I love this setup! Elevates this game to another level.
Thanks for the kind words! - Jim
I like that little template / holder that you have!

This is awesome.
Thank you!
Awesome. I just got this game a few days ago and started last night. This video showed me a lot. Thanks
Welcome!
It's been a while since you've played 4AD! Good to see it back on your radar.
Yeah, I'm enjoying playing it again.
Maybe you should mark that the +1 mace for the Rogue is a magical mace . It might be important in the future being a magical weapon.
Good idea!
a 1 is always a miss, no matter how many modifiers.
This is for Defense rolls only. Not sure if that's what you meant. For attacks, a 1 can be modified.
Are the character cards a downloadable thing or did you make those? I just picked this game up too, haven't had a chance to get into it, so thanks for these videos. They really help!
They're just digital cards I made myself so I could put up on the screen.
Since you do a lot of solo dungeon delving videos like this, you should look into the game Random Quest: Dungeon Delve.
Or Grotten.
I wonder what kind of app you are using on the tablet with the charactersheets?
It's called GoodNotes. You create notebooks and insert pages into them. I have a notebook for each solo game I play.
Set up is great. where did you get the board?
I made it. www.etsy.com/listing/1752227409/4ad-game-board-solo-dungeon-game-aid
Seeing this game played it is much lighter on rules than you think it is when you gloss over the rules. I guess it really is true that the rulebook is badly written and needs a second edition that is more structured. I'm gonna give this a go during vacation
I definitely found that some rules are found in odd places and paging around as you learn the game cannot make your head spin. Last I heard there is a 2nd edition on the way, possibly incorporating some of the supplements.
