  • In 2024 scientists confirm that dogs can recognize a bad person.studies have shown that dogs can smell chemical changes in people’s pheromones that indicate they have bad intentions, therefore signalling the dog that they’re a ‘bad’ person.

I knew a psychiatrist who took his dog, a Great Pyrenees, to his office. He told me he was seeing a teen boy for an intake. As soon as the boy entered the room, the dog took an aggressive stance, hackles raised, teeth bared and growling. I had met the dog and knew it to be very friendly, and the doc told me it had never reacted aggressively to anyone before. It turned out that the kid was referred for animal cruelty.

Over a 25 year period we had 3 dogs, from when I was 5 till about 30 and I lived in the same area. When we were kids there was a new kid that moved in the area with his family. Our old basset hound really hated him, he was actually aggressive towards him and (Zach) was the most friendly dog to everyone. Anyway, Zach passed over and this kid moved away for a few years. One day he arrived to say hi and Kimmy (our bull terrier) also hated him to the point it was dangerous. The same thing with our third dog Abraham. The three of them wanted to attack him, when they were so loving normally. When this kid was about 27, he raped and murdered 3 women. I am convinced that these dogs sensed something bad or evil in him and wanted to protect us from him. They are amazing beings.

Prior to 9/11 I was holding my tiny Pom in my arms, when we were walking down the main street in Delray Beach, Fla. Mohammed Atta passed by and Foxie growled at him. This dog loved men and never growled at a man prior to that.time. When they showed the face of Atta on TV as being one of the master minds of the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers, it was the same face that my Foxie growled at.

A few years ago, I was on lunch break and walking through a trail with a friend. A woman on a bike had her dog with her. I complimented her on her dog. She didn't stop but her dog did right in front of me. She sat in front of me, so I was talking to the dog and started petting her. The woman indicated to the dog she wanted to get going. I stopped petting her and encouraged her to leave. The dog didn't get up at all but sat in front of me and didn't look away. She finally left and started back with her owner. I was watching her go and she looked back at me several times. I still don't know what happened with the exchange. What it was all about.

Many years ago my mom told me about a family gathering from when I was a baby where the guests included my Great Aunt and her husband. She was a sweet lady and although I have no memory of her husband from what I've been told he was a scum bag. The family dog at the time was a Collie St Bernard mix who wanted to shred the guy on sight and to say this was not a typical response from this dog would be an understatement. In fact he lived 17 yrs and as far as I know this was the only time he ever showed any kind of aggression towards a person.

One more caveat. Your dog reacts to your emotions. If you are worried about your dog, the dog will know you are worried, but not why. For instance, if you are afraid your dog will bite somebody, the dog will know you are afraid, but will think you are afraid of that other person! It will never occur to your loving dog that you are afraid of what HE will do! So, the dog might actually bite that person, thinking you are in danger.

Dogs can spot liars is a flat out lie. The study the claim as evidence shows dogs don't trust people that had previously lied to them. That is VASTLY different. Otherwise the fmdog would know to go tho the cup that had the food regardless of which was pointed at.

You know what? People can recognize dogs' expressions too; even people that are not used to dogs. People who are not used to cats cannot recognize a cat's expression the same way.

Everything in this video is true from my lifetime experience with dogs. However I want to point out that a dog can show aggression towards someone who fears them. While a dog can sense a "bad" person through scent, behavior and body language, a person that fears a dog can trigger a dog to dislike that person. A fearful person may or may not be a bad person. This is my opinion from my experiences with dogs for many years. Fear accompanied by moving away from a dog can trigger prey drive and cause the dog to chase after the person. Basic psychology is we do not like what we fear hence we do not like the dog if we fear him. Maybe the dog on an instinctual level sees a fearful person as prey and/or the enemy. After all if you trust me and have good intentions you probably would not fear me. Of course a dog operates with instincts mostly however I am explaining it in human terms also. I focused on fear here however there is a lot more to this subject. For instance directly staring at a dogs eyes is considered an aggressive challenge. Look at human boxers before a fight. They directly stare at eachother as if to say I challenge you.

SOME dogs may be able to do what is described in this video, however, hundreds if not thousands of people including children are unalived and/or seriously hurt every year is this country and around the world. SOME dogs are mentally ill and SOME have genetic defects that make them act inappropriately. JUST like humans who are not raised properly, dogs sometimes grow up to be monsters. When YOUR dog shows aggression towards someone, often YOU are the problem, due to your anxiety, fear, and dislike you have for someone, YOU are making your dog react that way. People do not normally go around attacking people they "feel" bad or "uncomfortable" with, and neither should a normal healthy dog. Dogs that growl and lunge for no apparent reason are often dangerous, and especially if they are acting this way towards children. People need to train and socialize their dogs properly and then their dog will act appropriately. And then there is the issue of dogs unaliving their owners or family members, in fact one I read about, her sons dog attacked and unalived his mom while she was watching his dog while he was on vacation. There is a big difference between a small dog and one large enough to over power and unalive a human. Never leave your children alone with large and medium size dogs, even small dogs can be a serious threat to children! And how to you explain why dogs fight so much and often attack each other for no apparent reason? Maybe, because like some people who are bullies, so go some dogs. It's important to seriouly educated yourself and commit to proper training before you take on the responsibility of owning a dog, and do likewise if you plan on bringing a human into this world.
