The Chinese have finally begun to make something stronger than glass
Looks that way, although the front shock towers are quite week, we just didnt land on them 😂, they now come with ticker ones
try ordering a company LC racing. many people in Ukraine ride them. it will be interesting to see the quality after hard bashing
@@Rc_cars LC racing is what the Wltoys, Eachine, Rlaarlo cars are all based from. LC are far better quality than the clones, but not a car i would go out and buy as have no real use for it

Every single RC motor, esc, servo, receiver and nearly ever chassis is made in china…nearly every single piece of equipment used in the hobby comes from china
Another great video Dave, most of all entertaining and informative- defo but on the dear side at £165 (199 dollars). It did take a lot of abuse and at least the chassis was intact.
Thanks Jim, the front shock tower is a weak area, seen a few break and they now come with thicker towers. the carbon is nice, but its just to expensive in my opinion when it is in essence a wltoys 144001 / 144010

Beleive they are going to be releasing 1/12 versions soon, not sure it will be carbon though
I do love the carbon and some of the cool quality stuff on these buggies, bit if it's price to performance, you can't really go past the MJX Hyper Go at the moment. Great video mate!
Thanks, yeah i do like the carbon etc, but the price is just to high versus what else you can get, and as you say the Hyper Go, whilst smaller at 1:16 is a little beast in brushless form.

Wow that did take ages to get through customs, so strange that some go through and some didn't. Have turned ours into a speed car now, just need to find somewhere to run it 😂😂

The car is based on the wltoys 144010 which is much cheaper and a little tougher, plus parts easier to get. depends what sort of car you want though, if happy with 16th scale and just want a very durable basher then it has to be the MJX Hyper go which is currently on flash sale as well: www.banggood.com/custlink/3K3WCyWmad here is the video of it: th-cam.com/video/ROz73zAuj2I/w-d-xo.html

Out of the the Rlaarlo cars this does seem to be the best value in that its brushless and the carbon parts, however bear in mind its the same as a WLtoys 140010 which is a fair bit cheaper

Hey there can i put any controller and reciever on the buggy i just bought it i want to put the Traxxas TQi 2.4GHz Radio System New in Box 6509R for Maxx, Slash, Rustler, Revo... will it work?.. and awesome video great job i suscribed! 😁
Thanks for the sub, the car comes with a two in 1 ESC and receiver, so yes you can put your own receiver on but would also have to change the ESC

@@BYRONCASTILLO1 Normally on a RC you have receiver, ESC, Servo and Motor. On this car the reciver and ESC are all in one unit, so if you dont use their receiver you also need to change the ESC.

Why do people hate Tamika connectors?
Tamiya connectors ? because they can handle much amperage before they melt, they are ok on 7.2v NiMh but try running them with a brushless motor on 3s and they will melt

Not sure how you could bash it that hard. All the parts hold up(except something goin on with the pinion) and then not recommend it.
We bash it that hard to see how durable it is, so others dont have to worry if a Chinese car is worth getting or not. If you j had watched the video you will see we said its a good car but dont recommend it as the price is too high, nothing wrong with the actual car but you can get just as good for less, thats our opinion and still is, I'm not here just to tell people to buy something to earn the commission, we will always be honest with our viewers

We were hoping to be able to do well in the speed run comp, but just dont have the roads or space, plus it didnt help that this bash was the Sunday when round 2 started 😂😂 so i had a car with busted servo, bent drive shaft, 4 bent shocks, the motor shaft had bent as well, so no motor.
Manage to cobble together bits and put 3.5t drag motor in on 2s, but just didnt have the room to fully exploit it, it needs more than 200 meters to hit speed and break in time 😂😂😂😂

Which one should I go for between X-maxx vs Losi 2.0 DBXLE?
My requirement is should be fun and speedy and durable

Both different trucks really, but both good. The DBXLE 2.0 is more of a ground small jump basher, it is quite heavy and parts do cost more than the Xmaxx. Xmaxx is just a durable skate park beast but doesn't handle round corners etc like the Losi would. So it would really come down to what you want to do with the car

Some parts are the same, although Rlaarlo have their own hubs that take different size bearings and CVD's
that gear is it mod 1???
Not mod 1, its like mod 0.7 that WLtoys use, however we have done the mod1 conversion now
Hello, did you use another pinion or stock as your new motor is slightly more to the right. If so what pinion size? thanx
Used the stock pinion. the way these cars are there is only certain sizes you can use as the motor mounts have fixed mesh. However as you saw in the video the mount that came with the car has smaller mounting holes so for this motor you do need the mount with the wider mounting holes You can get a adjustable mesh mount and then also changed to mod 1 gears using a little hack.
@@HardcoreRC so the holes from the stock motor mount are on the same axe as the bigger holes from the new motor mount ? Basically the shafts of the small and bigger motor are in the same position enabling you to use the same stock pinion.
@@luccrouset1675 Correct - basically they only do a few motor mount options, but as the other mount was straight out a Wltoys 1240 car they use the same size pinion, 27 tooth from memory.
@@HardcoreRC what is the size of motor shaft 5mm or 3.175 mm ? Basically the stock and new engine needs the same if stock pinion goes back on.

I had the brushed version it suck I want to get the Brushless version
I would just get the Wltoys 144010 or the Eachine EAT14 instead, same car and cheaper
@@HardcoreRC To be fair it is faster than the wltoys and eachine but it's more expensive and I don't think the speed increase is worth the extra money, I think I'd agree with you and get the wltoys but not the 144010,I'd go for the cheaper brushed 144001 and put my own brushless electrics in

How can you say better out there for cheaper when the car wasn't intended to be a basher to begin with ? Honestly it's a great first car for most people , and this video makes it seem like it's the worst car to buy
Didn't say it was a bad car, i said it was over priced, when this video was made the car was $199 you could get WLtoys version, which is actually slightly better, for half the price. Certain spares are a pain and can only get from Rlaarlo at again a high price. It is most definitely not a great first car for most people, that would be something like the MJX Hyper Go

@@matthewthomas2700 Not true, i would say the WLtoys is actually superior in quality and parts availability, the actual price of the Rlaarlo has dropped from $199 to $149 which is a much fairer price, it was just far to expensive at $199.
Its not even full carbon, but a composite with carbon veneer

Its quite thin, but did seem to hold up, really want to do a chassis breaker landing to really test it, but just didnt manage it, kept missing the mark 😂😂
