Definitely an important advice . If you want to drive fast you should really anticipate what is going on ahead of your vehicle and not just the vehicle in front of you.
My driving instructor never really taught me that😒

uncle YS, nice drive. Question - did you notice whether the temp went up when you reach the top? If so, how much? oil and coolant temp?
It was okay - this was an auto, not DCT, so is not so sensitive. Besides, I was not going too fast and furious.
Also, I did slow down between the two stages to cool things down.
You know there’s a storage hole for the filler cap that’s designed to stop it just dangling against the paintwork, right ?

Uncle YS, good driver and this should be the way to drive fast yet safe if want to play on these road.
On the tires, if this car is on the PS4 ZP RFT, i think the grip level is lower than ASY5 , with the rft structure the grip i feel is lower than normal tires.
i usually run with traction control totally off ( is more natural to drive it and car rotate better) , i think it should be able to turn off ( prefacelift model ) press long long till DSC Deactivated. it will be turn off if the facelift model cannot turn off completely off. i also feels that this car the Sport+ throttle respond is too sensitive creating sudden jerkiness when on /off throttle but maybe is im not used to it yet.
The throttle response is okay by me. I tried all the usual ways to turn off ESC and Traction, but it wouldnt work, so it could be faulty. I also held for a long time, also couldnt turn it off.

Looking at the dashcam, it seems the car vibration is greatly felt as compared to your other videos.
Any idea is it the combination of the suspension setup & the tyres offered under sports?
It doesn't seem like a comfortable ride as the suspension are not absorbing well.
The ride was okay by me.
Uncle YS, hows the LCI performance n drive compare to 330i non LCI? I remember watching your videon on the non LCI ones years ago and dont look like got much difference in performance. Even the sound is the same. But new LCI cost a lot more now. :(
Basically the cars are about the same.
LCI = Lan C Image. Means its just bodykits and wheels. 😁

How do you like the msport suspension? In some contries we can not order adaptive suspension for 3.20i, and its the only choice for sedan version
This test car is the 330i. 320i runs standard suspension I think. It is softer. The MSport suspension is stiffee
İ am in Turkey, the cars are different.. here 3.20i msport is a 1.6liter petrol engine with 170hp and 250nm torgue... and its the only model available for this facelift lci... the 2022 ones came with adaptive, but this year these cars are equipped with msport suspension... i bought this car wothout knowing this issue, after i bought lt the dealer apologized for the mistake.. i didnt return the car back which was an option given to me.. i havent used the car much, just around 1.000 km on the clock... i wonder what would you do simply give the car back or keep it with thls stiff firm m suspension :)

this is off topic, can you review what is the problem of the honda civic that crash on the genting route recently?
I think it was driver error: he had go give room to the car in his left, so he was off line; entry speed was too high. Only my opinion.
Uncle YS, with this car assuming with DSC and traction control on, what would your recommended max speed that is safe to do corner in highway?
It depends on the corner, the weather, the time of day, and your skills, not to mention the car and tyre condition.
Uncle YS, why use 95 gas? I would imagine 97 would provide more power for this hill climb... Great video!
Because...min fuel required for B48 engine is RON95?
95 is what the car is rated for. And the BHPetrol RON95 fuel is good enough to deliver the full power.

Hello! Uncle Khong i want to ask in your opinion which 1 handling better between this bmw 330i Msport lci and honda Fk8 type R ?
They are different in build. One is RWD, one is FWD - the FK8R has about 50 horses more and is a manual. If I had a choice the FK8R would be my weekend car, and the 330i my daily.
Uncle YS what the comparison with Volvo S60 T8 PE?
The Volvo top speed is electronically capped at 180k - on the hill climb, it would be okay but on the highway, you will be left behind. Otherwise, it is a great car.

The GTi is FWD, versus this one which is RWD. It all boils down to which drive train you prefer.
I found both cars to be just as engaging to drive so if I have to choose between the two, I would want both. 🤣
How do you compare the handling with the m340i
M340i is another level up. And much more power.
Uncle YS, does RON97 gives an extra performance over RON95?
Not if the car is tuned for RON95. Some independant tuners do tweak the ECU to run RON97, and the power is increased; this car in the video is a stock stsndard car, so there is no real need to go 97. Cost of RON95 is much cheaper too. BHPetrol's RON95 is the best, been using it for a ling time.

How is this compare to the G20 you drove previously?
I cannot remember the previous G20 because it was so long ago. But as you can see from the video, this one was quite impressive in handling.

how does it compare with the arteon in terms of stability and agility? and maybe even better, how do this 3 series compares to the A5 and then A5 to the arteon? i like the looks of the arteon more, but it's a simpler car, technically. does it feel that way?
The Arteon and A5 are AWD. The 330i is RWD. Two different driving sensations.

I suppose you mean looking ahead? If you look ahead, you will see what I see. Many drivers do not do it, and get into trouble.
Good driving uses all the senses. All people can drive fast: only the best drive well.
Did you try holding down the button longer to turn it off? It's a long press until it shows up on the cluster

How's the drive compared with pre-lci 330i?
I drove the previous G20 too, but it was a long time ago, and under different conditions, but I think they would be quite close. Cannot remember if that one was the MSport or not.
i guest steering hand position at 2-10 is because they didn't have power steering back in the old days.

I have driven a slightly modded F30 330i up, about 3 years ago - it was great also. I am okay with either.
Compared to arteon, which one better?
Both are different from each other. Arteon is awd and has a bit more power so it is between 330i and 340i

price..which is deal breaker for some. not everybody drive like maniac. some people never overtake for his entire life. that extra horsepower is useless for them
Apart from the blue calipers, M Adaptive suspension, higher engine state of tune, 10 speakers, option of Mocha leather seats…36K price difference, the ‘30i and ‘20i are by far and large the same

I can tell how stiff this suspension is from the shaky camera. It is a wise move by BMW Malaysia to introduce adaptive suspension with it from March onwards. Now I am in dilemma to decide whether to pick this or the Arteon.
Hahaha, they are different vehicles. The Arteon is more like the 340i, but not as powerful. Two different driving experiences. Try one
