  • These Ryobi cordless backpack sprayer works great. It's better to strain any material before feeling it up. I use the strainer under the lid and it still got clogged. So far I have sprayed about 15 full tanks and it's still working great.

The filter on the pickup line for this sprayer is incredibly small. One or two small bits of debris or undissolved chemistry is enough to block it.

Yes it is. I stay away from dissolved pallets. But it is very important too clean the pump every time you use it and drain it during winter

Hello, love the video, how did you change the spray gun to the one you have? What parts did you use and where could I Buy them? I’m trying to do the same to mine

Hi Nick. Thanks for watching, I got all the parts at my local tractor supplies I just use the regular air compressor hose couplings, I also got the low pressure spray wand from the same store.

Sadly, after spraying Neem Oil, it has a waxy substance that goes through the filter and seems to have clogged the inner workings of the motor. I don't know if there's a chemical I could flush through the system to break down the waxy substance or not.

I hate this Ryobi sprayer. Brand new, I filled it once and clogged immediately. My boss needs to buy Stihl.

It's already 2023 and I'm still using it with no problem. I love it. Ryobi it is an friendly budget brand but they do make some nice tools. Sometimes it's not the tool, some people just don't want to work or don't know how to clean or take care of tools.

How could you tell it was clogged? I went to use mine for the second time today and when I put the battery in it made like 1 second of pump noise then stopped

Hi. Yes mine stopped too, I empty the tank and rinse it and I pull out the line the was at the bottom and I was able to pull off the filter strainer and that's when I noticed it was clogged.

I remove the little filter on the house and poke through the holes with a small wire and rinse it with hot water

Same thing happened to me. Just remove the hose and back flush it with water to clear the mouth of the filter.
