the description does list "7 Steelbooks and steel outer-case all with brand new artwork. " so hopefully we get good artwork! but not holding my breath XD
I've pre ordered the box set on hmv :D £200 for 7 steelbooks works out cheaper than buying them individually at £32-£35 a pop and I get the back up blu rays on top of the blu ray box set I got in the sales for £20 a few years ago :D :D :D
Totally agree, the thing that gets me is they could almost get somebody to do new artwork or a commentary for free or as a competition prize or something so it’s unbelievable if the don’t.
Yes agreed, I think you're probably right. I've noticed for pre orders that Zavvi will put December as a release date until the actual one is announced. Nosferatu for example still also has a December date atm
Hey Chris! I hope you are well? Yeah I’m going to be preordering this. Big fan and can’t not get it. Hope they have listened to the fans feedback on the packaging on the 4K release on ANoES. Be sweet if they nail it this time around!
Nightmare is my fave film and its my fave franchise, but yeah I'm not paying £200 for a 4k update, I fell in love with the franchise in the dvd era, blu ray will suffice. Considering to my knowledge the recent release (I have the 40th anniversary release but haven't checked it out yet) there's no new extras, I really doubt they'll be anything if much to this boxset. As for the 14 discs, its obviously 7 4k discs and 7 blu ray discs, I'll eat my words if they put any effort into the discs though. If this was a boxset released by a boutique label, like the Friday the 13th Shout Factory, I'd pay all sorts of ridiculous money, especially with Fvj and the Remake (and maybe even Freddy's Nightmares), but I have no expectation it'll be anything other than a cheap cash grab update. But for all you fans that need the series all on 4k, I hope the price is worth it and you'll be content with just an update and nice steelbook art, if they don't do anything but the bare minimum.
I don't have a 4K player but I'm debating on getting one. If I do, I'm adding these to our collection. And I'd love to see Freddy's Dead in 3d. I have Friday 3d with glasses so this one would be fun to see. I'm a sucker for 3d
If they stack discs I'll get the regular release. Stacked discs upset me greatly! If the collection has a steelbook for each film in a set then the high price tag is justified!
They used the REMAKE GLOVE on the cover of the part 1 4k? That's insulting. They might as well have put the glove on his left hand and add a nail to his thumb. There is so much awesome footage and still pictures from part 1 that they could've used for artwork. It's beyond lazy. They just don't care.
Unless it comes with new features and unrated cuts of multiple movies with never before seen footage put back in certain ones then it isn't really worth it not for that price. If there's no new features and no new Unrated Cuts of the films then it's pointless. Bluray looks good enough to the point 4K isn't a big enough upgrade to make that steep price worth it.
I was JUST about to buy the blu-ray nightmare pack, super glad to hear there's a 4K release on the way!!

I feel like Beetlejuice right now “eeeeeee” 😂
Definitely pre- ordering! However, I'll wait until more details and cover are released
I'm praying for a "The making of" discs of the films.

I'm so excited!!!! Definitely pre-ordering!!😊
I'm Excited!!!!!
So bizarre that the U.K. was one of the only markets to get the 3D of Freddy’s Dead at home.
I used to have that on VHS and the last 10 minutes of the 3D part made my eyes ache, especially watching it without the glasses
I have the 3d version it came with the 1999 DVD Collection.
CHH❤ the final boss of Horror film collectors
I'll wait till I see it in store.

I got my preorder in!!
It's 14 discs because it's 7 movies and it's 4K and Blu-ray. No bonus disc at all. Hopefully the movie discs have a lot of new stuff on them.
Pretty sure December is a place holder from the website, from the leaked WB release schedule I think it had it in September so a little earlier 👀 🤞🏻

I saw Freddy’s Dead in 3D in theaters back in the day. Even though it’s cheesy, I still thought it was rad (the 3D fx)
Arrow might be releasing Freddy Vs Jason because they've licensed the New Line Jason films for 4K this year.
I’ve never clicked on a video faster 😍
Still waiting on an uncut version of The Dream Child.
good news, I liked the first three
Merry Freddy Xmas!!! 🎄
Not sure about why no remake, but I think there’s no Freddy vs Jason cause of it being included in at least 2 Friday the 13th box sets.
Because Arrow are gunna do Freddy vs Jason in 4K that's why
They never included the remake or FvJ in their previous boxsets.....
I just checked Zavvi and it’s 339$ Canadian for me 😮
I'd only buy it if they fixed the audio during Tina's death spalsh down...
Wait you guys don't have it. I found it in my hmv???
About time

the listing has it as 7 individual steelbooks in a case but I guess that could change
@@ms.carriage6867 If that's true I'M SOLD!
@@TheNewBloodDan everything so far says 7 steelbooks in a steel case :D
@@ms.carriage6867 I know what I'm spending my tax returns on!
Cant wait to watch the Masterpiece Freddys Dead in 4K Ultra HD 😂
14 discs. 7 4k discs and 7 blu ray discs? hope not
It clearly is that, most likely with the same extras since the dvd era in the early 2000's.
Pre-ordered from Zavvi, despite the steep $400 price tag us Aussies have to pay. I'm perfectly fine with not having the remake as its complete trash.
Yeah..... no thanks, not at $380. I'll wait a couple years for the price to drop significantly. I will continue enjoying the Blu-ray box set.
