i know thredup gets a lot of hate, and i'll admit they do a some... questionable things, but honestly, i really like the site. thrift stores around me rarely have any decent clothes since it's so trendy to go thrift shopping, especially in my area. some more tips i have- know what you like/what you're looking for. if you don't know what style/fit of clothes you like/want, it's gonna be hard for you to find something you really like (i know from experience). also, when you find clothes you love the fit of, and when you find clothes with a fit you really don't like, study their pictures on the sight! this has helped me a lot, so now i'm very good at spotting clothes that i'll like the fit of with very good accuracy. i also sort clothes from price- low to high, and when clothes start hitting a price i don't like, i switch to looking for something else (for example, i don't want to pay more than around $7 for a plain t shirt).

Heyyyy. I have a couple questions. :) thank you so much for this video! So with sizing, I'm having a hard time with measurements. My bust across the fullest part of my chest is 36. They show they measure armpit to armpit. Do i use my bust measurement? Also, a lot of the time I'm looking for shirts, the size chart shows id fit it but then the chest measurement is so off.
Good tips. But the outlet does not show up on my screen, tried a android phone and my iPad. I also find searching very difficult on there. I was searching for a skort and all kind of random things would pop up.
Only when I tried to use the filter that’s when random things would pop up. Actually I think it just got rid of my search and the whole store would come up. If that makes any sense.

I do find that sometimes items are not categories correctly on the app. If possible, I would suggest browsing on a laptop or computer if you have one accessible to you, that might make your search a little easier! I just searched for skorts in new condition or like-new condition for ya on my laptop and it looked like only skorts were being shown, so hopefully that will work better for you. What I’ll do is I take a screenshot of the item, then go to Google lens. That way I often get to see more pictures of the item! Maybe on a model.

I would say ThredUp is best for "designer" finds.
