my moms boy friend frankie had 1 just like that i remember the road runner logo over the glove box. ty for bringing back a childhood Memory. i was born in 74 and i remember this car. his was black with a white vinal top. i was 4 or 5 years old. i night after ice cream some thing broke and all we had was reverse so frankie drove all the way home in reverse. id give my right arm to take a ride in that car. im in danville VA.
Wild looking car that wrap around chrome front bumper! Eye-popping shine they don't make them like that today! Carbon fiber and paint progress you shouldn't have to lose the good things
I was not aware that the Air Grabber was available on the 71. I had a 70' 383 Mopar with one and loved it. I wish I never got rid of it. Nice sounding car. Would love to see the engine. :-)
My favorite b body mopar. Love the loop bumper flat top wheel wells, and no stupid bolt on antlers on the trunk. The only thing I would change is the door handles. The flush e body cuda handles would have looked better.
Someone needs to start a new company and bring back these old Mopars (mainly Plymouth) by making new cars that look exactly the same as the original cars. Making the bodies lighter, but stronger, and out of a material that won rust, and still within a reasonable cost. The steering, suspension, and handling of the cars should be brought up to modern standards. The interior should however look mostly original to back then. A manual transmission should definitely be an option, and of course, the Hemi engine should be an option, but unfortunately, the car would require all this emissions crap on it, regardless of engine. It would still be an awesome car, though.
Yes, the orange inserts are original. This RR is owned by a friend, that has owned it for 37 yrs. It will glue you to the seat, when six-pack kicks in.
fastest i got in my 71RR back in 74 was 150mph sorta floated had air grabber also plus spoiler on back blue with white stripe sold it for house downpayment $4k but the, house today now over $1m ill to b uy.

There we go, finally, a big block mopar with a 4 speed.
After the 1970 model the body style is ugly for 71-72. Love the 68 69 and 70 body style.
@@christopherarnett2851 opinions.
@@christopherarnett2851 That's what I've always said about the 70 coronet. Ugly face, nice body.

He pulled off the edge so he could leave it neutral and the car wouldn't roll.

Were all the 60s, & 70s v8 cars all cammed up from the factory? Or are all these beefy sounding cuz they're souped up? I love that off-kilter rythem.

No way it came with the orange interior and it needs the strobe stripe!
Factory air dash - no air available on V code , no compressor clearance - hood fit is awful on driver’s side

Nice car but 70 is my favorite body style .
I had a 70 when I was a kid, old mopars were cheap then should have stockpiled them, the 70 was great but I like this one best
