Hey Anthony, Love the video! I wanted to see how I can become an APM without a degree? I am currently a technical project manager but can't seem to land an APM role, let alone get an interview.

    Nice video, thanks for sharing!
Quick question: do you see any differences in responsibility and day-to-day tasks between an associate product manager and an associate product owner? (I know the wording product owner comes from scrum)

Hey Ann-Christin - thank you for watching! There's definitely some crossover but generally, APMs focus on product strategy, vision, and market positioning, handling tasks like user research, roadmap creation, and feature prioritization. APOs, within Agile frameworks like Scrum, manage product backlogs, sprint planning, and collaborate with engineering teams on user stories. Main difference: APMs focus on product strategy, while APOs focus on the agile development execution. With that being said, every company is different - a lot of the time companies just have APMs who also handle sprint planning/management. I hope that helps!
