I can see why they put Dendrochillum in with Coelogyni, they also sulk and stall after a repot. Very slow with new roots. Plants also do look very similar
Perfect timing, she says as she glares at the Coelogyne pachystachaya purchased in March with very poor roots that needs to be repotted into a "recovery" medium now. Sigh. Good luck with your flaccida, stinkiest orchid I have ever owned!!
Yay, repot day!! Those leaves are so pretty!!
Some Coelogynes are huge with leaves over a meter long.
Thank you for the repot.Very interesting!😊
You're welcome.
Oh ok, when I watched your video it looked much more free draining media and I didn't see much moss. I will watch it again 😊
Great repot Roger, i love the wide leaves on the second Coelogyne, I hope they both do well for you!
One will be fine - not so sure of the other one.
Excellent repot, Roger.
Thanks.
Enjoyed the repot. Thanks Roger.
Thanks - and you're welcome.

They both seem to be slow to re-create a root system once lost.
@@RogersOrchidsGardenandBonsai seaweed helps, at least on the Dendrochillums, haven't done the Coelogynies yet
