Did you look into it and find outif it would sound deeper bass with a port hole in it ? Im fixing to make me one but didn't want to cut the hole if i didn't need to but if its going to give me more bass then i will
great videos, I bought a Z3 which I love, and want to re do the speakers and subwoofer but do not have the knowledge. Do you recommend any books or DVD's or something to learn it? I looked through YOU TUBE and its not there, just pieces all over the place but nothing basic tutorial that explains terms, 'the anatomy of a car stereo' to give a newbie understanding.
That's a tough one. Thought myself I guess. The Z3 is a wiring mess and took me quite a while to trace them all. It is just easier to run new wires to all the speakers
Autodad. I have a question for you about angeleyes install. I don't have instagram. Was wondering if I could email you about my angel eyes install on my m roadster. I have it installed and working. Just want clarification on amps/fuses so I don't blow anything on my baby. My electrical/ wiring knowledge is lacking. Thank you.

curious why you made a box, couldn't you just have lined the compartment with insulation and just built a lid to mount the speaker in?

So I later installed a fuse tap. Google it and purchase some. I used the 10A fuse with mine. Super easy to do
How much would you charge to do that to mine ?

It doesn't sound as good as if it were in a bigger box, but it is within the sealed enclosure volume requirements stated by the manufacturer
