This is an execellent explaination on Navigation and even I learned a few new things from this video. Well done to IronBeard and Bacon Body Odor their commentary and gag at the end was great.
I really wish I had gotten to play the orienteering scenario when it was working. It seemed really fun and it could nearly be its own game mode. If anyone else is curious theres a game on Steam called Land Nav thay could scratch that itch for you
when aiming with the compass the back (returning) azimuth is blocked from view, which forces me to add or subtract 180 instead of just seeing the back azimuth on the fly (which is important under combat) you need to take the camera view a bit up (when aiming) so the back azimuth is clearly visible. also you don’t hold a compass in that angle, you hold hold it flat, parallel to the ground. please fix it devs! other than that navigation is one of the more satisfying gameplay loops in reforger
Do you guys have a guide on vehicle mechanics/armor? I know only the BTR70 has any real armor, but there's currently really no way to tell how armor pen works or the hitboxes of the vehicles
We *need* to have the option to use the current control bindings. The new controls are so clunky, and feel awful for people who've built up the muscle memory on this game. We need a choice.
Yes, this is a reupload. The previous version of this tutorial referred to a scenario on the Workshop that is no longer being maintained, so we had to upload a new version to remove any mention of said scenario.
Please please please fix your damn servers lagging out and kicking me for dumb shi like replication or timeout or freezing, this game runs like horseshi in these servers please at least fix the lagging out
I disagree, i memorized all of the map. I don't even carry any navigation equipment at all as they use up valuable slots were i can put all the collectable watches in my inventory.

2:10 Are there mortars in game now? Cuz last time i checked the road map, mortars weren't added. Or is this foresight?
Mortars are not yet in game, Ironbeard is referring to how mils are typically used.

ah yes, the Tarkov/dayZ map memorizing strategy... works till they add a new map then we're all lost again
