This game is so great. I started with Nocturne, then SJ, and eventually tried out SMT 1. IV definitely seems to bring the best of all three games. This is the first RPG to really hook me in in quite a while

i would say Medusa is a bit harder, but at the same time when you fight her, you pretty much already have learned about equipment and weaknesses, also saving Timothy mission reward gives you a null Bind ring, which is a pretty big help. And if you are doing a Dx build, hope you have media and buff skills, cuz u wont be able to do much in that fight lol.

I beat him by spamming buffs all around my team and then eating his charged up labry's attack and criticals...(must have been on the verge of death thanks to lucky criticals to him) but a tank team doesn't seem as fun as this... Have you tried fusing any demons with Bufu skills? He's weak to ice and you'll get extra turns for exploiting said weakness. Grinding is fine and all, but if you try to brute force your way through grinding only, it won't end well.

Got Isabeau, still died. went grinding, got Walter, died. Tried again with Isabeau, managed to kill him.

In the first mid-battle conversation, the top choice is a stat decrease for you. the second one and middle choice gives Minotaur a stat increase.

Level 33 is when you can fuse him omega. He is a special fusion and requires 3 demons.
