@@PaulaDeming I played a woman who lost to me over 100 times in words with friends. She was so happy the one time we tied. The best part of gaming is the challenge. I kept on playing her because she kept on wanting to win. It was funny. I bet I had more fear of losing after a while… I mean I had the streak. :) Gamers never fear a loss… they always think next time I’ll get you. It was the opposite with me and my brother… I could never beat him in so many things. Felt amazing when I did.
I mean...if it's dicey....how much do I want to take this advice!?!?
@@PaulaDeming Well if you play the remaining 33% all at 4p, then 41% should be the expected win rate! (41.75% to be precise) So a good win rate still? 😅
I've played this just enough to have figured these out already, but it's great to get some validation that I'm on the right track - great video Paula!
I had to rewatch the video to confirm I wasn't going crazy that the stuffed animals were taking over Paula's game shelves.

Wait, how did Paula know I was in one of the worst deluges I've ever seen when I was at the Cincinnati Zoo a few weeks ago? Maybe when she went Super Saiyan on Monday's video she gained some superpowers. Love these videos.

I have not had a chance to play this one yet. Seems like something I'd like but hard to commit to the price.

Ah, good point, I hadn't considered online options. I actually don't like learning games on BGA, I don't find them "tactile" enough for my brain to follow how things work, if that makes sense. However, I did find a nice mod of it on TTS though, which "feels" more like you are using the real game. Now to find the time to dig into it :)

I love Ark so much. It’s one of the least luck based games I’ve seen. If you’re a new player don’t get discouraged if you lose, rather try to analyze what your opponent did better than you.
One tip don’t underrate sponsors; against high ELO players you will always lose if you ignore them.
