Hello my friend! I'm so glad to hear that you love it. And it was a pretty ugly tray, wasn't it? I looked for the worst one I could find lol... I'm so happy you enjoyed the video. Thanks for always watching and sending me messages. I always look forward to hearing from you. 🤗😘
Thanks so much for remembering my question; I forgot I asked it so I was stunned to hear my name! You never fail me, you always come through with such great ideas, remedies and instructions, you’re a faithful friend. You not only found a solution but your genius knowledge of how to color resin was so simple and labor saving that it will help so many crafters save time, money and labor and extra steps. It was truly a gorgeous work of art, I absolutely loved it and am looking forward to trying it. It blew my mind when I saw it. People see the difference between a put together craft and one that is elevated and professional, as all your items are. Thanks for all you do to help crafters!
Good evening my sweet wonderful fabulous friend! Do you know how much I love hearing from you??? I'm so glad you enjoyed this. Isn't that a really cool way to color the resin? And mica powder comes in such fabulous colors. And you can even mix them to make new colors. Thank you for always being here and sending such amazing messages to me 🤗😘🥰💖
@@masoncreationsetcordered Mica powder yesterday and will be here today. Looking forward to making MAGIC happen. A friend told me Mica powder causes cancer!! Is this true? I will wear a mask, goggles and gloves to be safe for both the resin and powder. There’s ALWAYS something, isn’t there?!
Oh that's so cool. You're going to love it! I haven't heard anything about mica powder causing cancer. Somebody is always coming up with something that is going to kill us...ugh... I haven't been wearing a mask or goggles, just a hazmat suit 🤣🤪😜 just kidding! It's what they make eyeshadow out of, so I doubt that it's too harmful. Have fun my friend! 🤗😘
🇨🇦👋 Happy Sunday! What a neat idea! Summer is upon us and imagine serving treats on this tray on the patio. 😋. Thanks as always for sharing your creativity! 🌹. Have an enjoyable week - see you next week! Have a blessed day.
Hi there my sweet friend! This would definitely be fun to serve some summer treats on. I'm so glad you enjoyed this project. Thanks for always watching and sending me delightful messages 🤗😘
Hi Marsha! Thank you and I'm happy you enjoyed this video! It looks a little bit different, doesn't it? Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
Hello my friend! I always love hearing from you. Thank you so much and I'm happy you like this one. Thanks for always watching and sending me messages 😊💖
Hi Jeanneh! Thank you and I'm happy you're enjoying all my videos! And thank you so much for subscribing, I love making new crafty friends! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
I've used that method with resin and molds for over 10 years, I use to use regular eyeshadow to add color then mica powder a few years later but it was soo much fun!
Hi there! Yep, you can use eye shadow. It's actually made from mica powder and works just the same. Thanks again for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
Hi there my friend! Thanks so much, I'm glad you like it. Thanks for always watching and sending me messages. I always look forward to hearing from you 💖🤗

Hi Merry my friend! The rub ons are pretty cool. It seemed to work much better with a matte finish. Let me know how you like them. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
Hi there! Thank you and I'm happy you enjoyed this video! I have not tried resin, but I bet that would look really good. Hahaha, am I a Polyvine pusher? Follow me to the dark side 🤣 I really love Polyvine and I'm glad to see that you do as well. It's an amazing product, isn't it? Are you using it for decoupage adhesive too? That's where it really shines. It leaves mod podge in the dust. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
Hi there! Nope, you sure cannot. That was one of the tests I did. It was a fail. The transfer cracks really wide in comparison to the really fineline cracks in the background. The cracks end up about an eighth of an inch wide. Which is pretty big. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
Hi Leeann, No, you definitely cannot put the crackle over the transfer. I tried it and it caused huge gaps and looked terrible. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
do you have any suggestions on how to crackle a plastic canvas? There are some stunning artworks on Temu that are reproductions of old masters art pieces that would just scream out for cracks!!!!! May I once again pick your awesome brain?
Hi Cindy my friend! I would think you could just put the fineline crackle right over top of it. I would give it a coat of matte finish first so the crackle medium doesn't bead up. You can just spray a matte clear coat first. That sounds like it would be beautiful. 😊💖
@@masoncreationsetc dummy me just spread it on top of the picture and just got more gloss. I am so dumb sometimes. I thought it would work since it was plastic coated anyway. I tried it on a paper decopauge tray with a varnish on top then the crackle but still did not get any cracks. What in the world am I doing wrong? I finally get cracks on glass plates but I don't want paint on top of the pictures
I would think it would look best with the crackle finish on the pictures. I don't think it'll work on paper. I'm not sure, I haven't tried it. Start with a matte finish, then paint on component #1 and let dry until it's completely clear. Brush on component #2 and let dry for several hours or overnight. You should get cracks. Are you using the fineline crackle by Pentart?
@@masoncreationsetc of course and only bought at our favorite store!!!!!!! Maybe I did not get a thick enough coat. It is just beading up on me. I tried a coat of varnish on the paper then the crackle two step but it also beaded up on me. I am doing something really wrong but I cannot figure out what it is.
Are you putting it over a matte surface or glossy? Gloss may make it bead up. You want to email me some pictures and a list of exactly what you are using and the steps you took? I'll see if I can figure it out. 📧 My email: masoncreationsetc@yahoo.com
Beautiful. No one would ever guess it was plastic. You made it look like vintage enamel. You truly met the challenge. 👍👏
Hello Barbbette my friend! Thanks so much, and I'm so glad you enjoyed this project. Thanks for always watching and sending me messages 😊💖

Hi Miriam, You're very welcome and thanks for always watching and taking the time to send me messages 😊💖
Can the crackling be done after adding the transfer so the whole tray have the uniform antique crackled effect?
Can you put the crackle stuff over the transfer?

@masoncreationsetc can't thank you enuf for response! You saved me getting angry at my project because I would have tried it!!!
You are very welcome. Thank goodness I did a test piece with it, or I would have ruined my whole project too.
