@@leomessi3603 It is you who are a fool to think that the BJP lost the Bengal election due to Covid even after it spent ten times more than the TMC and the other parties combined in the election. Actually most media today are BJP sympathizers which includes the TOI which gave out the news regarding the expenditure.
The current BJP government literally wasted Billions of Dollars in a statue with which the government could have eradicated hunger and build enough health infrastructure in the country. This shows how short sighted is the BJP government.

When talking about Kerala model, especially on social indicators, what most people don't understand is that in the state more people depend on private sector for healthcare and education. The remittances from expatriates in addition to keeping the state's economy afloat has also produced large number of private healthcare and education institutions from clinics to schools. And of course there are the communists to take credit for all the achievements of the private sector.

If we take scholls according to last year's report more people study in government schools than in private schools
And also the same in hospitals too
In every panchayath u will have one govt school and hospital or family Healthcare centre
As a keralite I can assure u that
And as a keralite I studied in a govt school...and even today If I fall ill we go to government hospitals first

@@kailas6111 For the past couple of decades the private schools were having more students than government schools. Many government schools were closed on account of lack of students. The poor quality of govt schools was undisputed. In the last five years, the communist govt has taken huge amounts of loans and improved the infrastructure of the government schools leading to an increase in students joining them. Now who has more students might depend on where you put the third option, which is private aided schools - privately run schools but with the salaries of the teaching staff taken care of by the govt.
Regarding hospitals, I don't know where you live. But in the town I am from, there are four private hospitals and one govt hospital. Granted that the single govt hospital is busy as it is depended on by the poorer sections. But the four private hospitals have more beds and accommodate more patients. Then there are a few primary health centers, which have a doctor checking patients. But there are between one to two dozen private doctors checking patients from their clinics.
As I said, it might depend on the place. There might be some places where there is no good private hospital and people have to depend on govt hospital, but most places have private hospitals and people prefer them.

Being so literate many lakhs of Malyalis in Bangalore work in bakeries. This is such a bad state. The Keralites future is controlled by neighbouring states like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu because if these states implement 75% reservations in private jobs then they will have to go somewhere else. And if the Gulf dream turns upside down then Keralites future is very bleak. I want to work in a state like Kerala if they promise good jobs and environment for career prospects but Keralites are very unwelcoming as a whole.

Is it a crime to work in Bangalore. Millions of Indians que in front of western embassies trying to ship themselves out . Most of these migrants are from the so called industrialised states only , why are they migrating . In fact one of the biggest immigrant community in the US are the gujjus . So migration is only a problem if ethnically he is a Malayali. These days most Malayalis are migrating to west ( aus/NZ/ Canada) . I don’t see anybody going to north or west( while at one time it used to be destination) . Majority malayalis like to move to Bangalore but I don’t see any interest beyond that . Today Trivandrum and Kochi too are IT destination, so obviously employment opportunities are being generated within . With WFH being the new norm , Bangalore too would loose its importance in the long run . If the city becomes conservative, I don’t think it would be able to attract the best minds ...

Karnataka also is not developed but simply many companies come to Bangalore Mysore and mangalore because of the talent pool that exists in the state. How many non malyalis work in kochi very less and that is because they are very unwelcoming in terms of economic opportunities. The KIFB is like a private company which makes money and also takes loans. So the Kerala govt expects KIFB to pay back the loan. These Infrastructure protects have huge returns which go to KIFB. Which KIFB uses to pay back the bonds. it is a socialist capitalist idea. Practicing socialism through capitalism. Money and debt is not a problem as long as you are able to pay it back. The govt doesn't have money but KIFB has. They are doing this in order to fund infra projects without too much of beaureaucracy and corruption. A company is far effective in creating infrastructure than a slow government. Government has many limitations KIFB has very few limitations. Modi govt wants private companies to play the role of KIFB while Communist govt is using a puppet private company to grow more than its limitations. Both are capitalist ideas which borrow from the market. Only the control is different here govt controls the company in Modi govt's case Adani and many other Infrastructure companies to do this.
The communist govt simply doesn't trust these corporations and they want to do everything by themselves. But in this game surely the communists have beaten the corporations by beating them in their own game. 😂

Ms Jyothi is so passionate and really uninterrupted here😁. Well KIIFB is refurbishing and patch working what's already there in the state and then projected and inaugurated the existing infra taking the credit for the whole. Anyway even if KIIFB is a corporate body it is not independent from state and the pressure is on exchequer. Kerala has one of the highest density of roads even before KIIFB came and it was electrified and reasonably well connected for its geography and size even b4 present govt's coming into power. For first 4 years this govt never maintained infra well and by 4th year they started talking KIIFB is a grant success and started tarring less maintained already existing roads and talked about electricity which was already established in the state and then came central agencies. For the area that Kerala have infrastructure already has reached its saturation. So the debt that has taken directly effects exchequer in a future point, plus the present situation, and the infrastructure is not going to add for increasing tax base except for central fund for national highway modernisation. Accruing 60000 cr through KIIFB is a vastly exaggerated figure. Now a situation has arised in Kerala that if you want a govt job you must hold red flag, which everybody can't do. Central allocation of 64000 cr for NH is a new hope for Kerala. I won't say left has not done anything good for the situations, which any govt in power would have done differently. Anyhow they know how to do great PR work.

Well for this to work anywhere else there needs to be a competant bureaucratic structure that os flexible enough, kerala at the moment has that. So Modi's taking the alternative route using corporates to fund big infra projects, time will tell which is more sustainable. Though kifbi has been around for more than two decades, the communists under Vijayan's leadership have done a relatively good job of using it effectively compared to previous regimes. Combative binary narratives along ideological lines without a clear understanding of costs and benefits have always been India's greatest failing. Vijayan has done some really good work on the phyiscal and health infra side and has commited to eodb improvements along with freebies for winning election all that without the obsession with what people eat doesnt mean he didnt have missteps.
