Hey Glen, Great videos. I’m just starting out and have been practicing with my printer for a few weeks now working the bugs out of my Ender 3. I do not have a label machine. So it sounds like I’ll be making a lot of trips to usps. I’ve watched your other video on thingiverse licensing.

Great Video! Love this channel. On average, how long do you spend each day on the business? I want to start selling on etsy but im still in school and I want to see how time intensive this business is.
Right now I only spend about 30 minutes a day since my other business is keeping me busy and I have a daughter on the way so this is taking the back burner unfortunately but once it's up and running it doesn't take too much time

Love your videos, I had a question... I purchased 5x5 boxes after this video but... standard shipping labels don't fit on those >_< and some carriers won't accept a box that isn't like 6" on at least one dimension. How are you dealing with that? Or are you putting boxes in bags? Appreciate your insight!

I was using bubble mailers. Until one day a customer messaged that the parts I had sent where all melted and smashed down. so now I only ship in small boxes. I had wrapped the 3d printed parts in bubble wrap and then in bubble mailer. USPS put more packages on top and it was in summer time. and somewhere the package was exposed to a good amount of heat. so the parts got soft and smashed down. something to keep in mind during summer time.
I live in Connecticut so I don't see much of a problem here with that stuff, but boxes make it much more expensive overall

Hi, I like the idea of starting an online business 3D printing and selling things online, but I'm a bit cautious cause I really just wanna print and sell stuff, I'm not interested in doing social media or making a youtube channel like you've done here. Will my business fail if I just print and try to sell stuff?
Hi Riftis, I can't guarantee you'll succeed but it's not a hard business, And one you can do just by yourself without any employees, me having TH-cam channel is just to help you guys doesn't have any to do with your business itself you don't need a TH-cam channel this sell 3D prints online
I believe usps also does free shipping items and I think 1st class boxes is an option.
For me it's been more expensive of an option to try to go that route
Uline has been the cheapest I've found.
I found that ulines shipping canceled out any savings and made it very expensive for me
Those are not good prices on bubble mailers at all.
