Wow, always beautiful blooms. The Prostechea is to die for. We love that color combination. The Brassavola that bloomed for the first time is divine. Lovely novelty phals. Great job. Many regards

I love all your gorgeous blooms, especially your oncidium types and Brassias. 😍🥰 Do I need to mention the Miltoniopsis's? 😆🫠 The Brassias set the blooms so beautifully. I have the M. rozellii xanthina now too! A small plant that probably won't bloom until next year if I'm lucky. The Brassavola cucullata I got as a blooming size seedling last Sept. and asap transitioned to pumice/semi-hydro, is pushing out its first bloom spike with 2 buds. 👍👍🙂 Thank you for sharing all your beautiful blooms! 🙏😍❤️

How wonderful that you have two buds on your cucullata as well! Mine is now in full bloom. Beautiful blooms. Very, very nice shape. And o, that xanthina is something special! … I LOVE It! :D I order three of them when I had the change LOL.. Just to be safe :P

You have such beautiful orchids… like almost all of them look flawless. I aspire and would be thrilled to have orchids half as beautiful as yours.
    Wonderfully inspiring video.
I am in love with the L. tenebrosa and the D. Victoriae Regina.
Would you tell me the names of two of your orchids. I’m in love with them as well and have never seen them.
Oh and I just realized the one is a NoID Aliceara maybe? So gorgeous but the other one I just couldn’t understand what you said exactly.
Memoria Domo something? I love the lavender and butter yellow lip.
    Thanks!

Thank you so much! :D That purple one is indeed a NoID, sadly! It SO beautiful. I have it for years now and it blooms every year. I love it too! :D The other one is the aliceara memoria donald Yamada. I hope you can find it for sale, it is also a beauty.

have those round marks always been on the Durigan leaves? I see that and it makes me think virus (specifically a mosaic virus). It looks like there is some color break on the lip maybe, can't see anything on the rest of the bloom but that might be the pattern hides it. I would keep an eye on it, if the newest leaves develop those same marks, you may have to trash the plant.

    • @TheOrchidSaGa
      @TheOrchidSaGa  หลายเดือนก่อน

Thank you so much for mentioning! I have my eyes on it for sure, there is something wrong indeed. Not sure what yet, that’s why I still have it. Plus, it has nice roots, all the new growths are bigger then the year before and good size blooms…. Only the newest leaves are green, the rest is yellow and has indeed these strange spots on them. I will keep watching those new leaves… I hope for the best…

Hi EJ, Can you please tell me the name of the orchid that you said is one of your favourites? Yellow with red lip. Lots of beautiful flowers. Near the start of the video. (About 4.30)

    • @TheOrchidSaGa

I believe that beautiful orchid you don’t have an id for near the end of your video is
Belleara Kutchin or Aliceara or Oncidium. Or whatever it is these days!

No problem! I was determined and I had to download a different browser to find anything close. Google is very poor at giving results these days. I don’t know but it’s like I just get the same stuff over and over again and then more of the same shopping items.
But I’m using Mojeek as my search engine and I found that hybrid almost immediately. Took like 10-15 mins.

@@TheOrchidSaGa this may be a long shot to reach out to you like this but I literally am not sure what to do.
I have a finch that my cat brought in today and I found it around 9am… with a very injured wing and a wound.
I was bawling like a baby holding it and waiting for her to pass(I don’t actually know if it’s a her but for lack of knowing, i feel like she is) because she was so still and weak but she just kept barely hanging on.
Is it normal for a bird who’s been seriously injured to go into kind of a trance/sleeping state for this long? I can still tell she has a heartbeat and is warmish but it’s incredibly sad and I wish I could give her water or something but she doesn’t respond to me putting some of her beak or anything.
I cleaned the wound with some iodine and I put some peroxide on it and then a very natural and mild naturalizing gel in hopes of helping her feel a little relief.
I don’t know what to do at this point. Should I bathe her with a warm cloth or wrap the wound somehow? Neosporin!
I’ve cared for a lot of injured animals in my time because I love them and I’ve had a lot of them, so it just happens. But birds are very foreign to me and even though I think I’m doing all I can, I feel like I’m also not, because I truly didn’t expect her to still be alive at this point…. I really don’t want her to suffer more from dehydration or hunger or heat or cold or infection… I don’t have anywhere close to take her and I also have no way of doing so until tomorrow and I don’t think the place nearish to me takes wild birds.. and also feel maybe she has to make it through tonight in order to try and get her to someone who can care for her professionally.
Sorry sorry for all the questions and how long this is but I would like to ask someone I actually know does this kind of thing and not the internet… also I probably have one chance to reach ya as far as possibly soon and I wanted you to have the info.
If you could give me any pointers of how to clean or protect her wound or keep her more comfy, and also what to feed her, or how to go about getting her fluids?? I would so very much so appreciate you.. and your time
She’s in a sock hat rolled up like a nest and the hat is in a basket with towel set over the handle, making sort of a tent with one flap opening. I’ve been trying to keep her at rest and quiet and also some darkness but not completely. I cleaned it once but not well and that was also about 12 hours ago now.
She won’t move but she blinks slowly every now and again.
I have some dry cat food I put in a little water until it got poofy and tried smushing it by her beak and touching her beak with it. And I have water in one of those cooking squeeze bottles with the pointed tip, and have tried to put some on her beak and touch the side of her beak with the end of it but no response of wanting any.
Do you know what finches eat and would a bath help her to drink? It seems she likes it when I hold her in my hand and breathe with her close. But it’s hot here and I feel like she must be hot cause I am, but my instinct say to keep her bundled… at least that was my instinct. Now I feel like I am creating a stagnant environment for infection. Should I clean her off well and get her in a more open spot or…
You can see I’m at a loss and panicking a bit. I just wanna help!
      Anything at all thank you!
Any products you know of to apply as well/
Seriously sorry for this and I thank you for anytime you spend, even if it’s just the read the massive comment I just wrote..
whether you know what I can do or even if the answer is that I’m too late to do what I should have…
Just knowing that would help me ti settle and I think handle this better for her

@@LauraStansfield-tw7xb I am so sorry for my late response, but I am not allowed to give you any kind of care guides in this matter. The only thing, and the best thing, I can say is that the finch needs help from a professional. And they need it ASAP. The poison most likely will kill them otherwise. Despite all your good intentions and care. It needs help… I hope everything did turn out well, but I am afraid it didn’t…. Good luck.
