I love the authenticity of this message - sharing 'the mess' is so valuable 🙌🙏💖

We all go through these messes. They always seem to get glossed over. I appreciate your strength and willingness to share it. ❤

You my dear are a courageous, authentic and beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing the real journey of business ownership. Maybe the emotions are also related to leaving comfort and moving into the unknown and the stress of having to perform at a new (presumably) higher level. That would scare the h@ll out of anybody. New opportunities, new possibilities. Kinda like leaving for college....exciting yet terrifying. Melancholy to be expected. One of the most helpful vids you've ever made. Thank you. PS - I trust leaders who share their struggles AND their successes far more than those who paint a rosy picture.

Omg thank you Lisa. I know you live with the business struggles too. I love sharing my highlights and insights but I want to keep it real too. You rock. ❤️

You inspire me. As I reframe from my mess! Sharing the story is the way we use to learn and today is the day! Feel the feelings as our body is working to tell us a message.

Thank you for being real. Thank you for being authentic. All we usually see on social media and You Tube is everybody's perfect life... Or what they want to put out there. It's good to see the reality... The struggles too. It helps us know we are not failures.

Maybe you're being selfish sharing this; but you're serving us too. You're giving us a chance to support and empathize with you, and I appreciate this opportunity.
I get it. I become attached to places; and even if I'm excited about moving to the next place, I feel a little melancholy leaving the old home behind. There are so many exciting potentials for your new place; but you won't have you sweet Bailey with you, or Steve. Then, there are the Tuesday morning coffees. Those probably won't be quite so convenient in the new place. Then, it's really nice to be able to multi-task between home chores and career tasks. It's more than a physical move. It's a huge lifestyle change. Your new place is awesome; but the place you're leaving behind was awesome too, and the two places are completely different. What one has, the other one doesn't.
Hey, I just thought of something. Isn't your sister going to work in the new studio with you? If so, you're still going to be able to take a break and pop in on her. 😀 Oh, yes, you just validated my memory. 🤩
Oh! What do I think?!? Careful what you ask for, dear Monique.😂 😉Well, I think what you're feeling is perfectly natural; and I hope that your new place and your new lifestyle will increase the overall level of joy in your life. 🤩 That's what I think. 😄 I wish you many pets, purrs and T-R-E-A-T-S.😄 I don't think I remembered that quite right; but you get the gist. 🤗

You nailed it Carolyn, so many pros and cons. But yes having Bre here is amazing!

I would have already moved to my new studio. But i can totally relate, during Covid i had to work from home, i really hated going back to the office i really resented it. But now i have a routine and have since made the adjustment. It is really nice to work from home though.

Right? I'm torn. What I'm going to do is have a small deal at home and bring my laptop back and forth. My raid drive will stay at home too.

Monique, I'm sure the following is stuff you've already worked through. Just saying because some others who are watching your video and reading comments may not have internalized it yet.
The struggle is real don't deny it to your self. Having worked for an entire career in a high corporate job, the feelings you are describing here are stress related.Your body's reaction is a normal and natural reaction to the stress (prolonged "fight or flight" response). The more you try to bury it, the worse it gets (don't ask me how I know this. :) ). Sometimes I did my very best work during the highest points of stress, and sometimes I did my worst work under high stress, just depend on where I was mentally at that time, but what I learned was to just accept it, not try to suppress it and fid outlets (i.e. photography, fly fishing, hiking) to allow the opportunity to take my mind off of it for a while. If you cannot find a release for the high stress, your health will suffer (again, don't ask me how I know this...).
Looking forward to seeing the "Happy" Monique when you move into the new studio.

You got it! I'm envisioning more time for hobbies, friends and relaxation as I leave all my work at the new location. Thanks! 😊

Gary V says document not create. Just document your struggles on video then share when you are ready. Like a video journal for yourself that you can use as content later.
Just a suggestion. Nevertheless, you are doing great! Thank you for sharing!

      Thanks Sean. It's vulnerable but it's true.😊
