Well done lovely, this is absolutely wonderful. I was aware of the challenge in the past but not everything else you have done during the challenge. I am 71 and suffered terribly until I had a hysterectomy at 42. I struggled with infertility for 9 years which was heartbreaking. On the subject of your pain threshold, I read recently that ladies with endometriosis generally have a higher pain threshold because their brain has learned to block out some pain. Keep up the good work. ❤
I had never even heard of endometreosis until a few years ago, but it really is more common than I ever realised. When I randomly started wearing yellow and got asked why I ended up talking to people about endometreosis and it turns out that multiple of my close friends have endo AND my Aunty and grandmother 😮😮 To have so many people close to me and related to me diagnosed and to have never even heard of it blew my mind. Awareness and ability to talk openly with people is so important. I take part in research studies relating to women's health whenever I can, last year I got to answer surveys as well as supply genetic materials where they are trying to figure out what causes endometreosis ( because apparently that's somewhat of a mystery which I think is hectic) but also if there are any risk factors (beyond being a human with a uterus). Fingers crossed for a more aware future and increased knowledge surrounding endometreosis and women's health in general 🤞💗💗
