- The Amaze looks like a mid side sedan and not a compact sedan as its dimensions suggest. But that's not all, the car also comes with a roomy back seat and choice of CVT automatics on the petrol as well as diesel versions.
Here is my video review.
This is the only budget c-sedan with a coupe shaped body which you see only in higher level cars... Honda has taken this league to another level. :)
This isn't a c segment sedan it's in the B segment.
@@yoaashay Please go and brush your knowledge up before giving out free tips on YT. All small sedans and compact sedans are C segment. B segment is for premium hatchbacks.
@@s.d.3656 segments are decided by their size. C segment would consist of City, Ciaz, Virtus, Slavia, etc and B segment is for all sub 4m sedans. And D segment consists of Octavia and Corolla, and so on.

I recently had an opportunity to be driven in the CVT model of this car...the rear seats are comfy and spacious. The noise insulation and suspension is also pretty good in city conditions....in addition, the CVT variant comes with paddle shifters !!! The reviewer missed this brownie point ...

When test drove this car, i was not sure whether engine is on or not even after proper cranking, Honda is pioneers in petrol engine technology.

In the top variant Honda should provide ac vent, hand rest, glass holder, 2 light on roof, nice head light throw, last seats adjusted headrest.

Even in petrol its sluggish, on cng will be more so.

Mujhe Gujarat me Ford Figo Automatic (top model - demo car, 950 km driven) 7.75 lacs me mil rahi hai aur ford aspire top end model Titanium plus diesel varient 12500 km driven (again same showroom demo piece) mil raha hai, mera stretch budget 8.5-9 lacs hai, kya mujhe inme se koi consider karna chahiye ya fir Amaze CVT petrol ya i20 sportz IVT (9.35 lacs) ya Glanza Automatic (9.1 lacs) me se koi uthani chahiye? Hi....Ashishji...I am planning to buya suv but unable to decide between Harrier XZA plus and Creta SXO diesel AT.
Though I have almost decided to go for harrier, I am a bit skeptical due to the fact that there seem to be lot of glitches in Harrier software and after sales support also doesn't seem to be good. Also maintenance seems to be very high vis-a-vis Creta diesel..
Though I am ok with the maintenance expenditure, but I feel that Harrier few years down the lane might become problematic... Kindly suggest considering a safer bet.

The way express highways are coming up in our country, cruise control is a must have in top end variants. Omitting cruise control in top end cvt is such a miss from Honda. Why would a top end model buyer will restrain paying extra for a convenient feature like CC in a cvt top end. Also considering honda omitted less good features like leather upholstery and leather steering in top end. Either honda might bring an zx variant in future or else customer look for other products.

I’ve always thought like this when they mention rear headroom in a sedan for tall people - Practical suggestion - If you’re 6’4” and require tons of headroom at the rear, take the bus.. 🤣🤣🤣 Just kidding !!! Sir, need a help.
I booked a honda amaze vx in trivandrum on 25th June. The dealer has assured me to deliver the car by mid July, then in mid July they told me about the new facelift and told me that by mid August I will have the car, they kept postponing the date and till date the I am waiting.
Yesterday I received a mail from them asking me to make full payment, the car is in transit and if I don't pay the delivery will be further delayed.
The car is not available with them, I have not seen it, they aren't sure of the delivery. What should I do, please advice
You 1st need to do pdi right then only at the time of delhivery you can make full payment, and also at the delhivery time you can again do a pdi for any scratches. I think that is the best way

Petrol CVT or Diesel CVT which is good , I have city use & interstate (600+Km once side) on every 2-3 months.
I have used 2018 i20 Elite CVT petrol but Amaze petrol CVT I felt very lighter that i20 in driving. As I have long highway drive, Is it the Diesel CVT better in performance?

I purchased the new HA V1 in 2018 a CVT petrol VX trim. After seeing your video, I believe all the 2018 customers got a lemon.
No front lights for the driver and front passenger seats, no audio commands, no Apple car play, no projector head lamp, no rear LED lights, no arm rest, CVT does not have cruise control. Pathetic actually.
They are giving all this in the new HA V2 upgrade.
Certainly not expected from Honda in the V1 version. Feel terribly cheated for 9.5 lakh.
