I would also love new game but I hate the new contextual menu and building system it now feels more like Squad on drugs

@@timberwolf27 From what I've gathered, while it is heavily based on Flashpoint, its a stop gap between 3 and 4 where they are going to experiment with new engine tech. So i'd say its more like a spiritual rebirth of the series, trying to make the next big step for the franchise.

This is really amazing and the fact this trailer's in Everon.... Man, it looks so *GLORIOUS!* And the parts of the music here including the end where we got bits and references to Operation Flashpoint was amazing!

@@Elatenl it does, though! Bohemia Interactive was the developer behind the original Operation Flashpoint; at some point, they got into a pretty hairy conflict with their publisher, Codemasters, and wanted to walk away, however Codemasters held the rights to the Operation Flashpoint IP.
Nevertheless, Bohemia did eventually ditch Codemasters and the result was the ARMA series; Codemasters got a few different developers to churn out some sequels for Flashpoint too, but it's actually the ARMA games that were made by the guys behind the original OFP.
This is kind of why Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis was rebranded as ARMA: Cold War Assault.

for real. That's what I'm trying to find out before I buy this. I so badly wanted to get in to all the other ARMA titles, but they just felt like shit to move around in. Just couldn't grab me.

A lot is said about how important for community dialogue it is to show something along the way of progress towards the next big thing to keep doubts at bay and constructive feedback flowing along. And is made all the more important here by how deeply intertwined ArmA's community is with the series.
It's hard to even imagine a showcase of ongoing progress and achievement more thorough, meaningful and exciting than this. Thank you so much.

My heart stopped for a moment when I heard "Everon", gosh hope it will have the same slowly building up vibe as flashpoint had. I loved that game, this is a must to have game for me.

The movement looks so smooth and not so stiff and clunky like all past armas. Would be amazing to have the game feel more life like and free moving

Neboli díky, v Armě trojce mám přes 2700 hodin. Myslím si že v následující čtyřce jich strávím o poznání více. Těch několik hodin na to že se jedná defacto o prvopočátek a technický demonstrátor jsem si opravdu hodně užil a překvapuje mě s jakou plynulostí hra běží i na mé několik let staré bramboře. Ještě více mě překvapuje jaký to ve skutečnosti je problém nějakou chybu nebo glitch objevit. Opět super práce, Bohemko :)

once the servers and long freezes stabalize on next gen consoles, this game is gonna be a 10/10 and change everything for console milsim. literally had so much fun today playing it, even managed to get a few full scale operations going in random game master servers, although the servers died on most of the long ops, still had a blast, great job bohemia!
