In the video I only used 2 TBSP of cocoa powder and sugar to make the paste....by mistake!! But it still turned out great :) I would use the 4 TBSP of each like the recipe calls for though for full flavor!!
🤣🥰….it’s all about the love that someone puts into a dish😉
Thank you Lisa for sharing , I do so thank you!❤
Pioneer Woman dish! I love it…I have it also
My grandmother's name was Pearl too...we called her Ma Pearl and she was a great cook...her biscuits were awesome...hope to try this recipe one day...thank you for sharing...

My MeeMaw and mother made Fudge Pudding cake. I checked her recipe; I finished watching your Video yours is more a custard I will be making this thanks Lisa. My MeeMaw's is like a Molten Lava cake the fudge is liquid. Mom said that this was a wartime favorite. Love it.
Looking forward to trying this. Looks yummy!
If seeing Harlan’s reaction to Gran’s Custard Recipe is any clue, I’m sure it will be a fantastic hit in our family. Thank you so much Lisa for sharing this recipe with us!!!
Hey girl! You popped up in my feed. You helped me to make my first t-shirt quilt and I went on from there! Good to see you with another YT channel! Linda in Illiinois
That’s how I found her🥰 it’s the same channel. She changed the name & is adding additional content ❣️

Wow- that looks amazing 😍 thx for sharing ❤️
Looks yummy. I'll have to give it a go.
Thank you so much for sharing!! Can’t wait to try it. My grandmother always left out an ingredient when she gave me a recipe. I guess it was top secret.
looked good
Oh this looks so good. I can’t make it until after my daughter’s wedding or I won’t fit into my dress!
My grandma was the same way about her Martha Washington chocolate cherry candy! She wouldn't even let you watch her make! Lol true story!
Hahahaaaa!!!! ♡♡♡
I love, love custard. As for chocolate...well, let's get started!!! Thank you, dear Lisa, for sharing a family treasure with us.
That looks SOOO yummy... I hope I can be a creative Gran for my grands... they call my Gran too! I am excited to know about yours :) I didn't realize I hadn't subscribed either... but I have now :)
I think a lot of our grams cooked/baked that way...I know mine did. I LOVE silicone spatulas. I'll have to try it out soon. I've only done vanilla custard. Custards remind me of bread pudding for whatever reason.
yum. I want to make this. My grandma cooked the same way, never measured a thing, but created a masterpiece and encouraged me to do the same. don't you just love it lol
My mother was like that. I'm the only one who can make her biscuits and cornbread stuffing. I would watch her put the ingredients in the bowl and then take the bowl from her and measure each ingredients. She would laugh at me but I was determine to figure it out.
This looks delicious...and healthy. Beautiful tribute to your Gran too.. "I carry your heart, I carry it in my heart." e.e. cummings. ; )
try with special dark chocolate coco!
Ohhhh, yum!
My Grandma cooked like that, so it was hard for her to teach me.
I would try this recipe. Where do I get the recipe.
@@cherylrodriguez1957 it's in the description box of this video :)
Lisa, I am sorry but what is AP flour?
@lindagilmore8352 all purpose :)
My granny never measured anything.
Your recipe says 4 tbsp cocoa and sugar but the video says 2 tbsp.Which is it please?
@DaleLeech it's supposed to be 4 hahaha!! But it was good using two!!
Thank you 😊
