I'd recommend a travel fit until you get a site. You can change subsystems on the go. The nullifier and some istabs can be useful when moving around. It is what I do when I move my tengus around to do escalations. Haven't been caught yet. I like to hear the bloody thrift from another Brave bro! Get em!
T3 are amazing, very versatile in every sense of the way. With a mobile depot you can change the rigs, sub system and module making them adjustable for every occasion. If you know the region where you are going you can specificity tweak / adjust the tank for a 10/10 or data site or whatever really ! DPS is pretty amazing too for a cruise ship. For new players creating a skill plan based on a T3 cruiser not only gives you a great ship but it will also open a lot of other ships while training for T3 in EVE online Personally I prefer heavy missile on my Tengu's With implants you can crank out ~ 800 dps. The range is just very relaxing, you can keep distance, transversal etc the tank will hold up as long as you keep moving. You were doing the sites a few jumps away where I used to run the abyssal pvp sites in the good old days. For the combat sites I prefered a Loki, has more tank against sansha rats

I believe the gurista and blood 10/10 have a citadel torpedo launcher that can one shot a rattlesnake. People ratting will have max resist for the local faction. In this case odds are high the em resists are high.

first lowsec system i went for escalation was in FW space, i was in a caracal. Warp to the site, started kill some mobs, combat probes on dscan already lmao. i dock in the only station there is, theres a 1400 mach on dock. I land 2km away and go to dock, i get grazing hit. I undock and stop my ship, waiting for invul timer as long as i can then book it 90 degree angle, They miss. i warp to get back to highsec and abandon this escalation. Cruiser gang follows me. i get away cause my caracal was equipped with the following: 4x inertial stabalizers i say in chat, thanks for letting me go. the salt Flows LMAO never going to lowsec escalations again
I really love the Tengu - but it is a bit of a overkil for high sec, plus you can not enter 3/10 and 4/10 with it. I will eventually try blingy fit for null sec ratting. Plus i really love the cloaky fit, nice for sneaking around...
Im testing actual how i can run nullsec as a solo player. Tried it with the Tenug and in my opinion the biggest downside is that you are kinetic locked and you have to carry tons of ammunition. So i will give the proteus a try. With only drones it got 600-700 dps with the benefit that you can choose the type of dmg. On top of that is that you can run an 100MN AB fit. So i dont see how the tengu can be better. Sure at close range the dps may be higher but with javelin on range the dps also drop to 600-700.

Are you sure if that sasha 7/10 you tried, you wasn't able to Jump without kill the rats? Because I use to run Drone 7/10 and 8/10 and i only needed to kill the rats with point on me and head to the last run, same as guristas 10/10 mazes, Just kill the point and head to the correct gates
lol, torps...... in your dreams and be interesting to chart diff in using em dmg type against their weak spot compared to kin dmg which you get like 25% increased dmg for Tengu

You used a signal filament. That takes you to ships. The noise takes you to quite place
