Sometimes you wanna go where everybody hates your face And the villains share your rage, You wanna be in the evil seat, Heroes are all the same, You wanna go where everybody hates your face.
Actually, Ragnos didn't proclaim Sadow as the new Dark Lord, he merely gave a warning to the present Sith Lords at his funeral to choose wisely, between Kressh or Sadow. It was the Council of Sith Lords that eventually proclaimed Sadow as the new Dark Lord, after he had engineered the break-out of Gav and Jori Daragon and blaming it on the republic, managing to spin it into a direct threat by the republic to the Sith Empire. All but 2 of the present Sith Lords supported the proclamation of Sadow as the new Dark Lord of the Sith. (Source: Dark Horse Comics, Tales of the Jedi: Golden Age of the Sith)
What if Padme refused Anakin's creepy advances? What if Anakin accepted Miraj Scintel's deal? What if Jar Jar bought the deathsticks? One of these things is not like the other...
The thing that created/ popularized the concept of good and evil, the Zoroastrians (and other religions, but they got to the concept of the duality first iirc), even glanced over that bit and honestly it's really hard to do a good and evil origin story. This is outside of just doing the concept of one girl being hotter, than the other, one job being better than the other, one piece of land being better than the other, the older brother mad at the younger, or some other chance based roll like that. Then you're stuck leaving it at that and no one explains why one side, "the good", was favored over the other. Then the story normally goes with the "Evil" one trying to use the piece of land that the "good" one got and the "good" one going wtf and it ends with some moral lesson like "I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant; it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are." or some other classicness, but you can't do that because Star Wars and the Sith Vs Jedi goes on after that. If we're following myth origins the only other good early bit is maybe the "The Origins of the Rules" (The Moses) IE the origins of the Jedi Code outside of The prophecy coming true. The origin of the prophecy also isn't bad (Cave of Treasures), but that one is too mythy, even for star wars sake. Then of course they could do old republic as well, but that's less about the myth side of things
I. Th. Whomever did it, the effect is that the Yuuzhan Vong are no more, as far as we know, in the Canon timeline. I realize that the EU was never totally respected by Lucasfilm and only really ever kind of alluded to officially, but it was still a major deal that they outright changed it.
Ragnos has been, since I first played Jedi Academy, my absolute favorite Sith Lord. His ridiculous amounts of power and the respect that the Sith (who are typically rather vain, prideful individuals) gave him is so epic.
I also love the ancient sith and old republic. I dare say they are my favorite par to Star Wars and I hope that they are reintroduced back into the canon. When a fantasy universe has a real sense of history, like Lord of the Rings does, it adds so much more to the main story.
SWTOR if anything taught me that Sith too can become Apparitions, but only requirement is for them to be bound to a tomb and the need for a vessel when the tomb is disturbed. In the game, Inquisitor story shows this and same goes for Jedi Consular with Terrak Morrhage while there is also Vodal Kressh possibly the son of Ludo Kressh. When they possess a body, they take full control over it and then they can change them to whatever way they see fit either using a combination of dark side sorcery and Sith Alchemy. One can possess many host and in turn perhaps gain the knowledge of the changed world through their eyes. They will continue until they can find a permanent host that can withstand their body alteration experiments.
you should do a fan theory on what if Qui Gon apperd to Anakin and guilded him similar to how Obi Won did to Luke. This would have large impacts and ramafiactions, especial when Palaptien was trying to trick Anakin
5000 years ago... The Sith already conquerd Planets. To put that in Perspektive 5000 years ago we on earth were just about to invent Papyrus the early Form of paper
Made this back in October then re-did it a few weeks ago with my better mic, better sound fx, and music. :) The older vids just sound too raspy and low quality. Can't have that now can we. lol
SWT made this a few months ago, then re-did it a few weeks ago with better sound quality and now uploaded it. The idea that SWT copied Stupendous Wave is out of the question as SWT's videos take far too long to have been made after Stupendous Wave.
Star Wars Theory could you do a video talking about if Palpatine used the force to create the dreams about padme in Anakin's mind in order to sway him to the dark side? Also including in this video the argument that palpatine lost to windu on purpose for the same reason?
Honestly, and I realized I'm crossing genre is here, he kind of reminds me of a belrog (sp) from the Lord of the rings. Supremely powerful, strikes fear into those who know of him, can't be truly defeated and from a more ancient era, but ultimately inconsequential as theirs nothing but small pieces left from his era and he's bound to a fixed location.
When i first played Jedi Knight Jedi Academy, i thought that Ragnos was created for that title alone. Turns out i was mistaken. Love the character, love the video!
I just wanted to tell you how awesome this video was I play Star Wars the Old Republic. it was one of my characters I just discovered who the former Sith Emperor now the Eternal emperor of zaku is tenebrae I think that's just incredibly awesome if you have a video about that. the video game tells you about all these ancient Sith Lords but it never really goes into detail anyway thanks
I believe Snoke is Ragnos myself, especially because it could easily be that the Force-Born Anakin was born expressly to counteract the equally Force-Born Ragnos and Plagueis' machinations may only have affected the timing of it. With the Prequels having failed this "fate", the story of the new trilogy might be of Rey finally completing Anakin's real destiny.
Man these are always so good, Star Wars is so far beyond the movies its insane, and the best nerd crack ever for that matter. Even as a kid when I had no knowledge of any story outside the first three then six movies, it was the Idea of Star Wars that made it so much more than just awesome movies (don't hate me but its the rest of the star wars universe that has me hooked for life). Also I've always really wanted one of them high quality Lightsabres, I actually practice Sabre fencing so it would get used for real (please please please).
I like your videos, they are very interesting. What have you read about sith wounds? It's mentioned once in the sith war graphic novel from tales of the Jedi
Can you by any chance do a video on the sith ruler king Adas, the first Sith'ari. He is from the time of the Racata infinite Empire. I feel like he is waaaay too under represented and needs some exposure. And I feel like you, my favorite Star Wras YTer
I feel like force ghosts come when you have balance between the light and the dark. Anakin realized this, as well as Yoda and Luke. The force only desires balance, as is shown clearly in the prequels.
Star wars theory i have a Question and if u do have info please make a video.... Who found the force? who was the first Jedi? what Made the force separate from dark side to light side? and What is the origins Of the force? And very first sith lord?
The force was founded by an alien race that lived to fight and conquer.( rakhta or something like that) They used the force to power a way to create something like wormholes to other worlds . They were more dark side oriented so it caused an imbalance and created a light user similar to yoda to balance itself supposedly. The oldest stories hinted at in lore was there were identical twins who ended up becoming light and dark force users ( not jedi) so strong their battle destroyed the planet( they were fighting over a woman) and ultimately caused the schism leading to sith and jedi factions. So Jedi twin births were very suspect .This is why Jedi forbid falling in love to their students as the stronger the emotions the greater chance of going to the darkside and the Sith embrace their emotions as it empowers them. On a side note ,the whole SW universe we know has been hinted at Palpatine as being nothing more than an escaped clone of the original Emperor who tried to take over the republic in the rim outer worlds while the original was in the core worlds.
Ignore what the one above answered. That's not even present in Star Wars lore, and is likely that user's fan-fiction. If you want to know these things, both from Canon and Legends, then Wookiepedia is your friend.
A very abridged explanation about the Force and the Jedi Order in Legends canon: "In 36,453 BBY, philosophers and scientists from several Star systems gathered on Tython to share mystical knowledge. The Force was "discovered." Unfortunately, in 25,793 BBY, several Tythan scholars began using their knowledge of the Force to pursue power, leading to the beginning of the Force Wars. Peace-minded monks that survived the destruction on Tython established the Jedi Order in 25,783 BBY." About the first Sith Lord, no one knows. The title originally referred to a high-ranking member of the Sith race's society. If you want to know about who was the first Dark Lord of the Sith, that was Ajunta Pall, one of the Dark Jedi who were exiled following the Hundred-Year Darkness.
If you think about it all sith lords or dark lords can become force ghosts. They are passionate about attaining power. Greed is a passion within itself. This explains why the dark side is prominent on Korriban even though the sith lords are dead
One thing I was wondering is there a significance to each Sith lord's name? Are they just granted a name by thier master, or can they choose their own?
I have a question that might make a good video. maybe you've already covered it, but I haven't seen it. And maybe the answer is common knowledge to star wars fans, but im gonna put it here anyway. If lightsabers are built to emit those metal melting laser blades, that means that the emitter itself must be resistant to it. Yet time and time again in the series, lightsabers get damaged/cut in half. so herein lies the question. Why aren't lightsabers completely made out of lightsaber resistant material? I love your videos, keep up the good work, and may the Force be with you.
Hey man, love your videos! could you make one (or point me to one, if you already made it) ranking sith lords? i'm really curious where sidious and vader rank when compared to ragnos, bane, revan and those boys haha
I found interesting the choice for the title, seeing that the part about Darth Plagueis is only about 20-30seconds. Why didn't you use the same title or a simple variation as before? Isn't the point truly about Marka Ragnos and him as sith force ghost?
I was expecting that he taught Plagueis how to use Essence Transfer, like he taught to Valkorion. It sounds more like he just showed up as a ghost and Plageuis was impressed and wanted to do the same and eventually figured out how to do it with science via the maxichlorians (i think im saying that right lol). I'm guessing Palpatine used that same scientific method, and part of Project Necromancer was injecting clones in stasis tanks with maxichlorians that Palps could stick his soul to.
Big deets you missed. His helmet. Technically any force sensitive person with horns could be more powerful by the fact the force can somehow be channeled with a tuning fork of such ala Jeddah and Vader’s Castle
It's been said before that the great irony of the Sith is that the thing they seek the most above all, immortality, is completely inaccessible to them due to the fact that you can only transcend into a Force Ghost (retaining your personality) by complete selflessness and purity of intentions. It is by letting go, and not by holding on that allows them to remain in the physical realm. That being said however, I'd be fine with the idea of there being Sith Spirits, but unlike Jedi, they'd be trapped, not free. Refusing to let go of the material world, and yet not living at all. Bound to a place or object and not able to influence the material world in any significant way other than communication with living beings, if they're powerful enough. This wouldn't be true immortality, it would be torment, it would be a cage from which they can't or maybe won't escape due to refusing to let go. Not even living, but existing in a half-state, losing a big part of yourself. While the Jedi become One with the Force while retaining their personality, Sith might refuse to allow themselves to move on and fight a constant battle either for eternity, or until they let go.
I think the force Ghost is a power limitted only to the light side. Marka Ragnos, could do this becasue he was a Mage too. Like we saw on Clone wars, the mother of the sister´s of the night, she admits she used no Force, but magic. She could travel as a Ghost to where ever she went.
where can i find a list of these comics in chronological order? they seem awesome, and maybe I'm not looking up the correct thing, but I can't seem to find these comics.
Seems like Sith ghosts need to be bound to a phylactery or physical object. They are obviously far less mobile, can be destroyed if the physical object is destroyed and interact far less than a Jedi ghost. Of course, when they do interact, they can physically affect the corporeal world and even possess other beings. It seems like a balanced trade-off.
How they met?! OH come on the villain pub of course.
burger5082 HISHE
Sometimes you wanna go where everybody hates your face
And the villains share your rage,
You wanna be in the evil seat,
Heroes are all the same,
You wanna go where everybody hates your face.
There's literally 5000 years of history? They can make so many movies now.
The Primordial Oh come on, every fan considers it all cannon anyways
Alex The Snowman thats not the point though. i love legends but disney is more than likely going to incorporate the more popular legends characters
Allie Fettig Over 25,000 years in legends.
Assassin's Den 25,000 years of future movies, yes.
80,000 years of history

Jesus Christ I love nerds
This horned dude discovered the boy Tenebrae who became Vitiate then Emperor Valkorian he's the most powerful sith lord in the old republic...
True that Zeke
West Bradley-Taubner Vititae Stronger
West Bradley-Taubner Nah...
West Bradley-Taubner Vitiate Took over an entire planet of force users... He was only...13...
West Bradley-Taubner Opinion? I just stated a fact
Star Wars Theory. The legend of Marka Ragnos This was a great story,The Sith Lords are always entertaining.Thank you for sharing this with us. :)
Hey Ron, thank you so much for watching and for the nice message. :)
Star Wars Theory Always a Pleasure love the channel.
What if Padme refused Anakin's creepy advances?
What if Anakin accepted Miraj Scintel's deal?
What if Jar Jar bought the deathsticks?
One of these things is not like the other...
If jar jar bought the deathsticks he would be the most powerful Sith ever.
Disney needs to make a Jedi and Sith origin movie.
Carlos De La Cadiz no. if it takes place before TPM they should stay away because they'll only further ruin it.
The thing that created/ popularized the concept of good and evil, the Zoroastrians (and other religions, but they got to the concept of the duality first iirc), even glanced over that bit and honestly it's really hard to do a good and evil origin story. No, no, no, they've done enough by taking away the Vong :(. let them have their canon, leave Legends where lie.
I. Th. I know, I said _Disney_ has done enough by _taking away_ the Vong.
I. Th. Whomever did it, the effect is that the Yuuzhan Vong are no more, as far as we know, in the Canon timeline.
I realize that the EU was never totally respected by Lucasfilm and only really ever kind of alluded to officially, but it was still a major deal that they outright changed it.

@Shillyvk Sshilly He was clearly meant to look like an absolute demon, that's probably why he's so terrifying, aesthetically.
your last two videos was your best it really completed a lot of the story of Star Wars
Thanks Eric, glad you were entertained man.
I also love the ancient sith and old republic. I dare say they are my favorite par to Star Wars and I hope that they are reintroduced back into the canon. When a fantasy universe has a real sense of history, like Lord of the Rings does, it adds so much more to the main story.
Man I would kill ( not really😄) for a spinoff movie set 5000 Years before episode 1!😀😀 your videos are TOP NOTCH! keep it up man!👍
Corey Mckee would be as shit as Star Wars 7
You could kill Kathleen Kennedy for us

You have the perfect voice to go along with these stories!
5000 years ago... The Sith already conquerd Planets. To put that in Perspektive 5000 years ago we on earth were just about to invent Papyrus the early Form of paper
Thanks for the vids man, we appreciate all the hard work you do to make these. I look forward to seeing more!
Marka Ragnos, the Dark Lord of the Sith so badass that only old age could kill him.
I love how the depth of Star Wars spans centuries.
Stupendous Wave made this right before you.
Made this back in October then re-did it a few weeks ago with my better mic, better sound fx, and music. :)
The older vids just sound too raspy and low quality. Can't have that now can we. lol
+Star Wars Theory Oh okay that was my mistake. Thank you
Hope you found it entertaining man. Thanks for watching and commenting.
+Star Wars Theory of course. I love the Old Republic era

Raining Pigs Studios ok
Raining Pigs Studios wait what
stupendouswaves voice is utter shit
SWT made this a few months ago, then re-did it a few weeks ago with better sound quality and now uploaded it. The idea that SWT copied Stupendous Wave is out of the question as SWT's videos take far too long to have been made after Stupendous Wave.
A force ghost defeated by a mortal force user, Jaden Korr xD
Star Wars Theory could you do a video talking about if Palpatine used the force to create the dreams about padme in Anakin's mind in order to sway him to the dark side? Also including in this video the argument that palpatine lost to windu on purpose for the same reason?
How did Padme Die According to The Public?
MyWizBiz I looked it up, it's still kind of a mystery to most, there are different views towards her death :-(
+Ron Kelley they say it in the third movie that she died due to a broken heart and lost her will to live.
MyWizBiz by a Jedi traitor
Antonio Arcadia nope Anakin didn't kill her she died from sadness and broken heart
when you're a top-of-the-line medical droid and your patient is dying of a "broken heart"
this video real good. You explained how a sith ghost appears Wich is something I never knew and read about. thank you.
please more ancient sith, love it, as always!

Hey man I love your video's. Your honestly my favorite youtuber keep up the good work.
I love the old stories. keep it up
I am loving your videos your videos are making my day sooooooo much better.. Keep it up (Sry if its bad english)
Excellent research.Keep it up.
Love the Old Republic era and the lore from there
First and awesome video you are really awesome you inspired me to write my own Star Wars fan fictions :D
First like view and comment 😱
Your introduction is really badass btw
When i first played Jedi Knight Jedi Academy, i thought that Ragnos was created for that title alone. Turns out i was mistaken. Love the character, love the video!
I really just kind of just love your voice. And your content (obviously - your stuff is top notch). But yeah....your voice. Thumbs up on your voice.
Thanks so much L.A. :)
Do one on Tulak Hord Lord of Hate and Master of the gathering Darkness
Man I love your videos
I don't think star war theory could have made a video on the same topic as the stupendous wave video like this take a while to make
Så intressant video jag lärde mig något nytt
I think we should just appreciate Star Wars Theory and The Stupendous Wave equally. It's not a competition!
Liked and subbed awhile back , really enjoy your in depth videos and your insight. Great job Man!
My favourite character Darth Vader second two characters what we should have more of in my opinion
Thanks for the birthday present! :)

You said marka was the best of his era hmmm?
I have a idea for another video! take all the best sith of all eras and have them verse each other!
Nice vid!!
Can you by any chance do a video on the sith ruler king Adas, the first Sith'ari. He is from the time of the Racata infinite Empire. I feel like he is waaaay too under represented and needs some exposure. And I feel like you, my favorite Star Wras YTer

I can't stop hearing Mark Eragnos.
we need a trilogy of an era in the Old Repiublic with old Sith Lords and Jedi
What do u think would have happened if Tarkin escaped before the Death Star got deystroyed
Clyde Sada Empire probably would win Tarkin wouldn't have screwed up Hoth and sure as hell wouldn't mess up the second Death Star
I want you to do more on the back stories of others from the old republic
wowzer amazing vid
Great theory
what about Agunta Paul? He invented the dule blade style, and no videos on him or the rest of the Sith in the valley
Make What if Dooku Stayed at Jedi Order Please!!

first love the video make even more video man live them :) make a video about Anakin vs Yoda
Yo what about Anakin/Vaders ghost? It's interesting and I think only you would have the answer to it
What if Snoke is Ragnos? That would be a hell of a twist, that he possessed a force user he felt was on par with his standards.
Big deets you missed.
His helmet.
Technically any force sensitive person with horns could be more powerful by the fact the force can somehow be channeled with a tuning fork of such ala Jeddah and Vader’s Castle
I love the Plagueis Voice remind me of Jack of Blades from Fable 1 it's pretty damn good

What music at 2:44, you use it in every video I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IT IS, william maytook personally told me he didnt compose it.
Why is everyone uploading about this topic? You, Stupendous Wave, EvenNova...
Stupendous Wave uploaded a video with the same thing....COOOL!!!!!
STARWARSTHEORY IS BETTER
densguitarcorner i know
I think the force Ghost is a power limitted only to the light side. Marka Ragnos, could do this becasue he was a Mage too. Like we saw on Clone wars, the mother of the sister´s of the night, she admits she used no Force, but magic. She could travel as a Ghost to where ever she went.
Would be Nice to see some star wars movie about The knights of The old republic.
I'm honestly kind of disappointed that they didn't mentioned sinister siths and more mature characters
where can i find a list of these comics in chronological order? they seem awesome, and maybe I'm not looking up the correct thing, but I can't seem to find these comics.
I keep searching without success.... I was wondering, what's the ending theme of your videos ending during which palpatine is speaking???
Darth Plagueis may respect Ragnos power, but not fear him.
Can you make a video about What if Yoda went to fight Anakin instead of Obi-Wan
Seems like Sith ghosts need to be bound to a phylactery or physical object. They are obviously far less mobile, can be destroyed if the physical object is destroyed and interact far less than a Jedi ghost. Of course, when they do interact, they can physically affect the corporeal world and even possess other beings. It seems like a balanced trade-off.
Make more videos about what if blank trained blank like if yoda trained anakin or qui gon
when will you be covering the "how anakin returned as a force ghost"?
2:58 Ragnos wasn't born by the force like Anakin, he was born to a dark Jedi human father and a Sith pureblood mother.
thanks!
Is it me or does this guy try to steal/compete with Stupendous wave cause stupendous wave uploaded a video about the same subject
