Oh Paula, watching you role dice is painful. Remembering Final Girl, lol. So happy too watch it played, see what Ii did there? Can't wait to get my group together to play it. Thank you for posting the game play.
I'm SO happy you played and posted this! I've had this game for years but due to the size of the original box(friggin huge), it's been sitting under a pile of other games on top of a shelf unplayed and forgotten. Might be time face the dangers and go on an adventure to rescue it from its dusty tomb. Will it come off the shelf? Will all the games on top of it fall and scatter pieces everywhere?? Tune in next time to find out!
One thing, unless the game has changed in the re-issue there is supposed to be a villain's turn with three villains being placed on the treasures (one after the other per turn) who race the heroines to the end. Then again it looked like the cards and dice rolls were making it tough enough. Love playing this game with all the supplements. Nearly all the Flying Frog games are fun to play and all are beautifully presented. Recommend A Touch of Evil for the future. And always beware the Crimson Hand.
In a competitive game like they were playing, the villains are an optional addition. It's only in a cooperative game that they are a requirement. EDIT: And just to be clear, villains can show up in a competitive game and compete for a bit trying to get the artifacts as well, but it's a random chance it will happen. It's not like actually playing with a Vile Organization.
@@johannesblank1552 It can be played co op or competitive. In co op, everyone is working against a villian group to get a set number of fortune before the bad guys get it. Competitive is what they were playing. Everyone for themselves and the villains are just another minor obstacle in the game. There is a third mode that combines co op and competitive. I do not recommend it. The idea sounds fun, but in playing it is not a good time.
yes I'm sure there were many accurate maps but this one in particular would not be considered accurate compared to a real, modern-day map. That's what we were laughing about (and this is also called out in the rulebook hehe). There are also many maps, historically and today, that are not accurate in terms of actual landmass - they show some countries/continents as being larger or more "centered" based on who the map is made for.
This game is such a turd. Seriously. I bought it in 2013 right after it came out and it had a cd in the box intended as a sound track. That was the first red flag. It was sophomore year music major midi quality garbo, which I hoped wasn't reflective of the gameplay but unfortunately, the game was even worse. Take the title for example. Fortune and glory. Which of those two do you think wins you the game. Glory? No glory is money. Fortune is points. They try to be edgy by making alt history nazis the enemy, but they forget to make any other part of the game engaging. In the end it all comes down to rolling dice correctly, and by correctly, I mean there is a lean probability on your side. If you dont roll the right number then you lose, nothing you can do will help your chances. Theres no strategy in this game, they just expect you to be impressed by the photo quality art on the cards and the minis. I'd rather play paper rock scissors. Also disappointed in the channel lately, stop playing crap games for ad money.
I'm sorry you feel so negatively about this game and this video and this channel. I had fun playing this with my friends but it certainly is not going to be to everyone's taste. I accept bookings for this series based on if I think my friends and I will have fun playing them, not just to get ad money. You can think I'm a schill or whatever all you want, but I'm just trying to show that games are FUN whether that's through play throughs, live streams, or sketch comedy. If what I'm doing isn't to your taste, that's fine. There are LOTS of other board game channels out there.

a true cliff hanger!
Absolutely here for the Mary Lou chaos.... 😂
This was so fun to watch! That was one of the most entertaining playthroughs I have seen a long time! Thanks for bringing joy to my day.🎉
Wow thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it - I really aim to make these play throughs as fun as possible!

Great fun looks interesting with lots of replay
Oh how I love this game!!!
It's one of the very few thatvI always wanted but never got....unfortunately.
Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!
Yes!!!! 😍🖤🤘🏼
This is my number two favorite game (Firefly will always be number 1) I'm so happy the revised edition is getting people to talk about it again.
Is it truly coop? Semi coop? I don’t quite understand its BGG description.

ooh I also really like Firefly!
Mary Lou just crushing enemies right at the start, dang!
Oooooooooh, pulp themed board game!!! I love eet.
Mary Lou is truly the hero of this story. The protagonist luck is unreal here. Very fun game to watch you all play regardless though.
I cannot believe the luck Mary Lou had during this
"Would you like to discover Nazis in Japan?" - a phrase only possible playing boardgames!
hehehe
Is it EVERY time you roll a 1, you take an event card?
At 17:00, Paula rolled a 1 for her exploration test, but didn't draw event cards.
I think it's just when you roll a 1 for Initiative or Movement
Oh, the city spaces are separate from the land spots so Mary Lou should have cleared up whether she moved into the city or the land
Fun episode but I’m sorry ladies they had very accurate maps in the 1930s and well before.

Why are you on youtube, go play a game!
Me, blinking at my computer, with a game on BGA in an open tab.
