I never heard of this Tcg before but I stopped at an LGS today and the shiny box for AL caught my attention. I bought two packs and WOW the art is gorgeous. I want to get into this game now but wow the price of Alpha and Beta boxes make it where it’s really expensive to get in…
Buy singles for sure. You can still get ALOT of the lower rarity alpha for decent prices, and beta is definitely still affordable. I believe Team Covenant has beta boxes for msrp but I haven't checked in a while. Good luck and welcome to the beautiful world of Sorcery !

The Arthurian Legends box is a piece of art all by itself! ❤️ Every piece of art in Sorcery is hand painted and every card is truly full art, since the game doesn't have borders on the card, and when you get a foil card (which is the most beautiful foil) the back of the card is the full art without the text. The game itself is also a breath of fresh air and fun! You should be able to find Beta for a decent prize, as the company just released a limited reprint of Beta to allow new players to get into the game, in the US Team Covenant is selling the Beta boxes at $150 at MSRP and several places around Europe are starting to received their Beta boxes and you can pick it up for the original price of 150€. There is no need for a player to buy Alpha as the Beta set is exactly the same except for one card and some minor changes. If you enjoy playing online the official Sorcery game can be played for free on Tabletop Simulator, where you can play Sorcery both Constructed, draft, and sealed, and in the official Discord there is a channel dedicated to finding player to get a game with. 😉 Thanks for checking out the video!

Oh, completely agree. Jens and I play sealed with the boxes we are not opening on camera, it feels like double value, both getting to open some packs and getting new cards and getting to play limited. To answer your question, i don't have a local Sorcery community, so I am opening boxes specifically to collect a whole non foil playset. I am working to build a local Sorcery community so eventually I'llget into some deck building. Found a few people searching through MTG group postings in my local city. I bought the beta starter decks and am planning to sleeve them up and teach people to play. I'll make a video about that in the near future. I love y'all's Sorcery content and I appreciate everything you're doing for the Sorcery community!
Awesome, we are also trying to collect the full non-foil set, and we are getting close missing 23 Unique cards. It sound slike a great plan, being the community champion is the best way to go about it and if you have enough build handing out 24/12 decks for free to people who are interested using bulk is a really great way to get people into the game. Good video, Just to pull a four waters, it took me 30ish booster boxes and I am still missing uniques I have not pulled yet. This set is much harder to obtain all the non foil uniques. Beta was easier to get a playset

We have had decent luck with the AL boxes that we opened, after 6 boxes we are missing roughly 25-ish cards before we have our full non-foil Arthurian Legends set, and then we have a good deal extra, since we both want to build decks! 😉 Getting all of the true Uniques is definitely a quest, which I think makes sense, since the set is smaller and we have time to collect and don't have to get everything at once (even though it is super tempting).
That Quinton Hoover Wyvern is awesome. Do you know if all the Knights of the Round Table will have gilded editions? To answer your question from an earlier video about the gilded cards, I was told from someone who pulled one that the gilding is not raised but smooth.
Absolutely agree, the Hoover Wyvern is exceptional! The current gilded knight, Queen and Holy Grail is the final number, as the artist Elvira has commented that they have all been found. We can't afford the Curios or Gilded cards either, but we still think it is beneficial for people to be able to recognise them and know what to look for if they are lucky enough to pull one in a box, sealed or draft. 😉 It is worth noting that Arthurian Legends is coming in waves, so there is a chance that card prices will drop with some of the next waves and currently a lot of the pricing probably is due to the biggest Sorcery event ever next weekend, where people are picking up cards for their decks the will be playing in the tournaments. Best way to open packs? Playing some rounds of sealed with my son! It gives deck building experience, plus a way to slowly enjoy the boxes and cards!
