Lots of pipes today! There’s the Redcliffe pipe too, which is a mediaeval conduit from the springs in Knowle to where St John Baptist hospital was in Redcliffe. I don’t know if any of that is accessible but it’s another excuse to come back to Bristol 🤣
Is the Raven conduit part of the Temple pipe which runs from the Totterdown springs to Temple Street? Looking at a map I think it could be?

I don't need excuses to get myself up to Bristol 😆 I'm gonna be back up at some point with my waders to go exploring some of the underground parts of the River Frome.
The Redcliffe pipes will make a good video, even if I can't get underground.
Aye, the Raven's Well tunnel is part and parcel of the Temple Conduit from Totterdown. That shaft I looked up is underneath that three finger signpost on the main road

Might want to go in the way you exited because otherwise it is indeed the hands and knees job. Looks like a very interesting network of tunnels. I did see the previous video. Yeah I'm up for coming at a time that's suitable Dave.

The other way isn't even a hands and knees job, it's a wriggle in on your back job lol. Defo gotta sort out a day when I can get you there and show you around. There's one part where the water's almost waist high; I'd definitely recommend waders if you want to avoid getting a bit soggy.
