being pedantic but dispite the bike being named the NC700X it isn't a 700cc bike it's a 670cc.
hello, please tell me how you dealt with the central foot with this silencer, because I ordered the same one and put it on and when I fold the foot, it rubs against the chain because on the original exhaust there is a bumper for the central foot.
I honestly don't know what a "central foot" is. Are you referring to the rider foot pegs? You must have a different year than mine because my original exhaust didn't have any "bumper" on it. Also, do you own the one with a automatic clutch? That model could be different. I didn't have any issues with mine. I'd love to help you, but not quite sure whats going on.
@@ReconRokon I mean the central foot, which is located under the motorcycle, which after replacing the exhaust with ko lighting, as I leave it, catches my chain because on the original muffler there was a blockade to lower the foot under the motorcycle to a certain point. And sorry for not understanding but I'm from Poland and I use google translator
@@ReconRokon and I have the same year and manual gearbox, see how it looks, for example, a muffler with a connecting pipe in Dominator under the motorcycle there is a middle foot and in Dominator there is a cover for the middle foot under the motorcycle
@@Sepa9910 Sorry brother, I can't help you. Not sure about your terminology- "Dominator" and "middle foot" is not registering. I am a motorcycle mechanic and have been working on bikes for 35 plus years and I don't get it. Best of luck to you. I hope you can figure out a solution. I have since sold my bike and bought a powercruiser, but this pipe was awesome on mine when I had it. No issues with mine.

I did not measure the decibels.
Sounds real good

The only thing I can think of is to make it louder?? I've been running this pipe for several months now and no issues.
Nice, just bought one from the same seller. Should arrive on Tuesday

@@ReconRokon appreciate it!
Sweet exhaust. I wonder if the Ctx 700 would sound about the same?
Exact same engine so I imagine it would sound exactly the same.
Sounds great, thanks for the video!
HELL YEAH BROTHER
Wow awesome sound! Can i ask what make are your crash bars set please, i am looking for some for quite some time! Have a good one!
I honestly don't know the brand of the crash bars. The previous owner had them installed. No name of manufacturer stamped on them anywhere.
@@ReconRokon No problem my friend, thanks for the answer, have fun riding next summer!
Think I’m definitely ordering this one now for my 2015 700x.
Also just checking not sure if you had covered it in the video but is the baffle removable?
Yes, it is removable. In this video it was uninstalled.
Has anyone had any problems with MOT with this fitted?
Nice bike!
Did you have to do any other things like tuning of the fuel injection? Or adjusting ?

What mm springs did you go with?
I used the springs that came with the exhaust system. Not sure what size they were but very tight.
You have link for buy ??
Sorry, no link.
