Love the sound doing research for boosting my s550 this year and this helps alot, i know a lot of people doing like that sound but i love it, previous car was an import an this kinda satisfies my desire.

Nice video. I ended up changing my blow off valve on my 350 Z set up and it definitely makes a big difference and it is definitely a head turner and like you said it is extremely extremely loud and it’s definitely a head turner but out here in California it’s definitely a head turner for the cops to so I usually take it on and then put the old one back on because I can only take so much of it myself I think I only bought it back on when I’m doing shows or anything like that but for daily driving when I am driving it I go back to the original flutter just because it’s just a lot quieter but again awesome video and thank you for that not a lot of people like to post stuff Vortech stuff specially on the racing ball valve which I do recommend as well but only if you can stand a really high pitch sound especially if you have to drive on the freeway for a while.

How do you feel about the MaxFLow BOV now? I have had it on for about 6 months here in Cali and low-key it is ridiculously loud lol. The sound reflect off everything, cars, sidewalks, walls, and it is so loud! lol sounds good but loud
your bov seems so much louder than this guys tho, i’m thinking about getting the max flow bov for my camaro because the stock bov is quiet

So I just got my paxton installed few weeks ago and I ordered the race bov today. I see you didn't have to remove the front bumper. Were you doing data logs because of the new bov? I talked to my tuner and they said a tune revision was not necessary
Cars and Stuff you won't need a new tune. I had new rods and Pistons put in my car which is why I was datalogging
I have the stock one and went to 14 psi . so lund recommended to go with bv57 blowoff valve . after that I barley make 7-10 psi !!

Hi I have a Paxton 3.6 pulley I have the stock blow off valve and it sound the one you had stock I'm guessing I have 10 or 11 pounds of boost not holding back power or something?

Angel Ortiz it was for me. The one that game with the kit wouldn’t flow enough air and was letting boost back out of the intake causing compressor surge
i have a question if i put a stiffer spring in my bypass valve helps to increase boost? i think my bpv releases too much air more than it needs to be

How long did the install take you?
Cars and Stuff 30 minutes. I just turned the wheel to face inwards, popped the push pins out of the plastic fender well and it's accessible right through there. Kind of an awkward angle, but it can be done.
I had flutter on a cheap BOV went to a Tial 50mm and it solved it. But I HATED THE SOUND so I made a filter to go around it. It's cool when you open it up but around town its so annoying.
Why did you hate it?
Does changing the BOV change the way the car responds? Drivability, power?

Let Ramos honestly I'm not sure. I'm seeing around 12psi right now with no issues
I have an F1-A pushing 18-20 psi I need to upgrade to the Mondo or Big Red BOV but I really like the sound of this valve. Ive been trying to get more info on it.

Is the air that you're blowing off post maf sensor? if so the maf has already calculated that air and adjusted fuel based on that air. So all that metered air needs to be recirculated back into the intake system post maf to keep the target a/f ratio. This is why the original race valve has the port for the air to go back into the system. If you dont recirculate that already metered air, but you instead blow it off to atmosphere as you are with the new BOV, then you will run rich when not in boost which is another issue itself.
n9pe it's located right off supercharger so pre maf. The original still vented to atmosphere it just had a filter over the outlet
