I love that they didnt change the opening. It's a classic one and I hope I can hear it again if there is a new season.
i'll never understand people's bafflement that show would choose to keep the same main theme when 80% of western shows do exactly that. I get that Japanese anime doesn't normally keep the same song but the fact that people act like they've never heard of such a thing is still extremely strange.
I guess it’s because we’ve never heard of such a thing in anime 🤣 well I say we, that was me anyway, can’t talk for the others.

HunterXHunter is simply MY FAVORITE shonen anime/manga in terms of writing style... Too bad the author got a ton of health problems... Courage to him, I hope he gets better and gets to finish his masterpiece one day.
Personnaly, i think the closest thing to HxH's writing style is JJK... My fave manga of the moment, It's on a whole other level.

@@Kazuzo it’s highly unlikely that he gets better, but if you’re wondering if it’s worth reacting to, the anime is one of the very few that are easily better than the source material, and it ends off quite well to the point where you don’t feel like you need more

Not sure if you realized by now but some of the opening are the same song but different verses you can realize it by listening to the first couple seconds of some openings

Its actually two versions of the song.
Its the same song, but we know that songs are always split into two parts. And both were used.
HunterXHunter is considered by any to teh one of the best series out there.

Hunter x Hunter has one of the best EDs and the songs are different. Most reactors reacts to the HxH EDs not the opening (basically the same song with different visuals). You should check it out.
I'll definitely be doing the ED's. Just adjusting to the new schedule on here and I think it'll be the first one I do when I bring them back.
nah, once u finished all 148 episodes of hxh then u hear this song again, it just so became so nostalgic. and i like that, it’s so iconic
This anime is just incredible, best shonen for me, even above Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Each arc is basically a different genre, and somehow all of them are masterpieces on their own right, specially the darker ones.

as a hxh fan i LOVE that they kept the same song. i started watching anime not long ago and at first i really didnt like the openings in general but this opening was the first one i liked and god i just can get enough of it!!
now i guess im weeb enough to like openings lol but this song is defo one of my favorites

It was a cool song to be fair.
The white guy's name is Killua. The clown guy is Hisuian Morrow and he was a former hunter. He used to be a bad guy but he became a supportive character later on.

At first i was like "What? There were 6 different openings in HxH"
The song to all the Hunter X Hunter intro's is top tier, I don't blame them for just keeping that one song.
As a Hunter x Hunter fan, I could go either way on having the same song for every opening. It's a good enough song. I'm cool with it. As others have said, the different ending songs are worth checking out, too! Also, the old Hunter x Hunter series from the 90s had different opening songs as well.
Funnily, the author of Hunter x Hunter is married to the author of Sailor Moon, and that's another anime that used the same song for almost every opening, just changing the visuals.

Me who never skipped the opening through all 148 episodes: Well, uhm... My favorite opening is Departure. But Departure is also good. I can't choose between Departure and Departure 😂

This is just my theory but I think they used the same song over and over again to copy Yu Yu Hakusho. Same opening but different ending songs.

@@Kazuzo well Yu Yu Hakusho and HxH were from the same author. You should also try some anime ending songs they are much better esp. that from HxH 2011.

Some People say that hxh is one of the best animes of all time and personally I think its just a good series to watch but wouldn't say the best!

Hmm. I have mixed feelings about HxH. The Chimera Ant Arc for me went on way too long. The rest of it was decent, but felt a little stretched. Solid series, generally enjoyable. 8/10
I absolutely don't agree. The chimera ant arc was way too short. I couldn't get enough of it.
Well, with me being a one piece fan, everything feels short.
@@admiralmonocle3874 fair. I just found it frustrating when about 10 episodes ended with “the final battle is about to begin” and I’m sitting there thinking “well clearly it’s not because you keep talking about it!!!!”

well, the chimera ant arc wouldn't work at all if it had less episodes. They split the attention and the storytelling into many different themes in a way that you are not stuck in one only storyline. So 60 episodes is just enough for them to tell the story they wanted to tell. I know that sometimes you want fights but there are animes more focused on that, while HxH preaches a more complete meaningfull story instead of relying or hanging on such a simple concept such as "fight hype" so the lenght was perfect for what they wanted to do. Now if you only want/care about fights and explosions i would understand why you wouldn't like the arc very much, but if thats the case then i dont know what are you doing watching HxH. I dont know if thats your case though
