Garth is a class act in every way. I've been a fan as long as I can remember since his debut album came out less than a year after I was born. Have seen him live 3 times now, the most recent 2 of which were the first show on that particular tour. I just love that while he's this massive worldwide star, he puts so much effort into taking care of the song writers and session players and making sure that they get paid fairly. That's part of why he held out on streaming for so long, because streaming is so notorious for not paying the artists and the writers fairly. If I was a betting man, I'd bet the farm on the fact that if him and Gaga end up doing this themselves, you all will probably get something out of it, because that's the kind of person he is. I mean, he once paid a song writer for a song he DIDN'T record.
Anyway, I'm a hard critic on Garth covers. Prior to seeing yours I'd only ever heard maybe 2 or 3 that I liked, not including Kelly Clarkson's at the Kennedy Center Honors, but I truly love what you've all created here. You have a lot to be proud of, I hope you know that.

Brother Joe, you and this young lady have voices that grab ahold of you. It gave me goosebumps all over and brought tears to my eyes.....i hope you two beautiful singers do another duet......this literally stopped what i was doing to listen to it

Showing my parents this video of Garth being absolutely stunned as he should be of the Beautiful Mashup, My Dad has played Country , Classic Rock music for over 30 yrs(Steele Guitar) he played all over Missouri, Kansas, Illinois and Nashville Tennessee recording with a band called Holeshot! The dance is one of my favorite songs that have so much meaning to me. I don't usually like any covers of it and it's hard to find the original. But this i absolutely love. I've played it over and over. Great job! Though I'd love to see how Garth Brooks and Lady Gaga would do it.
