Replace the dpf, get another wing in the same color, get a mot and sell it for a big profit! That car is a good spec and in good condition. About the Range Rover; just give it a go. If it doesn't work you can always sell it on. If the does work, your brilliant. Either way will make good content. They say you need a 4post lift to get the engine out of the older Mercedes A class, I've seen video's where people just take the entire front off. It's more work but not impossible.
Hi mate totaly agree I've been looking everywhere for another dpf and it's hard work but I'm sure I will get there just hope it don't get clogged up fast as its been mapped 😬 hopefully found a wing in colour which is a bonus then a mot and away we go.u never said what you reckon I paid 😀. I do need to sort the range rover as I got a report for it being abandoned 🙄🙄
I was hoping I could take the front of and out it goes bit no stupid range rover has a huge bar going across and it's all welded to the wings and chassis 😭😭😭
@@flippingcarsrepairs I already read it was £500 😜 Initially I would have guessed £1500 but again I don't know the UK market other than it's cheap. I recently found out there salvage companies in The Netherlands who buy wrecks cheap in the UK and sell the parts in The Netherlands. A Mini gen1 engine still does €500, no matter the mileage. Insane isn't it?
@@flippingcarsrepairs so here is an idea: you need to raise the back, lower the front and get the tallest hoist you can get. While not getting yourself killed. Maybe get the front wheels and suspension off to get it to sit low enough?
That nick in the tyre is not a fail mate. Just an advisory at worst. As long as no cords are exposed. Ask an MOT tester if you don't believe me.
Thanks for watching and I think you right so so tire needed good good
