The rest of the Mega Man series doesn't happen.

I definitely wouldn't put this game among my top 10 favorite platformers, but I must say, there is a certain charm to it. The levels are just big enough that you can explore, and smashing crap up and collecting money is quite satisfying.

In Talmit's Adventure the first boss fight (and only that one) is also RPS but the winner just has the chance to attack his opponent, who can defend himself, it's a much better version, you depend on your reflexes, having bad luck just means that you will attack less often.
The fact that the game is nearly always referred to as "Rock, Paper, Scissors" but the characters here say "Paper, Rock, Scissors" is personally annoying to me. And I remember playing this game but never being able to complete it because of Alex's one-hit status and those luck-based battles! About the only other thing I remember is the first level music probably becausd I was there much too often.
If you want to play a non-luck based Alex Kidd game, go for Shinobi World. I don't even know why i recommend it, it may be just for Nostalgia, because my first console was a Master System and my first game was Shinobi World. Also, Tornado-morphing Pizza-eating Ninjas.

Why are RPS games violent in japan version of alex kidd? I mean, they just made textures of chararacters without clothes to show when a character loses an RPS round instead of making it so that losing RPS will cause the loser to get smashed by an anvil (like in the original version).

The only Alex Kidd game I can think of where you ride a bike is Alex Kidd BMX Trial, but Miracle World and Enchanted Castle are the only games in the series that contain Rock Paper Scissors games...

Maybe the bike part was just a special level or so. I just played it once ... still remember ;)

Why are RPS games violent in japan version of alex kidd? I mean, they just made textures of chararacters without clothes to show when a character loses an RPS round instead of making it so that losing RPS will cause the loser to get smashed by an anvil (like in the original version).
Surely the japanese version is the original and the anvils is american censorship? Good old american "violence is better than nudity".
Oh my goodness. That has to be one of the most sensory depriving games of all time. This episode seems like something a toned down AVGN would do. With that aside, thanks for showing what this game is about. I lost brain cells watching this episode, I can only imagine how many you lost playing this game lol.

A game with luck based Rochambeau bosses sounds like a recipe for disaster. Like most games it has some great music. And Japan with those dirty secrets, seems tame enough for a goofy game like this.
