- I'm taking my 2015 3.7L Infiniti Q50 on the road to making it a 3.7L "Red Sport."
This will be done using a Stillen supercharger kit with our own personal twist! A2A upgrade, v3 si vortech supercharger, CJM feul system, +MORE!!

Changed the struts for the trunk. Fixed it for me.
Which did you put in? Because like most of us owners, that trunk slam just blows.
You don't get digital gauges in the euro brands for 2015 either. Fog lights are the same on most euros, only meant to be turned on when you have your lights are on in the fog, its illegal to have them on in some countries to use then when not necessary.
$250 for brakes? Wtf? They cost like $40 the most for good quality ceramic brakes and you can change them yourself. It's like taking Legos out and putting it back in. Damn...that caught me off guard
No $40 pad compares to EBC. It's a night and day difference.
I am thinking of a Q50 3.7 mostly because it’s more reliable other than that what opinions do y’all have on this

Another couple things that should come standard are memory seats and electronic steering wheel adjustment
Both of those do come in higher model Q50"S. I only opt'd for bose sound system & sunroof
I feel the same about my q50 ima get rid of the stock entertainment screen and replace it for the tesla screen it looks way better and u can do way more

I just installed a Takeda air intake and it works very well no check engine light easy install I can feel a little boost overall I like the way it looks under the hood as well
Speak on it. Still looking for a good hack for the info-tainment. The auto-truck is a huge disappointment.. 2020 they said will have a more appeal!! I hope.
doublerr.Q50 The 2016+ are extremely tunable already. Unfortunately for us, these vq engines, although strong and reliable, are difficult to pull more power out of. However the 3.0t platform makes huge numbers with simple bolt-ons and a tune.
I think we’d all like to see a dual clutch as the trans in these cars leave a lot to be desired and if guys are making 4-500 hp to the wheels, we’re going to need a performance trans to really enjoy it.
I have the 2020, I didn't get the purple ring,
And no miles to go till empty. No display.
No compass.
No blindspot monitoring.
No memory seats.
Hate the trunk too.
They kind of cheaping out.
I had to change the trunk lifts on mine right away. Less then a week after owning it the trucklid almost took off my hand off. Didn't hit be but close enough to get me to change the lifts right away. Now the truck lid stops where ever I leave it. 3 inches open and it stays. but now you do have to push it all of the way closed which does not bother me at all.
@@RomeloRoman No it is very light to open but heavy to close now which I do not mind at all. I used StrongArm 6802 and got them from RockAuto who had the best price for them. but you can get them elsewhere. If it does get heavy lifting it it would be near the top but it will open the last 4-6 inches by itself the same area that it use to fall from.
I’m surprised you didn’t list the ashtray in the front and back. That’s the most thing I hate about my Q50. Idk what they were thinking when they decided to add ashtrays to a sport luxury car.
The ashtray makes a perfect hiding spot for radar jammer 😉🤫

no, just a cold start with an upgraded fuel pump at the time.

I have the 2014 q50 and I need to know where can I get a tire. A hole was in the freeway yesterday and bust the tire. My husband and I is having a hard time getting one
Just copy the tire measurement of the side wall of the tire, & get the same measurement as a "run flat tire" any brand will be fine!!
You should upgrade the rotors with crossed drilled rotors. Same performance but, pads last longer. Plus they look sweet as hell.
@@RomeloRoman that they are, but also wear out the pads quicker, but you'll definitely stop on a dime. Slotted/Drilled is the better choice for those that go to the track often, otherwise why bother. Almost like buying a Jeep only to be driven on the street with off-road tires.
Sooo am getting a Q50 2015 in 2 weeks can you tell me if this is a good car or what people tell me not to get one
in my opinion i would get a 2017+ Q60... i've had two Q50's a 2015 VQ37 and a 2017 3.0TT and both cars get boring, you would have to get the higher end models like the sport or the redsport to feel like its worth it. The Q60 just looks a lot better, feels and handles better.
I just got mine a week ago and love it. Although the trunk size and the back seats is smaller than I thought. I decided to take my nieces out and I couldn't fit 3 cars seats in the back. I don't have any kids so I didn't think about the space in the back but other than that it's great.
Almost every car you have to enable driving lights to able to enable fog lights.
Cut the wire an hard wire them to a switch done.
I had a brake hold on my previous car, i like it when in drive thrus

But for your information, I swapped to a new steering wheel, new red sport seats & added a supercharger that makes 650whp.

Nice car! How long have u had your infinity how has it treated you? I plan on getting the q50 but I’m not sure if I should wait until the new body change or get the 2018/2019 what would u think ?
Thank you for watching brotha! I've had my infiniti for 2 years now, almost 30k miles, and supercharged for about 5k miles. She's treated me well, but only because I've treated her well. These cars are reliable and resilient. But all cars need a little TLC.
Number 4 is also stupid I have an awd and it’s tuned and when I do sharp corners fast it slips a little. You already solved the problem then it off I don’t get the dislike, lol
I hate all the same things you do until I'm able to pass them with ease atleast the 3.0t redsport models

What are the lights that always stay on called???? One part of my light is burnt out. Makes the car look like bad without it. Always have to leave my lights on just so it doesn’t look bad. Please help ASAP
You called it irises, that right one on my car is out. Do you know where I could get a replacement? I have the same light coloring system as yours.

It's because idiots choose cool factor over safety of using fog lights solo instead of headlights.
Well, you can't shut the headlights off at all. So regardless it would make sense to have the option to turn the fog lights on and off..especially when the day time lights are constantly running
Bro should I get a 2013 Infiniti G37 Coupe or a Q50 sedan. I want a coupe because it looks better but the Q50 just looks newer. Would you rather have the aesthetics of a coupe or the comfort of the Q50? Understand your opinion might affect my financial decision. Thanks.
@@RomeloRoman Thank you so much bro. I did not realize how many G37 cars are out on the road. On Cargurus a low mileage Q50 is about the same price as a low mileage G37 coupe. I REALLY appreciate your response. I have to think about this more but from hearing what you said I probably will get the Q50. I'll subscribe too.

I love my 2014 q50 I hate going to the car wash the mirrors move all type of ways when the brush hits it I rather have the analog Guages if that shit goes out thats money
I think number one is a dumb stupid reason to hate. Fog lights and lights are to see at night and if it’s on during the day whatever it doesn’t do any benefit for it being on

I have a q50 premium 2015 and what bothers me is the bluetooth. In my car it has a delay of 4 seconds. I dont know how to fix that or even change it. Do you have a solution you can share?

What else do you want your screen to do? Play games or what its a car bro, not driving entertainment machine. The entertainment is the speed.
Apple car play or android auto would be nice. Used in bmw, audi, and Mercedes. Alot more user friendly, and alot more functional and versatile.

#1 thing I hate about this car? All around backup camera is not standard. You need to get the tech package to get it. Now that's fine for something like Toyota/lexus but nissan/infiniti freakin invented this system with the g! How the fuck is the technology infiniti invented not standard on a 2014+ Q? Get it together Infiniti...
And then number 3 is also stupid. Q50 is way cheaper then all the other brand you’re talking about and it does the job and everything. Spend $20k more and get a m3, Audi s5, and Mercedes and you’ll get more, lol

my dislike is they took away the analog clock that was the signature thing in the Infiniti's center console for that dumb ass big digital clock. 2. the trunk like u said, the trunk on my 03 M45 is magnetic where u just need to make contact and it seals it self. Why couldn't they do that on this on, and the rear sun shade(3) as well, and side folding mirrors(4). Let me stop, I do luv my Q50 tho. Good vid bro

And they sold me on it at dealership and yes I do love it-love the drive, however some small features you pointed out can be annoying...but anyway, do you know how to reset my dash electronic gauges for like fuel range and avg. Mileage??? As you said, it's currently lying-I think. Lol. *No, I have not read the manual fully but if you knew...
Press and hold the button on the steering wheel that you use to toggle between the settings
In infotainment system is definitely the weak point of the Q50/60

Poor baby... my trunk is too heavy :( Waah.... mommy help me!!!! And its too loud when it closes... You have to be a complete douche bag to drive with your fog lights on when its not foggy! It's why all manufacturers don't let you turn it on automatically. Its there to help in the Fog, and not to blind everyone at night, just so that you can look cool!... I especially hate the idiots that drive with their rear fog lights on. They think their so boss, but they are just looser wanabe's. Classy people drive cars with fog lights and not have them on when they don't need to! In Australia it is illegal to drive with your fog lights on when its not foggy. Most people don't know that and they do anyway but for some reason the police don't pull you up for it. You would think if you were the Po-Po and need to make up quotas that this would be a easy way...
