Went back today to listen to review this video and in particular the recipe. What a fabulous and generous person you are to share this with us. I really appreciate how you explain the “recipe” and also show us your sweaters. Thank you again for all you do for us. What a generous gift you have given us ♥️♥️♥️
Hello Ivana. I just separated for the sleeves on my sport weight "In & Out" jumper. Let me just say that he directions are very easy to follow and it's turning out beautifully. I need to thank you. You have no idea how much this is teaching me about how a pattern is put together. I feel so liberated that I know how to do this now - and you taught it to us for free. You are such a blessing and an amazing knitter and generous lady. Thank you so much!!!! I will never forget you!
Such a joy when I find one of your videos! I wait until I have the right moment I can really relax to watch it. 💚 Thank you Ivana dear for this generous gift! Looking forward to knit this as soon as I finish some projects and the weather is more bearable to think about winter jumpers, (currently knitting summer things, although I do have a cachemire project on the needles too) would like to try the version with the broken rib stripes along the sleeve...your blog looks lovely, I love the sleek aesthetic. much Love 🌸and Light✨ Barbara
With this, my search for a clean, perfect uniform l/s t-neck is over. I am very, very grateful, Ivana. On my lap (in 98F fahrenheit heat, Los Angeles) is a self-drafted turtleneck, sleeveless and cut-in at the shoulders. After a few iterations, I think I finally have it. I'll do it over and over, in various gauges. You would look great in this. Eventually I will write it up, and will find a way to get it to you.
Thank you, Ivana, for this beautiful recipe. You’ve put so much effort and time into creating, knitting, and writing this recipe and I’m very appreciative of your generosity.
Such a generous, beautiful & passionate person. I am a beginner knitter (very late in life starter), and I have never knitted in the round. I have been admiring your sweaters and hoping that one day I will be skilled enough to attempt to knit myself one. Your In & Out Raglan will definitely inspire me. I will let you know how I go, and hopefully have some photos of a completed sweater. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe
Ivana, thank you for your generosity. A knit-along using this recipe sounds like an excellent idea. Or at least one that I will definitely be interested in.
Ivana- THANK YOU ❤ also, thank you for just being open and honest with who you are. So often I have been turning to you lately without you knowing! Our kids are about the same age and I’ve been struggling with some of the same things- my daughter is in the US ARMY and ughhhhh it’s hard!!!! Growing older is also hard! You are beautiful and classy and have so much to bring to the world! Thank you!!!!
Those are very kind words Heather... thank you. I completely understand what you feel regarding your daughter being in the army, yes it is very difficult. I wish her a safe time there, and to you a peaceful mind. All the blessings and good thoughts. Ivana ❤️
Ivana, I just checked out the pattern. I’ve never knit a sweater before, but this pattern made sense to me! I will certainly let you know should I have issues. The blog is beautiful. I hope that you enjoy blogging. I appreciate that you are not commenting to a format before you know if it suits you. I admire that quality. Thank you!🌸
Hi Ivana, I'll be sure to try out this recipe. I've read it and it's a really good guide and will certainly help beginner knitters to venture in knitting a sweater for themselves. Thank you so much for your time and generosity! I felt really flattered and honoured with your request to read your pattern, thank you for reaching out 🙏I'm sure it will be a success! And thank you for your "sacrifice" to model in blastering heat while wearing a woollen sweater 🙏 I'm having the same issue, because I need to photoshoot a winter shawl for a pattern release and just the thought of putting it on my shoulders and neck... geezzz, I start to melt!🥵 Kisses, Naná
Oh you are so kind Ivana! What a mathematical feet that would have been - all those numbers. I’m just finishing up a self drafted raglan myself, it’s so nice to have something that fits well. Very cool that you’ve made it in a formulation mode where you swatch your gauge and then just plug in the numbers - such a logical and adaptable way to do this. I usually stick my old iPhone, it’s so old I’m sure there’s dinosaur poo stuck to it, on the window, hit the timer and take a couple of shots. Strike the same pose and it’s all done in 60secs. A couple of weeks ago I did a test knit so I wanted to use a better phone so I took my husband down the beach for him to take photos and it was just so awkward. He kept saying smile, loosen up, I was freezing and stiff as could be. Anyway I got home and realised I had the jumper on back the front 😣 so I had to head down and do it all over again and it was getting even colder, my nose was red, I was shivering, yeah, not fun 😬😆 Lovely as always, thanks for sharing, Karen 💕
Oh Karen the things we do for good photos :) I tried to do the best I could with numbers but that's where other knitters come in now because all of our bodies are different and I have tested it only in my size or one size larger. Kisses and stay warm. Ivana ❤
Thank you so much for taking the time to create the recipe and share with us. Your recipe will be my tool to start creating my own designs. Many blessings ❤🙏🏾
Thank you Ivana for so much effort and time devoted to your recipe! You're so generous to share it with other knitters! I'm going to cast it on for sure, once this heatwaves are over and I can come back to sweater knitting again. It's so relaxed and seems comfortable to wear with everything. I'd love to try knitting one for myself. Will let you know! In the meantime, I can get excited finding the perfect yarn for it. Thanks again!
Ivana, absolutely love your podcast and Vlog. What a wonderful gift you have given to the knitting community. Have you considered doing this as class knit along. I think you would have several interested in joining. How about you list it as a donate what you want/can knit along, which will allow everyone to join, but also compensate you for the time you put into putting it together. You have a beautiful soul, and it shows in all of your makings. Thank you for what you provide to this community.❤
Hi Ivana, I have been watching you for awhile. Thanks so much for being yourself. I really appreciate it. We all struggle and there is nothing wrong with that, we are human and mortal. Good for you that you accept it and have ways to cope and a supportive family. Thanks for the recipe. I’ll have a go at it this fall. Too much going on at our farm in the summer to start a project like this. I live in canada. We have an acreage with angora sheep, chickens, cows, horse and dogs as well as a small orchard and vegetable gardens. Really love listening to you. ❤
Ivana, your recipe looks fantastic, thank you so much. Always love seeing your turtle neck sweaters, exactly my style. Most sweater patterns have such big sleeves which i really don't like. So kind of you to share your design with us. I will knit an In and Out Raglan sweater very soon. You are in and out beautiful. Greetings from Vancouver, Judy
Investing your time and doing this for us is just amazing Ivana ❤ thank you so much I will check it carefully to start thinking for yarn to use it. Love to see your garden and your spinning too
A huge THANK YOU for the In and Out Raglan Sweater pattern. I have made my first sweater using your formula. I knit a red Christmas sweater in Drops Nord with rib detailing down the sleeve. It fits perfectly. I can see many more in my future in different yarn weights and collar designs. I love a funnel neck collar so may play around with that shape for my next one. I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to put this recipe out into the knitting community. Perfect for Vancouver (Canada) winters!
Thank you very much for this message... you have made my day. I'm so glad you like it and were able to follow the recipe. Wishing you a very happy new year. ❤️
@@therepublicofme And a Happy New Year to you. IF it is not too much to ask could you please clarify, on one on your podcasts, (I watch them all) the picking up the sleeve instructions. I was a little confused so I used my normal method. I am sure it is me, not your instructions, as the rest of the pattern is so clear. I enjoy learning new techniques and this recipe has opened up so many possibilities 👏🥰
Thank you Ivana for your precious gift!! I' m very greatful and I'll surely try to knit it but not now...in Italy is so so so hot at the moment. Thank you again!!!❤❤❤❤
What a gift to the knitting community! I’ve long thought there should be something like this and here it is. Now I’m going to search for various ways to do raglan increases to add interest there. Thank you so much for your time and this gift to us all.
Hi Ivana, thank you so much for all the work and effort you put into this sweater recipe! As soon as the greatest heat is over, I'll knitting a sweater with your recipe. For the normal temperature I'll make one with a wide neckline and for winter one with a turtleneck. I'll tell you than, how it fits me. Have a nice week, greetings from Austria Martina😊
Ivana dear! Thank you so much for this generous gift. I just watched this video and immediately went to your blog and read through the recipe. I have NO questions whatsoever! I could pick up and knit right now with no anxiety or confusion! I KNEW patterns didn’t have to be so complicated! Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much Ivana for this great gift. It is so generous of you. I read quickly through your receipe and can say: it ist very well written absolutly claer. Again: Thank you so much❤. I am really greatful to find your amazing podcasts. All the best to you and your familiy. Best wishes from the North of Germany. Take care❤
You're excitement is palpable and I am thrilled that you have gone to such a huge effort to create this for us. So very kind. I am looking forward to having a go at making one . Thank you so much xx Take care in this heat: it sounds just awful x
I am so excited to try this “recipe”. Thank you so much for sharing this with the knitting community. I am 76 years and would love to print the instructions but am having difficulty with the chart, it only prints one half of the page. I hope I am not doing anything illegal.😢 I just find it easier to read for a hard copy. I stated my age so you will understand my usage of the computer and to see if there is an easy way to print it. Once again, a big thank you for sharing this great gift.
Hi, I'm so happy you like the recipe. Regarding the printing, the only thing I can think of is: -right click on the chart -choose "save image as" After you save the image, open it separately and try printing then. And no, you are not doing anything illegal :), it's just that blogs are often not optimised for printing. Hope you have a good week. Ivana ❤️
Another thank you from me. I have just ordered some fingering weight yarn and looking forward to starting your projects. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to your fortnightly podcasts now. You seem to be so organised now and producing wonderful content. I am so glad that you look so well this week, so hopefully you are getting better sleep again. Take care, and thank you again for your generosity and charm.
I wanted to let you know how your art style has inspired me. Using several yarns and colours together has not been part of my creative life but I took your basket idea with several yarn Colours and types of fibres to create amazing fabric. Thank you for presenting your work on line. I have just about watched all your podcasts from the beginning and find nuggets of gold in each one. Thank you, thank you for sharing. 🧶🇨🇦
Awe, I appreciate your efforts so much ! 💜thank you. I am looking forward to using your recipe with some yarn that needs some love and is patiently waiting to become a beautiful sweater/jumper.
Thank you for your gift to us! I have started mine yesterday 7/16. Even though i have knitted for years this will be my first sweater thank you again and i will post a pic of me wearing it when it is completed.
I’ve been admiring those sweaters for so long. Thank you for sharing your recipe. I appreciate how much brainwork and time this must have taken you! 🤯 I have managed to print most of it from your blog, some pages didn’t come out properly, but that’s probably my printer set up. I think I will have enough to guide me through, and I took a screen shot of the table of stitch counts. I have some things to finish right now, but I’m looking forward to casting on in the autumn. Thank you again for all your work. 🥰
Margaret, I’ m not sure that it is your printer set up, as I couldn’t print it out fully either. I also printed the stitch count chart from a screenshot. Good luck with your knitting.
@@anniecambridge1714 I'm not sure if the blog posts are made for printing, but maybe you could just copy the whole text and paste it into a normal word document, and then try printing. I hope that will help. Ivana ❤
@@anniecambridge1714 Yes, it’s probably because it’s not in pdf document format. I was able to print the chart from the screen shot too. Go me! Where there’s a will there’s a way. 😅
Oh wow!!❤❤ just a big grateful Thank You! I can't follow a pattern to save my life😂. I love them for inspiration and new techniques, but for some reason my brain can't read all the instructions coherently, and I always miss some pertinent detail. I worked in graphics and coding as a spatial analyst and cartographer .... So, I turn everything into a map and spreadsheet! Only then can I navigate the 3d landscape I am trying to produce in fiber🙃. I am definitely going to use this wonderful raglan canvas for all the techniques and crazy ideas I want to try this year! I will definitely share whatever sweaters come out of it🌹. Off to your blog! How wonderful!
Thank you so much. I totally get your pattern struggle, I'm the same... all instructions confuse me and then I panic :) I hope you find this easy to follow. All the blessings. Ivana ❤️
Thanks Ivana - just amazing to receive this pattern from you. Can hardly wait to give this a try - already have my yarn and am swatching! My mouth was watering watching you harvest those lucious looking tomatoes.
Thank you so much! You have inspired me so to start knitting a raglan Tneck. I ordered the Cascade 220 worsted in Raspberry. It’s really lovely yarn to knit with. I’m thrilled with your recipe as my hope for proper proportions Finally!! ❤
I am happy that you took that step. Your sweaters look really nice. Maybe more close to winter i will try it. Feedback will then follow. Thank you fof not even asking money for it. ❤
Thank you very much Ivana, I was looking for a simple pattern to make a sweater as soon as this hot summer will allow me (I live in Italy). I just discovered you and followed you immediately. Now I will look for the right wool and if I can do it I will tag you. Thanks again
Ivana, I want you to take the opportunity to watch this podcast just posted. Joy resonates in your voice and body language as you reach out to others offering your knowledge and skill thus empowering them to meet this creative task. But, the best gift you bring to the table is in demonstrating a generosity of spirit. As for myself, hindered somewhat with alexia , this is a tremendous help. Thank you
Deepest thanks for sharing freely your time and effort to create the recipe. I look forward to casting on and making the perfect turtleneck with some new to me techniques in raglan increases and short rows. You are so generous and inspiring.
Your sweater recipe is fabulous! I write patterns and could easily follow it. I love the chart. It will be such a great tool when I cast on a sweater in the fall. Thank you for all the time and effort that you put into this. I know how much work it was.
Thanks so much for your time and efforts in bringing this sweater recipe to us. ❤ They are so beautiful on you and inspire me to make. Excited to try and think it will help me build confidence with sweater knitting and making adjustments. love the KAL idea!!! love with all you share on your podcast❤✨❤✨❤👌🏾
Thank you so much for your generosity to write the recipe! I'll definitely make the jumper. I really like the one with the line on the side of the sleeves. Maybe doing the neckline with the crocheted neck you created and showed us in one of your previous vlogs?
That's what's great about this recipe... it's really a blank canvas and you could mix and match different details to create what you really want. Ivana ❤️
I just found your podcast today and will be watching all episodes. Thank you for your grace and lovely pattern inspiration. I love a good simple sweater where yarn does all the work. Thank you once again Denise from Olive Park Yarns
Ivana, what a lovely gift! We are camping now but plan on printing this recipe when I get home. I have some perfect cascade 20/20 to use to make this. I can appreciate the work and time you put into this and again I am grateful. Also your tomatoes look amazing. I have just begun harvesting them at home. We live north of Seattle in zone 7 and while we had a damp march it has been very dry and hot this summer. We could really use some rain. I subscribed to your blog and look forward to following that as well. Warm regards, Karyol
I just wanted to say how much I love your videos. You are so natural and lovely. I also love your knitting and weaving. I always look forward to spending a relaxing half hour with you. Your raglans are beautiful. I will definitely love trying your recipe soon. Thank you for making it for us all. xxx
Thank you for you generosity, Ivana! I am looking forward to working your recipe. I have always knit using a step by step pattern (adding my own twist and modifications), but never one that leaves me so much room to customize. I cannot wait to give it a try! Again, thank you! You are always a joy to watch! ❤
Thank you so much for this recipe! Can’t wait to try it out, looks clear and easy to understand and have been looking for something like this for ages ❤
You're so generous to share this all, such a gift! I'm sitting on my back porch with coffee, hand processing a small bit of wool from my own farm and listening to you talk about the jumper, dreaming that maybe soon I will make one from your recipe ❤ Thank you Ivana
Thank you for sharing your sweater recipe. I had a chance to read through the blog post and it's a pattern! You did a marvelous job. I found it very easy to understand. There will be one ( or two) my needles very very soon! 🧶 Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you so much! I will definitely be trying your sweater recipe. I love the classic look of all the versions you've shared in your podcasts. If you were to do a knit-along for the recipe, I would most definitely and happily participate!
Thank you for sharing your raglan recipe. I love to freestyle my raglans and do it for summer short sleeve versions as well. A raglan is so easy to custom fit to your own personal preferences ❤
Thank you so much for this recipe, so generous of you. I will get swatching so once I break up for the summer I can get knitting. I have just read your blog post and I found it easy to understand and follow and as you say the possibilities are endless. Thank you again 😊❤️

Hello my dear! Your turtle necks are so fabulous!! So great that you have taken the time to write it down! ❤❤
Thank you dear Selma ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recipe with us. Your sweaters are beautiful.
You are so welcome ❤️❤️❤️
I am so excited to try this “recipe”. Thank you so much for sharing this with the knitting community. I am 76 years and would love to print the instructions but am having difficulty with the chart, it only prints one half of the page. I hope I am not doing anything illegal.😢 I just find it easier to read for a hard copy. I stated my age so you will understand my usage of the computer and to see if there is an easy way to print it. Once again, a big thank you for sharing this great gift.
Hi, I'm so happy you like the recipe.
Regarding the printing, the only thing I can think of is:
-right click on the chart
-choose "save image as"
After you save the image, open it separately and try printing then.
And no, you are not doing anything illegal :), it's just that blogs are often not optimised for printing.
Hope you have a good week.
Ivana ❤️
@@therepublicofme If you change the layout to landscape it will capture the chart. Hope that helps.
@@vivianmarkle3039 thanks for that tip, I had no idea ❤
It is extremely clear. Thank you so much
Thank you very much... that's a great relief.
That is so very kind Annie, thank you. I'm looking forward to see what you make. Ivana ❤️
Thank you very much Ruth... that is very kind. Ivana ❤️
Awe, I appreciate your efforts so much ! 💜thank you. I am looking forward to using your recipe with some yarn that needs some love and is patiently waiting to become a beautiful sweater/jumper.
Thank you very much Rita, I'd love to see what you make. Ivana ❤️
Thanks for sharing all of your hard work ❣️
Best wishes on your blog.
You are very welcome Diane... it was my pleasure ❤️
Thank you for your gift to us! I have started mine yesterday 7/16. Even though i have knitted for years this will be my first sweater thank you again and i will post a pic of me wearing it when it is completed.
That is so very exciting Kimberly... I'm looking forward to seeing it. Ivana ❤️
Thank you for sharing - can’t wait to try my own!
Oooh, I'd love to see yours... I follow you on instagram and love your style. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi, Ivana. Thank you for this sweater recipe… I may try to make one❤️
You are so welcome Carol... I'd love to see it if you do. ❤️
Thank you very much... I'm looking forward to see the one you make. Ivana ❤️
I totally get your pattern struggle, I'm the same... all instructions confuse me and then I panic :)
I hope you find this easy to follow.
All the blessings.
Ivana ❤️
Thanks Ivana - just amazing to receive this pattern from you. Can hardly wait to give this a try - already have my yarn and am swatching! My mouth was watering watching you harvest those lucious looking tomatoes.
Oh that is so exciting Edythe... please keep me updated on your progress. ❤️
Thank you so much! You have inspired me so to start knitting a raglan Tneck. I ordered the Cascade 220 worsted in Raspberry. It’s really lovely yarn to knit with.
I’m thrilled with your recipe as my hope for proper proportions Finally!! ❤
Thank you very much, I hope you find the recipe easy to follow. Ivana ❤️
I am happy that you took that step. Your sweaters look really nice. Maybe more close to winter i will try it. Feedback will then follow. Thank you fof not even asking money for it. ❤
You are very welcome... I'm looking forward to know how it goes and what you make. Ivana ❤️
Thank you very much Ivana, I was looking for a simple pattern to make a sweater as soon as this hot summer will allow me (I live in Italy). I just discovered you and followed you immediately. Now I will look for the right wool and if I can do it I will tag you. Thanks again
Welcome to the channel Daniela. I can completely understand you as far as heat is concerned... it was 38 C here the other day :) ❤️

Thank you very much Sylvie ❤️
Thank you so much! I've placed the in and out sweater as my next project in-line. I already have the Cascade 220 fingering. I love your videos.
Oh that is so exciting... thank you ❤️
Ivana, I want you to take the opportunity to watch this podcast just posted. Joy resonates in your voice and body language as you reach out to others offering your knowledge and skill thus empowering them to meet this creative task. But, the best gift you bring to the table is in demonstrating a generosity of spirit. As for myself, hindered somewhat with alexia , this is a tremendous help. Thank you
As always, thank you for such kind words.
I struggle reading patterns, so I really do hope this recipe helps and is easier to understand.
Ivana ❤️
What a clever recipe. This will be perfect for autumn. Thank you🧶🤎
Thank you very much ❤️
Deepest thanks for sharing freely your time and effort to create the recipe. I look forward to casting on and making the perfect turtleneck with some new to me techniques in raglan increases and short rows. You are so generous and inspiring.
My pleasure Silvia 😊 ... thank you for your kind words. Ivana ❤️
Your sweater recipe is fabulous! I write patterns and could easily follow it. I love the chart. It will be such a great tool when I cast on a sweater in the fall. Thank you for all the time and effort that you put into this. I know how much work it was.
Oh that means a lot to me Debra, thank you very much for letting me know. Ivana ❤️
Thank you very much, that is so kind. Ivana ❤️
Ivana ❤️
Thank you SO much❤
You are so very welcome ❤️
I just found your podcast today and will be watching all episodes.
Thank you for your grace and lovely pattern inspiration. I love a good simple sweater where yarn does all the work. Thank you once again
Denise from Olive Park Yarns
Thank you very much Denise... same here. ❤️
Thank you so much Karyol.... enjoy the rest of camping. That used to be our family type of short break for years. Ivana ❤️
❤thank you🙏🥰

Thank you for you generosity, Ivana! I am looking forward to working your recipe. You are always a joy to watch! ❤
Thank you very much Jeanette.... I'm so looking forward to see you make one. Ivana ❤️
