    Very helpful - my priming took a good 5 minutes. I had to have the pump on a table and sprayer nozzle on the floor with the lid off.

    It would be good to know what the updated output speed is with the 40 V model. The old 18 V model only outputs 1 gallon per 300 seconds (T-jet fan and the included knock-off T-jet), which for me is a half-step slow walking speed. If this new model rivals the Flowzone at 90 seconds, this could still be a good value.

    I work In the pest control industry in Texas. I use a ryobi 18 volt and the batter lasts me nearly all week. I do commercial building. I tied the 40 volt one day and the battery seem to die on me pretty fast? How long does this battery last?

      I just sprayed entire yard front and back for mosquitoes, then sprayed fence (800 ft) with bleach. Then sprayed for weeds, a 4ah battery was used, and by the end it only dropped by one bar.

      @mgrantmiller awesome 👍that you're from Texas! I run a thriving lawn care co. in Brownsville/ Rancho Viejo..to my point lol... I definitely prefer the 18V vs the 40v. I've had both and hands down the 18V sprays 5 full tanks, while the 40V about 4 tanks. But pretty cool residential product tho!

    I just got one yesterday and it's making an awful high pitch noise if you don't have the pressure near max. The noise happens even when not sprayer. Do you have a high pitch noise constantly?

      @@grassfedlives high pitched, it makes the same sound during some normal operation like priming but should shut off when primed however it doesn't, it just keeps whining.

      @@rza49311 man, that is very interesting. Mine hasn’t done that ,but , the hose on my backpack did happen to burst ( near the base) and after calling the 1-800 number, they sent me to a nearby location to fix it- free of charge. They just ended up calling Ryobi and replaced me with a brand new backpack sprayer. Just DONT leave a battery with them!

    Is the wand long enough to spot spray weeds on the ground without bending over?

    • @SuperRobkar
      @SuperRobkar  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sure is. You should have no issues unless you are 10ft tall.

    Thanks for your thorough review. Trying to decide between this and a FlowZone sprayer. Like you, I have some 40V Ryobi tools already so it would be convenient and less costly with the Ryobi sprayer. But Home Depot provides no clear information on spraying distance, which is important as I want to use it to reach the peaks of our 2-1/2 story house to spray for wasps. A couple of questions: 1. Do you recommend the Ryobi now that you've had it for a while? 2. I couldn't tell from your video, but it appeared that you got a pretty good distance using the adjustable nozzle. What would you estimate the max distance to be, and do you think this could hit an area ~25-30 ft. up? Thanks in advance.

    • @SuperRobkar
      @SuperRobkar  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I would say the max distance is about 20 ft. I still use the sprayer, havent had any issues with it as of yet.

    How's it holding up? Im considering asking my boss to get one for us to use. I work at a condo so as you can imagine, theres tons of that green stuff all around the building in various spots, i spent a week with a 2 gallon pump sprayer and maybe got half of the building.. i just happened to be browsing their website (looking for a higher amp hour battery or my mower)

      I’d prob buy their sprayer for that job, but if thinned enough, I’m sure this backpack sprayer would be able to spray it, but I’d be worried about damaging the seals

    I’m planning on buying a backpack sprayer to spray my roof with bleach from a ladder. Unfortunately no one seems to be able to state an approximate distance it can actually spray. Would it know? I just need a rough estimate.

    • @SuperRobkar

      Thank you, much appreciated. I need about that amount. I live in Kurtistown on the Big Island of Hawaii where it rains frequently so the metal roof gets kind of funky after 3 years. It cost me over $500 to get it clean, but I can spray it with bleach every 6 months or so, it’ll keep it nice and clean. 😊

    • @darrylperry6029
