Got one of these as an escalation from Serpentis Den yesterday… was in hisec seven jumps away so little risk. Ran it with a HAM Tengu set up similar to yours, except with a pair of faction specific shields hardeners rather than the multi spectrum. Effective tank ~500dps ..l found I could just sit still and blast everyone, didn’t need to move around. Headshot boss in last room similar to yourself. Generally takes DED sites about 3min to despawn once final faction loot can/boss is destroyed; warp out, wait 3min, warp back.
But got much luckier on the loot - Corelum B 50MN AB and a multispectrum energised membrane. Just over 600mill with the overseers effects in all. So would have been well worth it, even in low sec with all attendant risks … two of these covers cost of my fully fit Tengu.
So, I run up to 7/10 in my 800 mil Loki. Yesterday did both angel and blood raider 7/10 with a same fit. HAM with 34km range Rage distance. Also benefit of Loki to Tengu is people presume you are pvp fitted. I mostly live in low sec. I want to try laser legion but its just worst version to Loki. Because Loki eats ammo fast. Had to set up stations with ammo on my rout.
Blood raiders are problem with bs neuts if you cant be effective with dps at 26+ range.
Ace, do you have a proteus fit to run these sites?
What I'd be doing is checking everyone's bio, see what he's about. Also pulling my D-scan in to see if he was scanning my site down. Pretty sure it was a 5/10 I did in a Rook. Most folk won't even know you're there.
You can do the same in a deimos for 1/4 of the cost
Not really the same, you can't warp cloaked and you have to refit to scan. This is a covert tangu that pushes 637 EDPS @30km, with a tank of 616 EHP/s, considering NPC resists and damage type.

614 EDPS @41km plus tank 721EHP/s plus ADC. Better speed and smaller sig too. You loose a bit of DPS, you gain a bit of tank. This is about 2/3 of the price (you can drop implant if you replace the cap battery with the Thukker variant).
But mainly you do loose the cloak and the probe launcher, which you can keep in the cargo bay and refit but it's less convenient.
A blaster deimos fit can easily push 833 EDPS @3.4 km with tank 611EHP/s but w severely limited application due to range. I've never done this specific 5/10 (I did sansha and angel w other ships), I have no idea if you can simply face tank it with around 600 EHP/s of tank. If that works, it is indeed dirty cheap (like 1/3 of the tengu), but I suspect travel time before hitting something can take away a lot from your applied DPS.
If you're soling in hostile space, not having a cloak is a big drawback. If you're in relatively safe space controlled by your corp, w intel and all, it's a different story.
@@TheMule71 I run a rail deimos with 550dps flat and 93/94 thermal and kinetic resists, fair to say it doesn't face a threat from this site at all, but it lacks from the cloak and safety in hostile space yes. Eve est price for it is 216 mil which is significantly lower than this tengu and also skill requirements too (I don't have skills for any t3 cruiser)
@@Bobstroyer yes I tried that too, and it had way less DPS than the cerberus, that's why I didn't mention rails. Then again it's dirty cheap and does the jobs if you're is mostly secure space.
I think the point of the tengu is to run DEDs in potentially hostile space, hence the covert configuration, and it's quite impressive the DPS it puts out for basicly a T2 fit, while keeping the clock and a decent tank.
Whether it's worth it, it's an entire different matter. The time you spend searching plus the unlikiness of good drops combined with the risk of loosing a 800m ship ranks DED running in hostile LS quite low among the possible ISK making activities, IMHO.
This is why I do not play this game anymore.
1bil worth of ship, 20 minutes in space where gankers can hit you at anytime( you are always on your toes and cant relax for a second).
