Back in the mid 70s, when I was a telecommunications technician with CN, working in Northern Ontario, I frequently rode freights. I'd often be in the locomotive, but sometimes in the caboose, sitting up in the cupola. Great view from both!
Train Sim World 2020 now has the Oakville sub DLC, maybe you guys should talk with Dovetail games and get the full Hamilton to Toronto route with the trains.
SgtMays yeah! I would love to see GO in TSW will all routes and the mp40, oh yeah I would buy the DLC. They just have to edit the mp36 and the bilevel couches on the Caltrain dlc. The hardest part would be the route but yeah It would be sick!
I've been waiting for a Go Transit route on TSW forever lol. The MP36 add-on is cool but the MP40 is way more powerful. and I think the Go routes would be challenging.
This is great. I wish they'd allow for ride-alongs, but understanding that security measures are one thing, I guess it just won't happen. Oh well. Thank you for the video anyway. :)
As long as someone doesn't have a gun I don't see any problem on a ride along............European planes still allow cockpit tours both in flight and on ground. US allows on ground cockpit tours but not in the air.
This is really cool also they should have A Co-train operator for him to direct the train to it's destination or the next stop, that way the main driver doesn't come back and he skipped a station
I believe it was due to having a safer alternative. The designated cab gives more crumple room, so I heard, that, in the case of collision, allows the driver a greater chance to come out unscathed.

i would love an mp54-ac on a possible Hamilton-Toronto LSW route
New cab car looks awesome. So much for losing the old but these will do a better job.

@@kylehill3643 FRA Rules prohibit passengers in an operating locomotive/ Cab car there is a lot going on when they are moving down the track at 85+MPH

I love the GO train diesel MP40PH-3C locomotive
"qualified commuter train operator"...nah, call them locomotive engineers. That's what is says on the rules card!
Well, train operator id technically correct, as train driver is 🤔
cool i never seen inside a cab car or a locomotive
I love the go train

0:49 'The Qualified Commuter Train Operator". Please, you mean the Engineer! Why not just say that!
this is shot like a T2P video
"To get there, your gonna have to go outside"
Me: quickly assumes a seat on top of the train roof
U guys forgot the old cabcars, the mp54acs, and the f59phs,
Who cares?
I never understood why agencies forced people to suit up like an Ironworker just to go inside a locomotive.
RIP old cab cars, no clue why they replaced them but hey what can you do

So you basically telled everyone how to drive the train .
Good to know
Bet you $1000 you will not be able to move it an inch
