Banff, located in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, is one part resort town and one part breathtaking natural retreat.
Life is a little different at over 4,600 feet in elevation-by the way, that makes Banff Canada’s highest town. During your Banff sightseeing, you’ll learn that the town’s residents and visitors are a lively bunch, and you’ll find the local businesses are perfect for this festive crowd. Choose from over 100 restaurants to dine at, or stop by one or two of the dozens of pubs and cafes for an inexpensive snack and drink after walking through the many boutiques. You can also enjoy a marvelous time after the sun goes down; try dancing the night away at the Dancing Sasquatch, or visiting one of Banff’s other nightclubs.
Banff National Park is known for its wildlife, some of which frequents Banff itself. You’ll often spot deer at the outskirts of town, some of which are friendly and curious about people. Once you say hello to the deer, make the drive to nearby Johnston Canyon, where you can take in snow-capped alpine scenery straight out of a fairy tale.
Warm up after all this time spent outside: head to the Banff Upper Hot Springs. This exquisite spa has treated visitors to hot water and stunning views of the Rockies for over a century, and will continue to do so for a century to come.

I’m feeling very lucky that Banff is just a 1.5 hour drive from where I live. It’s so nice to get a change of scenery there whenever I need.
We do have summer in Canada, believe it or not and Banff national park in summer is spectacular!

Banff is such a jewel of Canada. Love this video so much. Expedia, can please try to make a video of Calgary + Banff? Almost 90% of people visit Banff via coming to Calgary, so its better for people to know some of the nice places to go in Calgary also. And please also make a video of Vancouver, our Legendary city :)

Gencturk92 Calgary is nothing compared to Toronto or even Vancouver. Montreal is what you need to see!! In the fall time, when the leaves turn orange🍁
To be honest 90% of people visiting Banff landed in Calgary but maybe 10% spend any time there... Evan that seems like a stretch
Nothing to see in Calgary, it a nice city, but nothing interesting to see, so boring. Just go directly to the rockies, Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise etc...

I am Western Canadian, and have been a fan of Banff and the Canadian Rockies for 50 years, and I worked in Banff in the tourism industry for 10 years. I like this video, I think it portrays the Town and the Park very well, although you should make it clear that this video is filmed in winter, and in summer the snow melts in town by April 1, and from all but the highest mountain tops by August.
I am glad I was at Banff and Jasper a year ago. Beautiful place basked in splendor. And you will never feel like you are in a touristy crowded spot. It is just you and nature.
I visited personally from calgary alberta just 250 kms away. It's so beautiful place. On the way also so many picturesque place every where. Cheap & best place to visit whenever visit Canada.

Great call on including Sunshine mountain slopes. If you like skiing it is a fantastic 'hill'! I've been to quite a few in the Rockies and it's my favorite!

Tenzack YOGI its not too cold! Usually stays at a cool -20°C. Once you get into Northern Canada (ik its hard to believe we consider Banff “the south”) temperatures stay around -50°C in the coldest months 😂

I've been to all these places when I went to Banff, and I can say that it is beautiful and I recommend staying there for at least 2 weeks. Their hotels give you an old-time luxury feel, like the guy said, and their ski resort is the best. The highest mountain is scary at first, but after you ski on it for a while, it gets better. The hot springs are awesome, but I had to run to the pool because it was so cold😅. And for the night life... well... what's there to say that hasn't already been said? Have fun in Banff and have a good day!😘👋🏻

Canmore is a beautiful place . Used to drive from Calgary to buy the best smoked pork chops on the other side of the highway.
Banff is een gezellige stad. Tijdens de trip naar Jasper moet men zeker Lake Louise bezoeken. De natuur is prachtig en zeker de Rocky Mountains zijn de moeite waard.

What's the weather / Temperature like in late Sept/early Oct? Compared to England. I don't want to bring loads of jumpers and hatsif the weather is similar to here where i'd only need a cardigan at most :D
