14TH COMMENT I'M EARLY ASFLIP AGAIN 👊. I mean it's cool losing weight and maintaining your health brother Allen Parr because I lost weight this year in my senior year of college. God bless you and your families I really appreciate your Christ centered and Scripturally accurate content because it's always good work for the furtherance of The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ 🙏❤️. This has nothing to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college student. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of but not macro or micro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant.

ATHEISM AIN'T GOT NOTHING NEW OR BETTER TO OFFER THAN THE VERY RELIGIOUS BELIEFS THEY'RE CRITICAL OF SO IT'S HYPOCRISY AT IT'S FINEST 😂. Hello this is for all you Atheists, unbelievers and skeptics. I'm going to address a few misconceptions and lies about God's Character and His Word. The Bible doesn't support chattel slavery or anything else Immoral. Ok so Atheists and unbelievers say God is either Immoral, incompetent or not responsible so let's see what The Scriptures actually say. God revealed himself and created a nation in a real, historical context. It was a world with a slave-based economy, with city states often at war with each other, with polygamous marriages to ensure the continuation of family lines. The laws of the Old Testament regulate this behaviour. Slaves are to be treated humanely (Exodus 21:11). They are given rights and not seen as mere possessions. Hebrew slaves were able to buy their own freedom. Human trafficking is condemned (Exodus 21:16). In contrast to the law code of Babylon, Old Testament Israel was a light to the nations. The Old Testament law and narratives do not stand alone. Jesus is now the best example of what we read. So the moral teaching of the Bible cannot be summarised by a quote taken out of context from the Old Testament to demonize God and His Word. Slavery was permitted in Old Testament law but it was regulated by God giving the Israelites instructions on how to fairly and humanely treat their slaves (it was like indentured servitude where someone could work for you if they owed debts or needed income not cruel like chattel slavery). God allowed the people of Israel to own slaves since they themselves has already experienced over 400 years of generations of Egyptian slavery and knew how inhumane it was to be beaten, overworked and taxed so God set them apart from other nations and cultures around them by giving them a fair way to treat their slaves since slavery had already existed in the world but it doesn't mean God condoned it just used it for His Will to bring Good And in the light of the whole scriptural teaching, we find the reasons for its ultimate abolition (Ephesians 6:9; Colossians 4:1-3; Philemon 15-16 and Galatians 3:28). The Word of God provided the moral standard against slavery in the Roman Empire and against the slave trade in the New World.
But what of genocide or holy war in the book of Joshua? Several things could be pointed out. The use of warfare in the ancient world did not always mean literal total destruction, even when events are described in such terms. Furthermore, the book of Joshua does not describe a genocide. It is not a race who are being wiped out, as in genocide, but a religious practice which was often appalling and degrading. Those who repent (like Rahab from Jericho or Ruth) are not destroyed but become part of Israel. It is not the racial group that is in view but their "detestable practices".
However, after all is said, we must still acknowledge that God brought judgment on the nations of Canaan. It is not our place as believers isn't to sugar-coat the Bible. For some skeptics, this is enough to make God a moral monster. But the fact is that Jesus continued to affirm that God is a Judge who will bring a future judgment on all peoples and all nations. God’s judgment will be just. The list of Old Testament stories rejected by critics often leads to a similar dismissal of the New Testament teaching of Jesus on the existence of hell.
After all, what was the Flood of Genesis or the conquest of Joshua if not a glimpse of future judgment? Hell does not demonstrate cruelty on God’s part, but it does demonstrate His Holiness and our moral accountability. Perhaps this is the real reason many people rail against the God of the Bible? It is not that they think He is a moral monster, but that they are afraid He is a moral Judge, and that has implications for our behaviour now. God is an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being and we as His creatures have Eternal souls and spirits so the punishment for our sins against Him must therefore also be Eternal but so must the reward for righteousness that's why He sent His Son Jesus to live a perfectly righteous and sinless Life (which none of us could ever possibly expect to do) suffer the humiliating and torturous death of crucifixion to shed His Own Blood willingly so that all who willingly accept His gift of salvation by grace through faith in Him will be saved and given Eternal life because that's what God wants is for us to willingly accept His gift of salvation and choose life. Exodus 21:20-21 literally speaks about capital punishment befalling anyone who mistreats their slaves so yes people are taking Scripture out of context to demonize God who literally promises that slaves who are mistreated under someone else's authority is to be avenged. When we hear the word “slavery” we think of innocent human beings, kept prisoner for life, having no rights under law and so reduced to animals. This is clearly immoral because it is unjust: the slave has done nothing to deserve the treatment.
The situation described as “slavery” in the Bible was nothing like this. It is more accurately described as one of indentured servitude. Many “slaves” were indentured servants, working for a term of years
Some other “slaves” were prisoners. There were no prisons. Prisoners had to work to live like everyone else. Some had life sentences. Some served a term and were released.
People didn't beat their good slaves but treated them well and protected their assets thus.
But no matter how rebellious a slave was, you couldn't just beat them to death. And if you knocked out their tooth or damaged their eye then you had to set them free. (Exodus 21:26). God wasn't using what other nations did because He wanted to set His Chosen People of Israel apart from the cruel, inhumane and unjust systems other cultures had so He gave them a fair way to treat their slaves and servants.
There is a lot of ignorance on this topic which is understandable given the age we live in but it's not the nefarious set up we think of when we think of modern slavery. The question Atheists must ask themselves is how come the Jews aren't being accused of slavery and human trafficking if they're guilty of it in The Bible and why would white slave owners rip out pages from The Old and New Testament Scriptures to justify their owning blacks as slaves if The Bible already justified slavery?

@@justingary5322 do you got it Exodus along okay let me tell you something The Exodus people Jewish people wasn't black if you go to Jewish country now those people are black. Okay and we live by grace alone and faith alone. It feeds into a tonight was saved by grace not of works it's a free gift from God that no one can boast!. What was saved by God he give us his grace freely. Will you coming up with slavery will not sleep okay the servants. We choose to follow God it's our free will but we don't have to but we choose to. I think you need to stop cherry picking the Bible because in the Book of Revelation you cannot add or take away scripture cuz your name will be blotted out of the Book of Life. But there is no black there is no race in heaven everybody is in one waist there's no blacks It Snow White there's some bucks to get to know Jews is All One race. That's a truth and that is the fact. When I go to heaven I want to see black people I won't see Mexican I want to see Jewish people We Are All One. I think you really need to sit down with the Bible and study it for yourself because there's no black and white in heaven there's none of that. When I even atheists like you in Genesis 1:1 in the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth. John 1:1 says in the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God he was God in the very beginning. You willing to pick up your the Bible and read it for yourself

Congratulations! Sounds like you've been doing keto. I've been on a keto diet since October and have lost 25 pounds so far - and I'm 62 years old. But it didn't start with determination - it started with prayer. First I prayed for repentance and sanctification, and I was able to repent from some very old sins. It seemed like that helped greatly in my relationship with God, and I asked him to help me to eat properly and to become more healthy. The Bible says the body is a temple, and my temple was in pretty bad shape. I felt led to the ketogenic diet and proper exercise, and today the temple is undergoing some pretty drastic renovation. So, while I agree with what you had to say in your video, I think we should always remember that all good things are gifts from God, and the starting point for any good work is to ask His help.

For some reason I love to stay up late doodling around or doing things that I could have done earlier during the day. I know what to do, I just need to be discipline. Thanks for a great topic.

I think he lost 35 lbs in 90 days because he was plant-based dieting. Vegetables suppress appetite. I've done it many times myself and am doing it right now. It's like a miracle diet. I know the secret. Eat a bowl of vegetables 1st meal of the day and you will feel a suppressed appetite, appetite control, and energy. And the weight comes off. I could not do it any other way. And I'm not saying vegan or vegetarian. I put tuna, egg, or salmon, avocados, olives, ... on my salads. Some vegetables are frozen and steamed... Some of my salads have weighed 2.5 lbs and I still lose weight. Check out Natural Weight Loss Mastery by Ryan Adams.

I dumped the unequally yoked weight, got back to being more steeped in the word, started IF and keto and lost 85 LBS of physical weight. Love and appreciate this video brother. Last year I had to accept I was very over weight and tired of it. My husband has always been fit and I would think to myself, it's not fair he does his best to be fit for me and for the Lord but I don't do the same for my husband and for God (on top of it I also started to feel unwell because of the state of my over weightness). I finally decided to change things in my life, and the things that kept me going is reminding myself every day that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of POWER, LOVE, and SELF CONTROL. I would remind myself, God says I am in charge of my flesh, my flesh does not have power over me but must submit to me through the power Jesus has given us. I simply started fasting completely a few days each week for my health, and on other days I would still enjoy food I liked but forced myself to eat very little of the bad stuff. What I found through my journey was amazingly more beautiful than weight loss, but I found myself stronger spiritually, more patient, more kind, because really what we practice when we discipline our body to lose weight is SELF CONTROL. And that is one of the most important things a Christian must have in their life. I weighed 190 lbs June 2021, and today I am at 143 lbs. My goal is to lose another 20 lbs more. When you follow the Lord, and read His word every day, everything in life fills you with joy and gratefulness and peace. Blessings!

This is awesome news Allen! I had a massive weight loss in my teenage years and it was motivated by the world and by bad mental health behavior, now my weight loss and weight maintenance revolves around appreciating everything I eat and making food from scratch. I like junk food, but also I have made it a goal to enjoy a brownie with some fruit instead of smashing a whole pan of brownies. Its been the most successful method for me, but also not thinking about food all the time and caring about being nourished has played a huge part in my spiritual growth as well.

As always, Brother Allen is right about everything he said! ❤️💪🙏👍
MY “O.M.A.D” DIET (One Meal A Day)
I’m 64, white male, retired, in good health.
With this structured fasting/feeding, I’m losing 6-7 lbs. per month.
Closing in on my target BMI for my height.
And yes, I do have approval from my doctor.
      WEEKDAYS:
      INTERMITTENT FASTING: 20/2 (6-8pm)
      WEEKENDS:
      PROLONGED FASTING: 40 HRS (Fri. 8pm - Sun. 12pm)
      Start with this progression:
      1. Skip breakfast first. Then, after a week or so,
      2. Skip both breakfast & lunch.
      Progressively:
      16/8 first week
      18/6 second week
      20/4 third week
      22/2 fourth week
      Ketosis, Autophagy, whatever.
      It works.
And it becomes easier with time.
And you don’t need to pay some random “doctor” on the internet for a magic pill, powder, snake oil, or whatever.
Steven Gundry actually admitted this toward the end of one of his “pitch videos”.
That if you eat right and fast effectively, you don’t need his stuff.
Now I’ve learned much from these very helpful experts-I’m not putting them down.
And I’m not saying their stuff is harmful or doesn’t do as advertised.
But most of the stuff for sale on YT, etc. is just to allegedly make it EASIER for you to lose weight.
But with fasting and proper eating, you CAN do it yourself!
But then, I’m just another random guy in the internet.
Except I don’t have anything to sell.
      Good Luck! 💪

Jen, one the great health benefits from structured fasting/feeding is that your body becomes “detoxified”.
You don’t crave unhealthy foods-and you don’t need to count calories!
You’ll lose the taste for bad foods and develop a taste for good, clean, healthy foods.
Below is my general, categorical, diet structure.
I’m 64, a single man, living alone, so I can eat what I want, when I want.
      And I also enjoy cooking.
Mostly oven roast, Dutch oven, cast-iron cookware and steaming.
I center my dinners around a different vegetable every meal.
      Vegetable, 1st.
      Animal protein, 2nd.
      Carbs, 3rd.
      Fruit 4th. (I love kiwis & berries)
Variety in meal planning keeps it interesting.
      I LOVE seafood! (Salmon especially)
I fill-in my protein with different chicken recipes.
I don’t digest red meat particularly well, so I only eat it occasionally.
I believe God has graciously provided us the simple means for spiritual, mental & physical health.
Doing what we all should be doing anyway:
Daily Bible study, prayer, fasting and eating the best foods from the bountiful Earth as He has given us.
Let me know if you have any other questions, Jen!
      In Christ,
      Nello
      MY DIET STRATEGY:
      1. Zero processed (no preservatives or added ingredients)
      2. Minimal dairy (butter, yogurt, goat milk)
      3. Minimal carbs (oatmeal, chickpea pasta, whole grains-no bread)
      4. Moderate fruit (blueberries, strawberries kiwi, etc.)
      5. Moderate legumes, nuts (all beans, walnuts, almonds, etc.)
      6. Moderate eggs, wild caught salmon, seafood, fatty fish, breast-meat chicken, bison (occasionally).
      7. Maximum plant-based (all greens, vegetables)

Allen Great clip - I lost 22 kgs last year doing Barbell Strength Training and a calorie restricted diet and determination is so important
I like how you said to get someone to be accountable to because I think a lot of people make the mistake of thinking they ought to be able to do it on their own even though I worked hard I could not have done it on my own God helped me, my psychologist helped me and my personal trainer helped me - they all taught me as well. I really like the scripture you used and how you broke it down - I am still working on my diet and working on not overeating, compulsively eating - I also really liked it when you said "make my body do what it doesn't feel like doing"
Another vital component is staying in the Word of God and having scripture memory verses to be in your mind when you need strength knowiing scripture by heart helps you mentally in the moment - in the heat of the furnace of temptation or pressure or fear

1 Timothy 4:8 “for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.”
Pastor Allen, thank you for sharing this wonderful message!! 1 Timothy 4:8 was one that jumped-out at me when prioritizing physical health in my mid-40’s. Quickly, with God’s help, I was able to recognize how vanity had usurped my fitness endeavors…(my need to be noticed and affirmed was apparent). Getting my heart set upon Him for those real needs of security and identity were crucial.
This C.S. Lewis quote almost couples pretty well with 1 Timothy 4:8 in this… “Aim at heaven and you will get earth thrown in. Aim at earth and you get neither.”
God will provide the strength we need in our weakness…spiritual, emotional, and physical. Let’s keep setting our minds on Him, allowing Him to lead it all. ☺️🙏🏼 God bless you, Allen!

Hey Allen Parr , I have been really blessed by this video, so this video literally touches all areas of life , it's not just for the weight loss but for your spiritual life & for making it to heaven- we need to apply discipline. Let us have the discipline so that we may not actually end up being disqualified because it's so easy to be caught up in the whole process of helping others , forgetting yourself and forgetting to put you first /to discipline yourself. So thank you so much for this amazing video I hope everybody has picked up something from it.

Thank you brother Allen. This video came in the right time. I am a youth leader at my local church and our youth and I have started an 8weeks weight loss challenge, which we have just completed week 3. Almost half way now, and some of us have started to get back into our old habits which you mentioned. But listening to your encouragement in this video, this will definitely help us in our weight loss journey. Determination, Direction & Discipline. Love it bro ❤. Blessings to you and your family.

Brother Allen thank you sooooo much for this video. First, I prayed to God to help me loose weight as I had horrible eating habits and was gaining weight at an astronomical speed. I then saw your video the first day it came out. Long story short, I called Coach JT, enrolled in the Empty Your Bucket transformation program and lost 30 lbs. I extended the program for an additional 6 weeks and I am now at my goal weight…40lbs down. I give all the glory to God…and I thank you for inspiring me to invest in my health and well being. Super big thanks to Coach JT and his Empty Your Bucket plan

Yes. I got tired of being fired and losing clients. Not having money to provide for my kids when they want simple things. Not being able to experience family and travel because of financial hardship. Wondering if my somewhat unyoked marriage will be a struggle forever. This video is just what I needed. I'm reading Rick Warren's book and he mentions about God seeing 40 days as a spiritually significant time. So Im trying to be really intentional with the next 40 days for my life. I can plan all day ..but talking action and being consistent is why I need God. This video was right on time for me.

Good day brother Allen. Congratulations on the weight loss, I know that this was and still is no easy task.
This video is so refreshing as apposed to the normal apologetics I listen to lol and I am so grateful that you decided to produce such great content. Thank you for taking out the time and effort to do so and may the Lord bless you, your family and ministry.
I am about to embark on a great journey ministry wise and my health and weight has truly been an issue for me and has stopped me from fully committing to ministry as I feel lead to take over our youth ministry at my local church but was in doubt because of my weight and energy levels and hey...I can handle jokes but the youth can be cruel especially on the topic of weight lol but I'll sacrifice for the sake of Christ lol
However, after watching this I am more determined than ever to make that lifestyle change and break the spirit of addiction and my body and mind's dependence/addiction to unhealthy eating habits. This is especially true in our 'black' congregations lol
I pray that the spirit of addiction is broken and cast out and that the flesh is crucified and the mind renewed in the almighty, addiction breaking name of Jesus Christ our saviour.
Blessings to all the saints and beloved all the way from Cape Town, South Africa

I started Keto in 2018 because I clearly heard the LORD Tell me that I did not take care of my health. It was an audible voice. I then researched on what I should do. I came across keto and tried it. I lost 31kg(68 pounds) in 6months. 1 COR. 6:19-20 are my motivation and the fact that I want this temple clean. I've never felt better. Asthma, allergies, high blood pressure, stomach acidity, Rheumatoid arthritis, chronic headaches all gone. Praise God

I am feeling stuck in the areas of self-esteem and medical issues. I left an abusive marriage, years ago, but have been dealing with the scars of rejection my whole life. With being diagnosed with thyroid issues, my weight has skyrocketed, and has become difficult to manage, even with medication.
I’m glad I saw this video, today. I want to be married again and have more kids, but decided yesterday to give up on that dream. I have resolved to fast today to rid my mind of negative thoughts, but I also need to make better choices. I have to start caring about me, even when others don’t. I have work that I need to do for the Lord, and I have a daughter that I need to be a healthy example for. All prayers are welcome. Thank you!

I noticed that eating larger meals earlier in the day actually sustains you more than eating multiple small meals throughout your entire day. Eating smaller meals throughout the day tends to lead to eating one large meal for dinner, which results in that food sitting in your gut during the night. And definitely cut out sugar, at least unnatural sugars, as much as you can.

Hi Mr. Parr. It does work. I tried the Daniel diet. I did it for about a week in a half. I noticed I lost 20 lbs is less than 2 wks! It was for spirit purposes ONLY. The rest is a bonus. I'm a very intelligent person but I have a disability that I really not ready to disclose at the moment. The thing about me is I love to stay busy since 19 y/o when myself because disabled. As of this video, I'm in my late 30s and I single. I just looking for just one women to be mines and vise-versa. I want to lose an additional 10 lbs. When I did it, I not even worrying about porn too much. I like the shadow boxing 🤣 and I know I a fighter NOT only for spiritual people but my mental health. If nothing happens, I should FINALLY get my degree! Great vid, sir. Thank you💯

14TH COMMENT I'M EARLY ASFLIP AGAIN 👊. I mean it's cool losing weight and maintaining your health brother Allen Parr.

The main thing that stops anyone from sanctification is obedience (lack thereof). We ask God to help us, then in the moment we don’t listen to His voice telling us that plate is too big, or not to eat the cake this time. God is speaking, but our ears grow tired of listening. I pray for Him to strengthen me and to help me obey. I’ll pray for those watching this video as well. God bless you on your journey Allen, and may He continue to use you to help others.
