    Hi this video is so helpful thank you. I just wanted to ask if you think its worth applying for nursing without any healthcare related job experience - i have a part time waitressing job but thats about it.

      Thank you Celine, yes it is definitely worth applying and any work in customer service like waitressing is great. You'll have lots of transferable skills e.g. communicating with a range of people from different background, dealing with challenges and working under pressure. As long as you get across why you want to be a nurse & do some background research. Watch my video on preparing for University Nursing Degree Interview that may help. If you apply for an apprenticeship they may stipulate prior experience in healthcare, like nursing assistant, but Unis don't usually for pre-reg level 6 nursing degree to become a registered nurse. If you are unsure whether to commit to nursing it is worth getting a healthcare assistant role though, even for just a few months so you know. Wishing you the best with your application. 😊🍀
