"If karma doesn't hit you, then I will"
One of the coldest lines ever.
Ale bass hits like a freight train. Her slide is like an atomic bomb.
I've been a bass guitarist for more than 30 years, and Ale is one of my biggest influences of today. She indeed goes nuclear with that slide, or the double slide in Disciple. Ale and her Spector are one!
She is only 19. How good will she be at 30?
@@PhilAndrews-m8l Yeah and she was already amazing at 9 playing Enter Sandman from the Cave. Ale is already a world class bass guitarist at just 19, where she goes in 30 is beyond the stars!
Pau wrote this about her friends that told her to ditch practicing her music to hang out with them because music wasn’t going to take her anywhere. “If karma doesn’t hit you then I will” Don’t mess with Pau! ⚡️⚡️⚡️🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
That’s so dope! Always work toward your dreams! You never know what will happen!!
If you piss Pau off she'll write a song about you, and probably kick ya in the nads. Just sayin'.
Teatro Metropolitan CDMX is the EPIC concert!
Animosity.... the song that hooked me to The Warning, and still my favorite TW song to this day. 🤩The drive, the simple but insanely effective composition, Dani's ferocious performance, and, oh, these passionate lyrics. Complete package. 🔥🤘❤🔥 Thx for this reaction.
Queens of rock. Yes, these ladies definitely know their art. ❤❤❤
The ladies are masters at blending genres. Dany playing those riffs while singing so bad a** 🤘⚡️🤘
Hell of a guitar riff that Dany plays while singing. Just 🔥. I’ve really run out of superlatives to describe how much talent these young ladies have.
We are witnessing the best rock band on the planet today.
This is one of my favorite songs 😝they played it at ShipRocked and in the part that says "this ship is going down" you can hear someone saying " I hope not" 🤣 the perfect place to play it 🤘
Especially considering that the ship crashed into the harbour wall later that week... 🚢⚓
Lol. You could tell in Dany's delivery of that line she got a kick out of that line under the circumstances.
I love this song! Glad you pointed out Dany's guitar work! It's outstanding!!! ❤❤❤
She doesn't get enough credit for her guitar work from most reactors.
This song alone could make a person a hardcore fan of these ladies. Fortunately they have a whole battalion of songs that can do the same. While some think that Dany’s guitar work is simple, that’s just not the case. While she is singing they don’t notice all the subtle intricacies she does that keeps the song fresh until the final note, and she rarely repeats herself from verse to verse. She changes it up a little each time. Once you fall under their spell there is no going back.
Animosity actually did make me a hardcore fan of The Warning. It's so passionate, catchy, and the lyrics are plainly adorable. 😀
"The Warning Hits Factory Inc."😂
absolutely love this song 🥰 and Ale's base line is just fire 💥🤘⚡
Absolutely EPIC live performance!!
Dany is the riff master!
These sisters are overwhelmingly talented!
Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
The Warning are the best writers of rock-music today, but they are also best music-arrangers. This song runs for more than 4 mins, which give the space to "fool" around and have fun with the song.
Dany is 🔥🔥🔥
You have to listen to Survive from their Ted Talk!
Contains one of my all time favourite The Warning lyric 'If karma doesn't hit you, then I will".
Legends they are, Icons they will be! Welcome to the Warning Army.
So much more to come! Can’t wait!
Animosity is fire, one of my favorites. All three of them really bring it in this song, but I especially love Dany's vocal delivery, so bitingly acid.
This song is awesome especially knowing the back story the drums are sick. Ale's bass was thumping strong and Dany killed on the guitar and vocals so good. Great reaction thank you. 🔥⚡
I appreciate you!! than you!
My favorite song off the Error album !
Another great reaction. Glad you point out Dany's guitar work. Watching her fingers up and down that fret board is like watching spiders and she kills it. Detractors say Dany isn't a "lead" guitarist because she doesn't shred a solo every song. Well, she doesn't need to with the way their songs are structured. She might not be Zakk Wylde, but Dany can EFFING SHRED when she wants.
Legends in the making. Rock n roll Hall of Fame here they come.❤
The OMV for Animosity is real cool.
The reference of Mayday, Mayday, this ship is going down has more than a nautical meaning.
Ship is a slang term for relationship/friendship. If you think of the context of the song the “ship” part makes a lot more sense as in friendship, in this case, is crumbling. Most people seem to interpret that phrase the other way which is understandable.
Ale’s bass slide is phenomenal and punctuates leaving the bridge so nicely.
I always imagine Pau beating her kit a bit more fiercely when playing this song because of the personal meaning behind it.
Many songs by TW do have punk elements but I would consider Animosity a straight rocker.
First video I watched when my friend told me about The Warning, it had just been realeased. I was hooked!! Now I have all their albums with Keep Me Fed on preorder ! Seen them LIVE last year, already have tickets for this September to see them. Cannot wait!!
It's so good!
2024 is going to be their year. I heard them being interviewed on Loudwire last night. Great interview capped off with Enter Sandman, likely giving a whole new bunch of folks their first taste. Glad I already got tickets to the Atlanta show this September. 🤘🤘
Great reaction! 23 more - Keep ´em coming!!
Thank you! Will do!
Your enthusiasm renewed my admiration for the composition of this song! 😎👍
this is masterpiece!!! mayday!!!!!! mayday!!!!!!!
Pau was fillin' it, Dany and Ale were killin' it, and the whole freakin' crowd was feelin' it! Love the live 💥🔥🤘
Keep it going! I love this song and this concert!!🔥⚡️
This is one song of TW that I needed to hear several times to grow on me and now I absolutely love this song. 🤘😎❤️⚠️
Todays lesson, don't piss Paulina off!
My personal Favorite! Although anything TW is Awesome! As always, Rock On DPA & TW Army! ⚡✌️🤟⚠️⚡
Love your enthusiasm
Rock Goddesses at the highest level!!!! Thanks RA for another great reaction!...They are one of a kind. ⚡⚡🤘🤘
I got you fam! Also thank you for hangin with me! It's been epic!
The Warning ⚠️ is the best band in the 21st century!
So dang talented.
Ale's bass slide on this song kills me and brings me back to life at the same time.
I completely agree with your comment about Dany’s guitar work in this song-being able to sing and play is one thing. Keeping up with all the time signature changes and switching up the sound on the pedal board is a NEXT LEVEL amount of talent that I think often goes under appreciated.
I love when she swings the PRS out onto her hip and plays that arpeggio--
🤘🤘
Check the Rig Rundown video with Dani. She’s a total gear nerd. She explains her pedal board and how she uses it.
This is my favorite song from the warning
Animosity is a great song. The lyrics are so surprising and goes against the grain. "It's not me it's you," goes against the grain of pop culture, "If karma doesn't hit you, then I will." I don't think Pau originally wrote that line, but it fits the song so well, and goes against the grain. The idea that one should "let it go," or "kill them with kindness," this song unapologetically flies in the face of all that, and you're right, it's punk rock!
I love the last line of the chorus, "If karma doesn't hit you then I will."
Glad you went with the live on this one. If you are looking to do an MV next I suggest that you take it way back to the first album and check out XXI Century blood.
Let's talk about how Dani sings the melodies over all the changes of single note lines and chords while foot switching guitar tones every verse and chorus. I don't know if any body does it at her level. She has 3 brains going at the same time.
I really like your reactions. You have superb sound and you’re pointing out things as you see them. This song is one of my favorites by TW
The bridge of this song is a whole song in itself!
Yes, I agree, this ladies will be rocking for all the future. They makes me smile every day. Greetings from Argentina, sorry form my bad english.
I love that they do what they want, no straight rock, punk, metal ore what ever. May be thats experimenting but thats so damn refreshing. I wish more stations over here in Europe would play them. I feel the radio here is to conservativ and mainstream oriented. No Nightwish, Sabaton, Electric Callboy or The Warning ect., only on special Rock & Metal channels and that sucks.
They should be playing all those bands! Shits wild fam. Start your own radio station!
🤘Love this song! 🤘Check out the OMV, really badass!
They recently announced the tour dates for the North American part of the 'Keep Me Fed' tour. Definitely go see them if you have the chance! This is one of their 'why don't I listen to this more often songs' every time I do hear it but with their expanding catalogue that list will only get longer over the years I'm afraid. Looking forward to the next, hope that the first album also get's some love during the remaining days so next to the omv for 'XXI Century Blood' I recommend 'Copper Bullets' and/or 'Black Holes' from the Dakota Bar concert.
I do get some Green Day+Black Sabbath vibes in this song. Very cool reaction, bro. Thank you for being an awesome reaction, TH-camr.
I love this song so much... the first time I ever checked out The Warning I found this video!!
24. Too much to SEE. ⚡🤘⚡🤘⚡🤘
As much as they go from,to, or in between styles I think we should just call it warning rock
That guitar riff reminds me of old school '80's Judas Priest.
This is genius song writing if you ask me.. It's like taking a musical journey...You want to take a different journey? try REVENANT, Same show..Pau sings on stage without the drum kit..💥🤯🤘🎶✌️
You might want to check out the gear rundowns they did on digital tourbus. There's one for each band member.
⚡️TWA⚡️
🤘🏻 30 Days!!!
I am in friggin agony in this vid. I have been sick for the past five days, and unable to vocalize without spinning into an unbelievably painful and horrific feat of communication... but it's all horrible, and all part of the sickness I am experiencing. And I *hate* it. And I *shouldn't*, because these are my favorite artists these days... but for the moment, I have to cater to the way the videos are done.
🔥🔥🔥🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼⚡
❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
I would love to see them live with you man! Love your total awesome vibes and observations 😎😎😎
The Warning = Alejandra (Ale) 🎸🎤+ Paulina (Pau) 🥁🎤+ Daniela (Dany) 🎤🎸 Villarreal. Three talented Mexican sisters. !!!🎵ole ole ole oleeee Warning Warning🎵¡¡¡. Greetings from Argentina.
Excelente reacción amigo!!!!🤘
Very punk rock 🔥🤘
❤❤❤
Welcome to the cult.
Pennywise vibes in this song intro for sure!!
Dany (guitar) works hard to get the emotion correct that Pau (drums) was experiencing when she wrote this song... *Animosity* was spawned from a childhood friendship breaking up...
basically the story is that someone said something like, "come hang out with us. that band thing won't go anywhere. why are you wasting your time?" well, you can imagine how that went over... TWA like to joke that the moral of the story is "Don't upset Pau or you may be memorialized in a song" 😹
*Fade Away* from the _"Escape the Mind"_ EP is similar to *Animosity* in that both talk about moving on after others have attempted to sully your drive and determination... i can easily see both of them being initially developed around the same time frame...
_some lyrics from _*_Fade Away_*_ :_
They told me I couldn't do it
That I would stumble and fall
I would get cuts and bruises
That I just should give up
[...]
And I'll walk, walk
Walk until the very top
And I'll run, run
Even though I stumble and fall
And I'll jump, jump
Jump until I reach the sun
And I'll shine, shine
Shine until my light fades away
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Thank you so much for this!
Please react to their song called "SURVIVE" live, IT'S INSANEEEEE ✨
Love the reaction! Please do a reaction to one from their first album, Runaway from Dakota Bar would be my suggestion.
⚡🤘⚡🤘⚡
⚡️⚡️⚡️T W ⚡️⚡️⚡️❤
now are already to 10 years career! Can you imagine when they will become 35 yr with 25 years career??
🤟
I'm with others here; "If karma doesn't hit then you I will". Do.NOT.piss.Pau.off!
🤘🤘🤘❤❤❤
Like Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett said about Pau: "The drummer kicks maximum ass!"
This song is great to listen on the freeway but, fair WARNING (Pun definitely intended), the gas pedal looks awfully friendly while listening this song 😁.
⚡Viva la Warning⚡
NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA 🤘😎🤘.
🔥⚡️🤟⚡️🔥
😁🤩
😎😎🤘🤘🤘🤘
Good reaction Man ! TW are going to kill the rock world :) TWA
Do yourself, and us, a favor and listen to Queen of the Murder Scene Live, but the Metropolitan Theater version. One of the best live songs for me.
Its so wierd how people in many countries really apreciate what they doing, instead the hate they receive in their own country
I suspect any hate The Warning is getting back home is from a vocal minority. They sold out a 10,000 seat show "back home" in what what was it? 3 hours? Four?
Success tends to shut people up. If that doesn't, well, let's just crank Narcisista one more time for the haters in the back.
The happy days, when they where writing their own music.
@steenandersen1163 They still are.
Like so many great bands The Warning sounds better live. They control the stage so well. I can't get enough of their range.
CD MX= Ciudad de México
Stop calling it Punk Rock. This is The Warning Rock. There's never been a Punk Rock Band that even remotely mimic The Warning.
your comment alone tells me you know nothing about punk music or how other bands are influenced by other bands. How are classic punk bands going to mimic a new band only 4 albums in? Maybe there is a better way to get your point across other then trying to tell me what to do... I'm not a fan of that.
The first time I heard his song I became a Patron.
Ugh
It is interesting to hear that some compare The Warning's songs with other groups, Muse, Black Sabath, Ramonrs, etc. The day will come when they refer to the rock of the warning and that's it.
🤘🤘🤘
